"i want you to use these sheets of paper as practice for making flashy origami models," mr. uzui, our art teacher, told us. we all stared blankly in confusion. he had passed out stacks of squared origami paper on everyone's desks.
this week he had taught us about the history of basic origami. "use your creativity and create something flashy to hang up in the class," our teacher continued. what an interesting assignment.
"okay lunch time everyone. replenish your bodies and enjoy a 5 star flashy lunch."
-
"so what's everyone doing for their project?" tanjiro looked at all of us in curiosity. "i was hoping to get some origami inspiration from some of the girls in our class~" zenitsu turned to face nezuko. "well my project is a secret!" nezuko replied.
"i was gonna make a paper plane," i heard a voice say the exact same words i just said at the same time. it was muichiro. we both had the same idea for our project? i looked at him with a confident smile. "well we'll have to see who's the real pilot here!"
"alright. lets see who can construct a faster plane right now," i stood up to look down at her.
"okay fine. lets go," she sat down and took a square sheet of paper. i followed and took out my paper.
"done!" we both exclaimed at the same time. "now let's test the distance it can go. she threw her plane which started gliding before it curled and went to an opposite direction. "mayb-"
i was cut off as the plane poked my cheek. y/n and everyone else at our table started laughing a little. her laugh was so sweet. i enjoyed hearing it. i wanted to hear her laugh again. "oh you're on," i folded more planes and threw them all at her face, aiming to land a few pokes on her.

"hey!" she giggled and took her sheets of paper to fold more planes. we continued throwing planes at each other while the others slowly joined in and helped fold more planes.
"i see everyone is enjoying my project," mr. uzui walked up to us and threw a paper airplane to the ceiling. hey that's kind of cool. i came up with an idea, and decided to tell y/n about it. i pulled her outside the crowd and whispered in her ear. "that's a great idea! lets do it!" she exclaimed.
"mr. uzui, muichiro and i had an idea." he turned his head to listen to me. "what if everyone were to create their own paper airplane in their own way, and then we can all hang the planes on the ceiling in our classroom..it'll show that people see origami in different ways..and that even though it's all paper airplanes, there's something unique about each plane.." i continued.
"i love it! very flashy! it's like how we're all humans but we're all special! how flamboyant!" mr. uzui shouted his thoughts about our idea, and later announced it to everyone.
"hey muichiro..that was a good idea. you're very creative..smart, too." i giggled a little before flashing a smile at him.
(just pretend it's a classroom lol)

This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

Does it make sense to rip a hole within reality into another dimension, to a planet billions of galaxies away, and accurately transport a single person(s)?
