woman some would say she was not even normal because not all were like her. Not everyone could be like her.
But, everyone breaks.
"It felt good, Ammi". Shariah said softly curling in her mother lap
"What did?". She asked smiling
"When he picked me from the ground and protected us like that". She replied innocently, "Is he our father?".
Her heart clenched.
"We need to sleep now we have an important day tomorrow". She said closing her eyes with her hand
He walked behind the two girls smiling to himself as he sees them talking among themselves while observing their surrounding. He remembers when he used to walk with her she would always do the same thing. She loved observing her surroundings and remembering every single detail talking non-stop. How is that they went from so much to nothing?.
"Shariah, look these look so sweet". Shaikhah said placing her head outside of the display sweet shop
"Can we just go?. Ammi will be worried". Shariah said
"I really want to eat one". Shaikhah said admiring the donut in front of her
"Which one?". He asked smiling at their shocked face
The little girls looked at him confused as he moves to stand beside them.
"I cannot eat any". Shaikhah said sadly
"Why not?". He asked not liking her sad face
"Because if I spend on this my lunch money will end". Shaikhah replied innocently
His face fell.
"Not when I buy them for you, right?". He suggested
"But, Ammi said not to take money from a stranger". Shaikhah said
"I am not a stranger. I will buy them". He said softly even when it hurts walking inside
He knows they followed behind him as he entered and he smiled to himself as he buys them to their heart and his heart content.
"You cannot just buy them things". She argued as he didn't even pay attention to her argument, "Are you listening?".
"Your bakery is pretty good, you know that?". He asked ignoring her fierce attitude
"I know that". She said puffing out
He grinned, "You know how to take compliment now".
"I know a lot of things". She said looking at her bills sighing
"What are you looking at?". He asked taking a step around her table
She hides the bills behind her back shaking her head, "Nothing".
He raised his eyebrows, "You are still a bad liar. What is it?".
"No, it's nothing". She said stubbornly
"It is something". He argued taking a step even closer ending all distance between them
Their breathing hitched.
It's been so long since they were this close to one another. There were so many feelings in their heart but their mouth remained sealed.
He snatched the paper from her hand after breaking from the spell her closeness always have on him. He frowned looking down at the numerous bills with the big amount until his heart stopped when he found hospital bills.
"Why is Shariah name here?". He asked shocked yet worried
She didn't speak.
He turned around looking at her, "Why is her name here, Arib?".
"I-". She started
"Don't even think about saying that you don't have to tell me or I will find about it on my own. Now, why is her name here?". He asked

"She has a condition since she was young for her heart". She replied clenching her hands because of the pain those words made her feel again
"I-Is it bad?". He asked
She nodded merely," She needs surgery but because of her age it is hard to find a right donor".
She sniffed the tears away not wanting to cry in front of her. But, he knew too well that she was going to cry and that had his heartbreak. Knowing that a young child was in so much pain was hurting him bad.
He walked on the road and his mind filled with thoughts. He had money, not even less it was more than enough for anything how is that his wife and children living like that?. How is that they are suffering so much while he lived in the best?.
He walked inside his empty house and after a long time it's emptiness and massive size haunts him to even take another step in. He dismissed his people still standing on the first step.
"Where have you been?". His friend said coming from inside, "You have any idea how worried we were?".
"Why?. I am not a kid". He replied nonchalantly
"You are acting like one". He heard the voice he never liked
"What are you doing here, Hamna?". He asked angrily
He wasn't in the mood, at all.
"Where were you?". She asked coming closer but he took a step back
"Why are you in my house?". He asked again
"Why are you acting like this, Ibrahim?. You know I am always worried about you". She said
"No, I don't want some outsider being worried about me. Now, leave". He said walking inside with his heavy heart
"How am I an outsider?. We were supposed to be married once". She yelled angrily
His steps stopped he turned around facing her, "We were supposed to be married but I am already married to someone else who I actually care for. I don't care about you and I have said it many times. I will never marry you".
"Did you meet her again?". She said narrowing her eyes
"Whether I did or not it's my life and my decision. Leave my house right now". He yelled angrily
"Ibrahim, calm down". His friend said coming in between them and making her leave
"This is not the end. I will not leave you". She yelled walking away
"What happened?". His friend asked as he saw him sitting alone in his trance
He explained the whole situation to him.
"You are saying that-". His friend started
"What do I do?. I don't know what I can do to bring them back. I need them back". He pleaded
His friend looked at him worried,"Ibrahim-".
"I want them, please". He pleaded again
"It's been a week and you are missing work". Director said angrily, "What have you been up to?".
"I think we are supposed to have a meeting in case of emergency not to know my whereabouts". He replied nonchalantly
His friend nudged him but he didn't care.
"That is not how you speak to the investor. You know how much loss we are facing because of your dream project and because of your wife". Director said
He stood from his seat, "My wife has nothing to do with my failure".

