"Wait..." Vikram paused, "Have you been dreaming about me lately?"
"What?? Eww No!"
Don't show it off!
Keep cool, keep calm.
Don't let him find it out
"Why would I even dream about you?" I lied flawlessly.
"Then why are you stating fictional incidents?"
"What?" I gaped at him.
"You are having hallucinations? Are you drunk? Or are you bipolar?" Vikram asked honestly worried.
"Shh! If anyone is bipolar, then that's you. I have seen that video by myself. I only deleted it from your..."
"You snuck into my phone?" He raised his eyebrows.
"--I sent that to my phone. So it must be in mine. Wait, now I will prove that you are nothing but a Liar! A big fat Liar!!" I flipped my hair as I diverted the topic.
I grabbed my phone from beside and started to scroll down my gallery to last month when it all happened.
"Well, find a place to go and hide when you can't find the video" He rolled his eyes.
"Haha, that's not needed. Look at this!" I threw my phone at him as I found the video which I had hid in a safe folder last month.
He was staring at the video screen for almost 10 minutes straight with no reaction visible on his clear face.
"This is your proof?" He looked up at me.
"Why? Is it exposing you too much? Well, how many more videos do you have such in your gallery? Well you--"
"Are you really that dumb or you just don't have a brain?" He stared at me.
"What?" I stated numbly as he moved forward and placed the phone in between us and played the clip.
I was lying on the floor as I could hear him bang on the doors which were firmly shut.
And after the next few minutes he started punching hard on the metal roof tops with immense power that within the next few punches the metal roof came off.
"Both your hands are in video which means..."
"-means I didn't take the video " He continued.
Is the pit in the backyard still there?
This time I should just jump inside and close by myself.
"But we were only in that lift--" I paused midway as realisation striked.
"That small girl--"
"That girl had Nyctophobia, if you remember so I had given my phone with the lights on for her so that she doesn't get scared. She must have clicked the video by mistake" He said bluntly.
"So you didn't give me CPR--"
"Neither did I take the video nor did I steal a kiss from you through CPR" He smirked as he lifted the blanket from the bed and found his phone lying underneath.

"I am sorry--" I opened my mouth as he interrupted, "You should have at least seen that video once if you're mind was corrupted with other thoughts" he mocked.
He gave a smug look as he continued, "You really should stop having dirty dreams about me" He smirked as he moved towards the door to leave.
If I could lay my hands on those two idiotic friends of mine, they would be 2 feet below the ground by now.
And I was so stupid to believe all their no-sense theories.
As he almost left the room, he stopped on his trails and turned back.
"And yeah, If the roof hadn't fallen out, I wouldn't have refused to give CPR" He glared at me for just a fraction of a second and soon disappeared out of the room.

"I am getting late mom!!" I yelled as mom rushed in with a box.
"Have your lunch at the right time, okay?" Mom said sternly as I nodded.
"Take care Suha" Dad waved as I dumped the box inside my bag and was about to leave.
"Suha" Mom called, "Yes mom" I turned back as I saw mom fiddling with her saree pallu hesitating to bring up the topic.
"What mom?"
"Suha...It's already a week since you came here...neither Vikram has come after that nor...you have returned back...I-"
"Why? Can't I stay here?" I narrowed my eyes at her.
"What? No, I didn't mean that way. It's just what every mother would be worried about. I just hope...you haven't decided to just stay here..forever" Mom said hesitatingly.
"I won't mom" I kissed her gently as I left.
I had planned yesterday to meet Aisha and Anki and tell them about everything that had happened since last week before I left for hospital.
I badly wanted to talk to someone and discuss about the stupid things I could say with my mouth which has no filter for nonsense.
"What??" Anki screamed as usual in our regular go-to Cafe.
"Yeah, you guys were utter failures with those stupid theories. Though, I shouldn't have reacted that way. So-impulsively, stupidly. Ughh"
I felt like choking on my own coffee thinking about the embarrassing situation and the embarrassing replies I received that day from him.
"That's why you haven't left to his house yet?" Aisha asked.
"Yeah, it's just so--" I put my head up in the air as Anki interrupted, "Hey, Suha. We are so sorry. This whole thing was because of me and Aisha. We--shouldn't have come to our own conclusions. We are truly sor--"
"Ugh come on guys, don't make this even more uncomfortable " I hit my head.
"Yeah but still" She continued as I gave in a stern stare.

