《Destiny That Binds Us》34: Mind your own business

Suhana held her breath and opened the glass door connecting to the balcony and leaned in, letting out a sigh of relief.
She felt serene after having a healthy conversation with Anika, and could already feel positive vibes around her.
She grinned widely as a plan came across her mischievous brain box.
In excitement, she sat on the chair in the balcony, with her lips stretched till her ears as her brain cells were vibing to her excitement level. And then, she couldn't hold it to herself any longer.
All she wanted was to immediately run to Vikram and spill out the whole mission she had planned inside her memory box to unite Rohit and her evil little sister.
As she stood up with her enthusiasm hyping her up, she barged back into the bedroom in her way to leave this room.
As she was about to reach the door handle to leave the room, the door opened inwards, forcing her to move back.
With her adrenaline rushing, Suhana took abnormal steps backwards, as she stumbled upon her own dress and the next second, she was falling backwards which was leading her straight down to the floor.
Screaming her lungs out she was falling backwards as Vikram held her hand with his, and pulled her front, as Suhana bumped against Vikram's hard chest with a loud thud.
Suhana gasped as she looked into Vikram's eyes while hers was popping out and her mouth hanging down confused, with both of their hands intertwined in between both of them.
"Are you planning on joining Gymnastics classes?" Vikram asked in a mocking tone, as Suhana took her next breath, jumping back to earth.
"Huh?" She panted.
"What's up with you and collapsing and playing tumbling monkeys on the floor? Yesterday you collapsed back in the Kitchen, and today here" Vikram mocked.
"Huh--I really don't know......but I do have a plan" Suhana grinned widely.
"Plan?? What plan?"
"Do you have short term memory loss as well? Of course I am talking about the plan we were discussing yesterday night...about Rohit and Megha"
"Oh that one...What's with that?" Vikram walked inside his room, as Suhana walked behind him, following his trails.
"Actually, Harsh had asked me to join the medical camp he had planned for Vrishi village. So...." Suhana started to explain as Vikram interrupted.
"Wait, why is that guy asking you to join his camp?" Vikram turned back, questioningly.
"Of course, he would ask me only, who else would he ask?" Suhana chuckled at Vikram's weird face.

"What do you mean by 'He would ask you only?' " Vikram narrowed his eyes.
"Of course he would ask his intern only, why what's wrong in that?" Suhana stared at Vikram confused.
"Intern? You...You are working in his hospital? He's your mentor?" Vikram asked in a shrill voice.
"Yeah! Well Actually it was someone else till the day before yesterday...But since yesterday... he is my Mentor.
Why? What's wrong with you Vikram? Why are you asking so many questions today?" Suhana's eyes shrieked, confused.
"Nothing, carry on" Vikram looked away rubbing his forehead.
"So I thought of a plan that would actually work..." Suhana dragged as she continued, "Harsh said that he was planning to invite Rohit as well to join us..so I thought why not invite Megha to join the medical camp as well?"
"Is that a medical camp or any 'Relationship mending camp'?" Vikram raised his eyebrows.
"Shut up and listen.
Me and doctors would proceed with the camp in the village , meanwhile let Megha and Rohit..have a conversation or two and try to mend themselves. What do you say?"
"Sounds good..but do you really think Megha would agree to this?"
"Of course she won't. That's where my idea comes in, I am going to ask her to join without leaking any information on Rohit, who is going to join us as well" Suhana grinned.
"What do you mean by---'US'?" Vikram narrowed his eyes on Suhana who was head over heels.
"Means you would be joining us too" Suhana grimaced.
She hadn't planned on telling him midway, as she knew he would definitely refuse to join her to some village and live in a tent.
"Don't even think that I would be accompanying you and my stupid brother " Vikram said sternly.
"Come on Vikram, it's just for 10 days! "
"I said 'No' Suhana, Rohit will be there with you as well as Megha, if your plan works, So go with them and execute your plan along with your 'Mentor'" He emphasized the last word as he moved towards the closet.
"But you won't be there! How will I execute my plan alone?? Come on please please, join us!!" Suhana ran behind him like a puppy.
"Suhana, you are testing my patience, you should leave now"
"Vikram!! Please, please please join us!!" Suhana pulled him back by his shoulder, making him turn back and look at her.
"Suhana!!" Vikram yelled, his voice echoing the entire closet. Shocked, Suhana pulled back her hand from his shoulder.

