《HIS REAL LOVER| MAGNIFICENT CENTURY| ✔️》CHAPTER 17

I walked into the harem making the girls in there jump up and bow to me as I passed except one of them who acted like she didn't notice me. I looked behind me at Gihan hatun for an explanation on who this girl who does she think she is to ignore the presence of the prince's wife.
"Ayşe hatun" Gihan yelled making the girl jump and look at us before getting up slowly and bowing.
"Who do you think you are to ignore her highness's presence? Just because you're pregnant from the prince doesn't make you of higher status than her majesty" Gihan scolded and was about to continue but I stopped her by raising my hand.
"I apologize, sultan, I didn't notice" she tried to explain herself.
"So when the girls stopped chatting and fell silent and when the Harem agha announced my presence you still didn't notice?" I asked sarcastically resining my eyebrow at her.
"Sultana-" she started but stopped herself when she didn't find anything to say bowing her head down and looking down at her feet.
"Let's hope you have a smooth birth" I wished her even though I wanted to strangle her right then and there.
"Sultana Fatma hatun locked herself in her room," a maid said running over making my eyes widen and run out of the harem with some of the girls following me, Fatma hasn't been herself lately after her son's death and me giving birth to a son and another pregnancy probably didn't help her situation.
"Call Mustafa" I yelled at Gihan hatun who nodded and ran the other way. When I reached Fatma's room I tried the doors to find them a little loose so I pushed them with all my mighty using my shoulder and after the third try I was able to push them open, what I found inside made me freeze and look at Fatma's hanging corpse and I could the girls scream in terror behind me as some Harem aghas ran in and tried to get her down.

Mustafa ran in a couple of minutes later to find my frozen figure watching in terror as the harem aghas got Fatma's body down from where she hung herself.
"Nasira" Mustafa mumbled stepping in front of me blocking my view of the corpse and hugged me burying my head in his chest, I clutched onto him feeling tears build up in my eyes.
"She didn't deserve to die Mustafa" I mumbled as I broke down in his arms feeling my heartbreak.
Even though I and Fatma didn't get along she still wasn't my enemy and she didn't deserve to die this way. I now understand her pain of losing the man you love to another woman, she had to watch him fall in love with me and I had to watch him have a kid with another woman and both hurt even if he wasn't in love with another woman.
"I know, I know shhh" he mumbled in my hair tightening his hold on my figure as he felt me lose my strength over this tragedy.
Mustafa picked me up bridal style and walk out of the room with one last glance at the pale corpse in the room before he walked into his room and placed me on his couch and sat down beside me, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him letting me cry freely.
"I and she may not have gotten along but she still didn't deserve to die this way" I cried hugging Mustafa closer to me feeling the need to feel him with me.
The doors opened and madam walked in with a blue bundle between her arms, I sat up straight and whipped my tears before opening my arms letting her place Mehmed in them.
"My lion" I muttered kissing his forehead as Mustafa placed a hand on the back of his head and also leaned over to place a kiss on his head.

I sat down beside Mahidevran sultan in the harem wearing all black as the Shekha prayed for Fatma to go to heaven.
I looked down at my lap feeling the sad feeling creep up again into my chest, I took a deep breath to get it to go away remembering what the doctor told me, I can't be sad or I'll lose the milk in my breasts and I won't be able to feed my son and then I'd need someone else to do it for me.
I looked back up and in front of me to see Ayşe sitting there with no care as she fixed her headscarf and started playing sulkily with the end of her hair, she looked at me to find me looking at her with a small glare, she rolled her eyes before looking away to the front.
I couldn't take this anymore this was too much, I got up and bowed to Mahidevran sultan and before anyone could stop me I walked away not looking back at the girls who bowed to me including Ayşe who I could hear from here whining about how she's uncomfortable getting up all the time because of her pregnancy.
Oh for god's sake she's only three months pregnant she's already whining so much what will she do when she's nine months pregnant or when she gives birth.
I walked over to Mustafa's wing time see ChaliChali standing in front of the door, he bowed to me and opened the door letting me in.
"Mustafa," I said shakily earning his attention, he stood up from the bed and walked over pulling me in for a hug.
This was the worst part of my life, first Mustafa cheating on me with another woman and getting her pregnant and now Fatma's death, may Allah have mercy on us and give us a break from all of these hard times.
