《Resident Evil 2 x Male Reader (Trapped In A Game)》Epilogue

Y/N, Claire and Sherry finally made it outside as the train exited the tunnel. The sun has risen as The three survived the night at Raccoon City. They were going on foot and taking the road they saw. Sherry looked at both Y/N and Claire and wondered about something.
Sherry: "So...are you guys like, boyfriend and girlfriend?"
Y/N: "I uh, no, actually, we met when we came to the city last night and..." He started getting flashback about Chris.
Chris: "(Continue the Redfield bloodline and fuck my sister.)"
Y/N shook his head out of the thought.
Claire: "If it was, it would've been one hell of a first date."
Y/N: "Yeah, I'll have to choose a nicer place next time." He joked.
She chuckled.
Claire: "Truthfully, I chose the place since I told you to take us there."
Y/N: "True." He slightly laughed.
Sherry: "Look! He might be able to give us a ride." She pointed to a truck that was driving their way. Claire turned to Y/N.
Claire: "What if it's just not the city?"
Y/N: "Only one way to find out. You two step back."
Claire and Sherry stepped out of the road and Y/N had his pistol ready to be drawn. As the truck got closer, the driver gave him the finger as the truck drove past them. Y/N watched the truck leave.
Y/N: "Guess that answers that. Wasn't that polite of him."
Claire: "So... is it over?"
Y/N: "Yeah, for now. The people responsible for this mess will be stopped one day and we'll be ready for them."
Claire: "Damn right we will and I still have to find my brother."
Y/N: "Come on, let's go and find help."
Sherry took Y/N's hand and took Claire's hand. They begin to travel on the road. Not too far away from them Chris was watching them.
Chris: "(Good, you're getting close Y/N.)"
Claire: "Hey Y/N, once we get out of this, maybe we can on normal date this time."
Y/N: "I thought that was just a joke."
Claire: "Yeah well, we never got the chance to know each other much last night."
Y/N: "(But I already started having an interest in Ada, one day I'll see her again in maybe... On second thought, no. I'm not doing that long distance relationship like Leon does. It's too much. I'll choose Claire. You happy now, Chris!)"
Y/N: "Sure, why not. Sounds like fun."
Claire smiled.
Claire: "The last thing we need is my brother's approval. He's really picky about me going out with someone. He wants them to meet up to his standards. It's really annoying."

Y/N: "I'm...sure you won't have to worry about that."
Sherry: "Hey, maybe you guys can adopt me someday."
Claire: "Adopt you?" She chuckled.
Sherry: "We can get a puppy! And a Parrot!"
Y/N: "Um yeah. Okay." He laughed.
Sherry: "I always wanted pets but my mom said they're too messy."
Chris continued monitoring them as he started to smile.
Chris: "I think my mission is done. At this rate, the bloodline should be secured."
Y/N: "Is it just me or is the sun unusually bright?"
Claire: "Now that you mentioned it, yeah it is. We might have been in the dark for too long. That could be it."
Y/N: "Now it's getting brighter. I feel like I'm getting blinded."
Sherry: "Claire, Y/N, what's going on?"
Claire: "What's with this brightness?!"
Y/N: "It's too bright!"
The three had to cover their eyes from the bright light. As Chris watched, he saw that it was getting bright around the three.
Chris: "What the hell?"
He also had to cover eyes from the brightness. Soon the brightness died down and they were able to uncover their eyes.
Claire: "What was that suppose to be? Y/N? Y/N?!"
She looked around for Y/N but wasn't anywhere around.
Sherry: "Where's Y/N?!"
Claire: "Y/N! Where are you?!"
There was no response.
Claire: "Did that sudden light have something do with it."
Sherry: "Claire, where could Y/N be?"
Claire: "I don't know. But we'll find him. I promise."
They had no choice but to continue traveling without Y/N.
Claire: "(I don't know where you could be or how that strange light made you disappear. But I won't stop looking for you, Y/N.)" She thought.
Chris couldn't find Y/N anywhere in the area.
Chris: "Where could he go? How could that weird light make Y/N gone? Did Umbrella make some new bioweapon I wasn't aware of? Whatever it is, how dare they take Y/N away from Claire. I'll make them pay."
He contacted his team and gave the report.
Chris: "This is Chris, mission failed. Send me back to the present time."
He soon teleported and returned to his own timeline.
Y/N uncovered his eyes and looked around. He saw the computer that showed the results on the screen. The lights were on and the results read story completed, Leon S. Kennedy. Game mode, standard. The time and zero saves. On the bottom was a big C for the rank.
Y/N: "What? I'm back? I'm back! I'm home!"