"What the hell is wrong with you!! Can't you understand if you're told once??
I said leave the hell out of here!" Vikram yelled, his voice so harsh and strong, which would make anyone nervous.
"But Vikram I was just--" Suhana's voice shook on seeing this side of him.
"Know your limits Suhana! Stop trying to be a pathetic wife, and don't ever try to take advantage of being called as my wife. As far as I am concerned you are just a guest in this house. It would be great if you mind your own business!" Suhana was shell-shocked not understanding what was happening that minute.
"I hope you didn't forget what we discussed the other day! You don't interfere with my problems as well as my decisions" He said sternly as his eyes pierced Suhana, as she could feel him stabbing her with his eyes and words.
Suhana stood still with her heartbeat raising every second, from what she had just witnessed.
"I said leave!" This time his voice wasn't loud but, he grit his teeth with annoyance as words slipped out.
Tears which had found a way down her face, splattered on the ground drop by drop. With the next two minutes immersed in utter silence, Suhana turned back to the bed, picked her phone and turned towards the door and paced forward furiously to exit the room as she stopped midway.
Vikram lifted his heavy eyes and gazed at Suhana who had picked up her phone and was about to leave as she stopped on her trails.
Confused, he was staring at her as she came to halt.
All of a sudden Suhana turned back and with her burning red eyes she looked straight into Vikram's eyes.
"You shouldn't always keep pushing away people, who care about you.
Because one day, you won't have anyone else by your side to rely on or to pour your heart out" Suhana said as tears rolled down her eyes, and walked out of the room.
Her tears weren't a symbol of weakness but her strength.
Vikram had no idea when he had lost his patience. For years he has been trying to be calm and handle things softly. But his part of brutality just pops when he can't tolerate certain things.

Vikram got out of his shower and as he entered his closet, he picked up his shirt from the rack.
After wearing his clothing, he walked into his bedroom and stared at the couch.
Suhana has been avoiding him since the past few days. She also convinced everyone into saying that she wanted to stay with Anika in her room for a while.
And as well as avoiding him during breakfast, lunch and dinner as she chose to have her food alone rather than to sit with her 'fake' family.
Drifting away his eyes from the couch, Vikram walked towards his balcony and walked out as he stared down at his healthy greeny garden and somewhere between all those beautiful red rose plants, he located her.
Suhana was digging the soil with a small shovel and placed the small tulsi plant in the soil, concealed it with mud back and sprinkled some water.
His eyes were fixed on her . Her lemon yellow kurti smeared with mud randomly and her long luscious black glossy hair rolled and pulled up into a bun.
"What's up with you two?" Vikram turned away from the window to find Anika and Rohit staring at him.
"Nothing" Vikram shrugged as he moved away from them.
"Oh yeah nothing! We can see that!" Rohit mocked and sat on the couch beside.
"You didn't come downstairs to have breakfast with all of us" Anika questioned.
"I am not hungry" Vikram said blankly as he picked up a file and moved towards the door.
"Vikram why don't you...." Anika opened her mouth as Vikram interrupted, "I have to leave for my office now! I think your talk can wait for me till evening? Thanks "Vikram said abruptly and left the room before the both could interfere.
"Why the hell did he talk to me like that?" Anika opened her mouth, startled.
"He talks to everyone like that" Rohit rolled his eyes and pulled Anika down to sit beside him on the couch.
"I think they both had a fight or something "Anika said muddled, not completely sure.
"I am pretty sure it must have been Vikram's fault" Rohit rolled his eyes again.
"That's...quite predictable !" Anika shrugged as she continued, "Do you think our plan would work?" Anika questioned Rohit.
"Of course, Suha must be thinking that I agreed to join her to the camp..... for a change of mind, for myself...but in reality...."
"We are going to play cupids with her and your stupid brother Vikram" Anika smirked and hifi-ed with him.
"Thank God, she asked me to join her as well, else I don't think you could execute our plan alone" Anika mocked.
"Nice joke, but we do have one more problem" Rohit narrowed his eyes.
"What?"
"Vikram hasn't agreed to join us yet. So let's not dance before our plan gets flopped" Rohit twitched his lips as Anika grimaced.
"Yeah that's quite a problem." Anika shook her head, aware of the consequences ahead.

Naruto Retsuden: Toru
[SI/OC Third Shinobi War]Well fought and well done. All of us fight as one. It took me three years to be able to properly read the faded out kanji of the flimsy poster that I keep in my back pocket. The illustration is colourful, bright reds and yellows. Colours that would definitely catch the attention of a child. The poster was carefully placed along the walls and fences of my village, level with the height of a four year old. I thought enlisting to become a Shinobi was a heroic deed, something I needed to do to save my family from poverty and to serve my country at the cusp of war. Then I graduated early to be deployed to the front lines.I am sadly and sorely mistaken. Warnings:Slow-burnNO OP-NESSRomance? What romance? It'll take at least 40 chapters or more before anything romantic happens.Realistic depictions of War from a child's perspectiveBlood and goreChild SoldiersPTSDRealistic character developmentTragedy.