"Well, what are you planning to do next?" They both asked.
"Planning not to face him for another eternity. Because he wouldn't stop mocking me and making fun of me for the rest of my life.
Of course he will, well-You both should have seen my stupid face and my never-ending mouth talking about 'How-I-was-going-to-prove-that-he-was-aliar '. Now I feel so guilty for accusing him like a kid for no reason"
"But you had the video...you should have--"
"-atleast watched it once. Well no, I was being such an idiot " I whined.
"Hey Suha, come on. Let bygones be bygones. Don't be so hard on yourself. Let's just hope that he had a memory loss and forgot that whole incident." Aisha winked.
"So now, let's just enjoy this moment, as we are meeting after a week" Aisha tried to cheer us up, though I could see Anki feeling a bit guilty or worse sad for me.
"Hey, It's okay" I placed my hand on hers, ensuring again.
We had our own time that we barely knew how an hour passed by.
And we had to split up to our respective hospitals.
I took a cab to the hospital and reached there within time as I greeted our ever sweet receptionist with a smile and moved to the other interns.
"Suhana " My senior doctor called in as he handed over a field to me.
"Yes doctor?" I glared doubtfully.
"Suhana, can you please hand this over to our Chief Executive "
"Huh-but sir, I am new and I don't know--" I grimaced.
"He will be in the last room on the third floor. It's urgent Suhana" He rushed away as I took the stairs to the third floor.
"Excuse me sir" I called in from outside on reaching the room, as he asked me come in.
"Suhana?" A pair of ocean blue eyes looked into mine while I was struck out of words.
"Harsh?!" I exclaimed, confused.
"What are you doing here?" He asked with confused happiness.
"Well I work as an intern here. What about you?"
What an idiot. Just now my senior doctor informed me.
"Well this is my hospital. I used to work in a different city but since the new wards introduced in this hospital needs some more recognition and improvement, I decided to work here for a while" He smiled.
"That's...That's great" I replied, finding it overwhelming to be working with him, a good friend.
"I didn't know you were a doctor " I smiled sheepishly as I continued, "So is your sister also a doctor?" I questioned.
Zaara? As a doctor? Worst thing I could ever imagine.
"What no! Not in this life for sure" He laughed out, "She is a model. Super-model to be precise"
Over-suspicious supermodel witch.
"And yeah, if you are okay...I can guide you and be your internship supervisor " He offered.
"Huh, no--that's not needed Harsh. It's okay, I will work with others" I denied.
"Yeah but it would be better if you learn alone rather than in a group. Anyways let it be your own choice" He smiled as he went through the file I had handed over.
"Yeah I am okay with it, but just--"
"-don't worry you will just learn things faster than others. Nothing else would be different " He said as I agreed half mindedly.
• • • •
"What are you waiting for?" Harsh's voice out of nowhere startled me as I was waiting for a cab.
"I didn't get a cab, so.."
"Oh well,Don't worry, I will drop you home" He offered.
"It's okay Harsh, I think I might get a cab now" I denied though I couldn't get a sight of an auto or a cab.
"Come on in Suha" he said wearily as I agreed and hopped in.
The drive to home was not so exactly silent as we were constantly sharing conversations.
"And yeah Suhana, after two weeks, I have arranged a medical camp in a village, beyond the woods. You should join us, though only a limited number of doctors would be joining us."
"Beyond the woods?" I grinned widely as he continued.
"Yeah, we have to take a private van or bus so that we could pass the woods to go to the village, as the villagers over there don't have any access to any of the hospitals nearby. It would take 5 to 6 hours to reach."
"Wow that's really great. I would love to join" I immediately agreed.
"That's cool. But one bad news for you though-"
"And what is that?"
"Zaara would be joining us" He grit his teeth waiting for my reaction.
"Well, hope she doesn't push me off any mountains over there, as she really hates me" I laughed out loud.
"She doesn't hate you. It's just that...she's a bit paranoid when it comes to Vikram. She thinks that you both have a thing for each other" He looked away.
"We both? You mean me and Vikram?!" I exclaimed.
"Well she just thinks. I told you she's paranoid. " After giving him enough instructions to my house, the car came to a stop.
"Well, she is just wrong!" I stated blindly, "We don't have thing--"
Well, he's just my forced husband.
"Yeah I know. Morever I am planning to ask Rohit if he is willing to join us." He smiled as I invited him inside my home.
"Yeah look, Suhana's here" Mom called out as I stepped inside.
"Rohit?" I asked stunned while he was glaring at me with a straight face.

A guy reincarnated as a sloth and is too lazy to be a protagonist
Hey, so do you also love a Story about people getting isekai’d into another world into a body of a monster that can evolve? Yea, sucks that most of them are either Harems (honestly, at first I was like "weird flex but okay", but now every fucking story that looks like it could go somewhere just throws the MC a new love interest every 3 chapters or so), or idiots that trust the first human they see to not kill them. Also, is it just me, or do most of them evolve into a human-ish Form way too fast? I mean what is the point of a monster MC if the guy is practically just an overpowered human? Well, after like about 3 years I am kinda running out of good stories, so I'm gonna try to make one myself. It's probably gonna be pretty bad to be honest, but it has no harem so it is already better than 3/4 of novels out there. And I haven't even started yet! But to be serious now: The story is about a pretty lazy guy who reincarnates as a sloth....I haven't really planned more for now... well, good luck to me I guess. Also I am not sure if I want this to have blue screens yet... I mean they look pretty neat but personally I'm kind of sick of them. PS: If you wondered, no I am not the person that took the photo of a sloth with sunglasses...god, that dude must be living the Life...

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