He thought he was going to stay in that world forever and was somewhat sad because he won't see Claire or Ada anymore.
Y/N: "All I had to was to beat the game. And... Come on, C? Really? I just lived through the whole game without dying and you give me a C?!"
He clicked and exit the results screen then exit the game. He turned and saw that it was morning outside.
Y/N: "I played through the entire night like I said. I'm glad it's over."
He got up and turned off his computer. He thought about deleting his Resident Evil 2 game so he wouldn't have to go through with it again but he decided not to.
Y/N: "I need some sleep."
He heads for bed and soon passes out on it. As he was about to sleep, he had his last thought about the Resident Evil games.
Y/N: "(I'm definitely done with that series. I don't want to deal with that shit again.)"
Chris was back to his timeline. The first thing he saw was his team greeting him.
Hound Wolf squad: "Welcome back, Captain."
Jill: "So, were you able to find Leon?"
Chris: "No, he wasn't there. But there was someone else. His name is Y/N."
Jill: "Y/N? Who's he?"
Chris: "He was skillful in fighting against the T and G Virus. As well as taking down a tyrant. He also seemed to know Claire. Since, Leon wasn't around, I turned to Y/N instead and found him worthy of continuing the Redfield bloodline. But somehow he went missing after they escaped Raccoon City. I'm still trying to find out how."
Jill: "Could your travel through time be the reason why things were different there?"
Chris: "Maybe, but either way. We're back to square one and Claire's running out of time."
Jill: "Chris, you know there's another way. You don't have to look for Leon or Y/N. Why not someone who be happy to help you continue your bloodline thing?"
Chris: "Come to think of it, you're right. There was someone I could always count on."
Jill smiled as she was willing to continue the bloodline with Chris. She was happy that Chris was finally turning his attention to her or so she thought.
Chris: "Gear up men, we're going to Eastern Europe."
Lobo: "Sir, what about Miranda?"
Chris: "We'll go after her next."
Jill: "Why do you need go there?"
Chris: "Because there's someone I know who could continue the Redfield bloodline."
Jill: "Chris, I was referring to me! Why not have me help with that stupid bloodline?!"
Chris: "You know that wouldn't work. Two women can't make a child together. It has to be a man."
Jill: "That's not what I... Whatever, go do what you want. But you can forget my help on this."
Chris: "(What is she so mad about?)"
Jill: "(How could he be this dense?)" She thought annoyed.
Chris: "Alright, we'll see you again when we get back."
The Hound Wolf team head for the helicopter and begin to take off to it's destination.
Canine: "Captain, If I may ask, isn't he married?"
Chris turned his head up and looked outside.
Chris: "Not for long."
Ethan who was at home, waiting for his wife, Mia to finish dinner.
Mia: "Is she okay?"
Ethan: "Sleeping like a...well, like a baby."
They had a daughter together who was now 6 months old.
Ethan: "That smells good. What's that?"
She smacked his hand away from the pot.
Mia: "Hands off, mister. It's ciorba de legume. It's a local recipe."
Ethan: "Wow. You've gone full native, haven't you?"
Mia: "Local wine, too."
She picked up the bottle and walked to the table. Ethan followed her.
Mia: "But if you're going to keep sulking all evening, maybe you shouldn't have any."
Mia set the bottle on the table as Ethan set the wine glasses by it. He sat down as Mia poured the wine on the glass.
Mia: "You really have to stop worrying."
Ethan: "It's just... Finding you in Louisiana, the pregnancy, Chris moving us here, military training. It all happened so fast, you know?"
Mia: "Well, at least we're all together. You, me, Rose. Now everything's going to be-"
Ethan: "Seriously? You think we can just forget what happened in Louisiana?"
Mia: "It happened so long ago. I just... I don't understand why you are so-"
Suddenly, she was shot in the shoulder. Mia looked and was confused about what happened.
Ethan: "Wha?! Mia, get down!"
The lights went out and Mia was shot multiple times. Ethan had to take cover from the bullets.
Ethan: "Mia!"
She getting shot a lot from machine gun fire until finally, she fell to the ground. Ethan was behind the table, taking cover from the gun fire.
Ethan: "Mia. Oh, god..."
He saw Mia who looked badly wounded from the bullets. Eventually, someone was approaching to him and moved the table out of the way. It was someone he recognized.
Ethan: "Chris?! What the hell?!"
Chris: "Sorry, Ethan."
He pointed his pistol at Mia and shot her in the head 5 times.
Ethan: "WHY?!"
Chris: "Leon and Y/N have both failed me. Now It's up to you to continue the Redfield bloodline."

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment.
