"hey y/n! are you free on wednesday?" nezuko spoke over the phone. "yea, i think so. we didn't get much homework since the winter ball is this weekend so i don't have anything to do this week," i replied.
"cool! let's go dress shopping! i got aoi and kanao to come along too! and plus, you need to look your best for your date with muichiro~" nezuko continued. it wasn't supposed to be a date, right?
"well i guess i'll join you since it would be fun," i told her. i could already tell that she was excited.
꧁☁︎︎☁︎︎☁︎︎☁︎︎꧂
"ooh! lets go in here first! look!" nezuko exclaimed as she dragged us into a clothing shop. she flipped through the clothing racks, pulling out a few pink dresses.
i looked around the store while nezuko took kanao to try on some of the dresses she picked out. "y/n, there's more really nice clothes on this side of the store too," aoi called out to me.
i followed her to a room of the store and found something that caught my eyes.
[insert a picture of something you would wear to a winter ball- it doesn't need to be a dress]
"that's a nice outfit y/n!" i heard nezuko appear behind me with a dress in her hands. yea, i think this is actually kind of stylish. i decided to buy the outfit. kanao and nezuko bought matching pink dresses, and aoi bought a two piece denim fit that looked really nice on her.
-
"isn't this exciting! the winter ball is tomorrow!" nezuko spoke as we sat down to eat lunch.
"yes indeed! i can not wait to see tokito and l/n together!" i looked up and saw mr. rengoku, joining in on our conversation once again. "make sure to wear something nice muichiro!" he continued and looked in muichiro's direction.

"oh right i forgot. oh wait never mind, i just remembered that we bought some stuff yesterday. yea, i am excited for the ball too," muichiro replied with a small smile.
it was nice seeing him smile, even if it was just for a little while.
"YOU KIDS FINISH YOUR MATH HOMEWORK FIRST." mr. shinazugawa shouted while running towards us and dragging inosuke away from the table.
yea, i was excited too. the winter ball was gonna be fun.
꧁☁︎︎☁︎︎☁︎︎☁︎︎꧂
"we're here!" nezuko shouted from outside my house. the girls were gonna take a separate can from the boys so that we didn't get a peek of each other's outfits.
"well it's time. come on, we don't want to keep them waiting, do we?" aoi gave a little smile while helping me into the cab.
———
i stepped out the cab as it came to a stop on the side of the road, in front of the school gym.
mr. giyuu, our gym teacher, was waiting outside the gym to help us out.
i stepped into the gym along with the girls, and we took a look around before we spotted the boys. wow, they really went all out.
and there he stood, muichiro. i stood there, silently admiring his look before flashing a smile. he reached out his hand to me.
"lets dance."

What Was Lost Outside Time
What happens to a mind, subjected to an infinite span of time? What remains, when it is taken out again? This is the story of an individual reborn after such time has passed that nothing remains of what it was; an individual who must learn once again what it is to be, beginning with awareness of the idea of awareness, and growing from there; from awareness of self, to awareness of others, to awareness of society, and on. This is the story of a mind; growing, learning, adapting, and becoming more. -- Currently the first three chapters are - well, kind of experimental. I both like and hate these; they were a pain to write, and I'm told by at least one person that they're painful to get through, but I think something like them is necessary to set one of the basic ideas about the way the story is written. It gets slightly more normal after that, the first arc of the story is rather "battle school", and I think I may need to go back and edit it - the characterization didn't end up working out as well as I had originally hoped, unfortunately, and ended up rather weak to my eye. I may go back and add a sub-plot or two, depending on how well I can handle the intended perspective shift of the second arc. -- Currently on hiatus, in case that wasn't obvious. I'm debating between rewriting large portions of what I've already written, and just finishing out the story, but either way, I don't actually have a clear idea of what I want to do right now. If I'm still feeling the same way in a few months I'll put a chapter up explaining where the story was going, maybe, so the people who have enjoyed it can know where the story was intended to go, and close this out.

Dream Theater
Long casted shadows danced in the background, as a man squibbled and jotted words on yellow papers. A mere novelty, remnant and ghost that was left to age away along with the forgotten theater, a man grasped for inspiration to salvage what was left of his soul. Abandoned in the squalid room, Pxan was left hauntedly in the furthest corners of insanity that bubbled in his mind. No one would listen to his plight, denouncing him and claiming his mind was not right. Even though the world left him with nothing, turning their backs to him, he knew the books would never betray him in the same fashion. Faceless pages and books yet to be read ogled puppy eyes, ready to be penned by the madman. “Pxan! Pxan! Over here! To me!” Clamored the unpublished manuscripts. Pxan’s fingers quivered nervously, thoughts of failure flooded his mind. Wanting to surrender to the pressure. “No!” He cried. “I’ve had enough of writing.” Books with eyes all stared at him, begging for the tales to be written. Their pleaful eyes were all that Pxan needed to be moved to writing again. The man sighed and raised his pen again, stroking the first letters of inspiration that bore fruit from his mind. A maddening tale of a policeman, cultists and a violent revenge… -Currently on Hiatus while writing the second volume. The first volume is up. I will take a few days to rewrite a few chapters. Mutation Era
That one fateful day, he showed up. The man in black. He who acted like this life was just another game. He appeared everywhere. Floating up in the sky. So naturally, but yet strangely eerie. He raised his hand and snapped then… Mutation. ... This is my first story that i've written, and with no education in story-writing, please don't expect anything of quality. I encourage you to give me feedback on my work. On that note, have fun reading! You can expect maybe 1 or 2 chapters per month because I'm really slow at writing. Chapter art courtesy of gej302