"Why is that you and your wife don't live together?". Director asked
Everyone started whispering around to know the answer.
"Do you see me asking about your personal life?". He asked angrily
"We are not going ahead with this project anymore". Director said as everyone agreed
His heartache.
He chuckles dryly as he walked on the side of the road alone. He worked so hard for the project that was taken from him in a few moments.
He lost again.
In everything.
Unknowingly, he just kept walking aimlessly around. Each step was heavier than the previous step he took.
He missed how she used to be always there for him at times like these. She was his only supporter in this world. Every single time he was defeated she stands beside him against the world.
He always used to come home sad and she would always be there smiling for him.
He falls on the ground as tears brimmed his eyes. No matter how strong he acted he was weak for her. He wanted her in his life.
"Why are you being like this?". He heard her voice
He looked at where she was standing in front of him with tears in her eyes.
"Why are you being like this, Ibrahim?". She asked falling in front of him
He looked at her without even saying a word as their tears filled their faces.
"Why? Why?". She said hitting his chest, "You cannot be like this, Ibrahim. You are stronger than this, please".
He forwards his hand pulling her towards him.
"I need you, Arib, please". He said crying holding her tighter
"It is not that easy, Ibrahim. Do you even know why I left?". She asked wanting to hold his hand again
"Because I didn't have time for you and all I do was earn money". He replied immediately
She shakes her head, "No, that was not the only reason".
"Then what was the reason?". He asked desperately
"I knew you would be here". Humna said standing behind them
They turned around looking at her.
"You already left him then why are you being so innocent?". Humna yelled angrily
"Don't talk to her like that". Ibrahim said standing in front of her
"She is not as innocent as she looks she betrayed you and who knows what she had been-". Humna started but was cut off by Arib slap
"I have heard enough from you when I was living in my house I have absolutely no need for your toxic words anymore". She said angrily walking away
She walked back home remembering how his friend has come to her place telling her about the deal and more. She knows he loves her more than anything. There was never a doubt in that she knows him more than he knew himself that was what kept them together.
When she came to know the only thing she knew was she had to go to him and she did like every time she would.
Because, she loves him too.
To watch that woman lingering around him had once again caused a pain in her heart unknowingly. She never liked and now the thought of her leaving her place and allowing her free access to do what she wants scares her. Maybe, she shouldn't have left but it hurt too much to stay.
But, could she stay away anymore?.
She looked at the ambulance standing in front of her house and she ran to see her child being carried inside.
Her whole being shut down.
The next few hours, she suffered from Shaikhah to know how Shariah was doing but there was no news. She left her kids with his friend when she went out for him but she came to know that Shariah had pain in her chest which she knew wasn't her chest.
It was her heart.
She had evaluated maybe over evaluated that her heart was even weaker.
She couldn't do a thing.
She moved away from sleeping Shaikhah to take a fresh breath. But, as she walked outside each breath and step caused her more pain. She doesn't want her to suffer like this. Why does a young child have to go through this?.
"She needs surgery in a month". The doctor said
She stumbles but before she can fall someone holds her back. She knew that touch, it was him.
Ibrahim.
She turned around hugging him tightly crying in his hold.
"We will do the surgery". He said firm
"I am sorry but only her family-". The doctor said
"I am her father". He replied
"I never knew she was married". Doctor mumble
"Well, she is married and our child is leaving this hospital right now". He said angrily taking her away from there
"You have to allow me to do this". He said holding her hand as she hadn't even looked at him once
She nodded her head, "You can do it".
"What?". He said shocked
As much as he knows she would have fought him until the end of it.
"You can take her away and do her surgery. Just please save her". She pleaded for the first time looking in his eyes with tears
He cleaned her tears away, "Don't cry. She will be fine. I promise. You have to come with me so we can do this. She needs you more right now".
She nodded.
She entered the house she had left in a scar. To enter back it brings back memories she wouldn't want to remember but they always haunted her.
Why does her happy place turn so dark?.
"This is your house?". Shaikhah said smiling looking at Ibrahim
Ibrahim walked in carrying a sleeping Shariah nodding, "This is our house".
"But, it's too big for us". Shaikhah said
"Well, we can change the house anytime. But, after Shairah is back to normal". He replied placing her on the couch
"Will she be ok?". Shaikhah asked sadly
He holds Shaikhah in her hands," She will be perfect. All you can do is stay with her and pray for her".
He leaves both his daughter on the couch looking for his wife who still stayed at the door looking down.
"What's wrong, Arib?". He asked softly
"I cannot do this. I still remember-". She started
He placed his hand on her mouth shaking his head, "I know there is so much here but just look at our daughter. That is all".
"Why is she here?". He heard the annoying voice he never wants to hear

LIlith's Firstborn
The legend says that the Forbidden Fruit made the first two humans – Adam and Eve – intelligent, but what if it was the other way around? What if the Forbidden Fruit took most of their humility, their intelligence, their kindness, etc. away and turn them into the discriminating, angry, and hateful humans that they are? What if the only way to turn back into their former selves was to lead a good life on Earth to cleanse their souls? The legend also says that Lilith was a demoness who fled from Heaven and was granted mercy when she showed humility and proved that her soul was still worthy of saving despite all her wrongdoings. What if, after centuries of sinning, Lilith finally found her way back to kindness? What if God forgave Lilith for her crimes? What if she gave birth to a baby after she had repented? And what if that baby is the only human soul in existence that isn’t tainted by the Forbidden Fruit or her past sins? Tallitanya of Lilith inherited her mother’s immortality and grew up at a rate much slower than an average human so she had witnessed the rise and fall of empires even though she is physically and mentally 21 years old. She was born on Earth, but she moved to Heaven when she was physically 5 years old and didn’t return until she was 18 years old. She was tasked, by God himself, to guard over the Forbidden Tree which had since been replanted on an isolated island on Earth. She loves that job, and she loves that she was given direct instructions instead of having to figure out what God’s so-called ‘mysterious plans’ for her was. Centuries went by. Tallitanya is 21 years old when the Final Judgement is nigh. As an immortal who has yet to have a real affiliation with Heaven or Hell, Tallitanya has received a personal invitation from the Antichrist who wishes to recruit Tallitanya. Heaven also sends its angel – Michael – to inform Tallitanya that as a human, her soul would also be judged by God. She was ordered to leave her post as the Forbidden Tree’s guardian so that she could get to know the other humans before she makes an actual decision about who she wants to align herself with. The second she steps out of the island, it disappears. Turns out, her message from God was faked, and so was her mission. The devil had tricked her, and as the guardian of the Forbidden Tree, she must recover the tree and the island, or humanity will perish within the year.
