"Here we are". I turned to my brother saying. "I like Jimin's place better". Eunhyung scoffs. "Stop saying his name!". I yelled. "Y'all ain't married". Eunhyung yawns. "So... Is the old man dead and gone?". Eunhyung asked. "No". I replied. "Fuck I'm here for then?". Eunhyung says. "Really?". I gave a blank stare. "I'm super serious". Eunhyung said. "But since I'm here, I might as well see him".
"Do you not like pops?". I asked. "I do, I just think... He's so old". Eunhyung shivers. "I... I". I sighed. "Hurry up! I don't want to keep Jimin waiting!". I marched to the door. "You's a bitch!". Eunhyung yells and I flicked him off.
"This chair is mad fucking small, then again...". Eunhyung looks at me. "Suck my dick Eun". I huffed and Eunhyung smiled. "You used to call me that when you were cuter". Eunhyung said. "I'm cute". I scoffed and Eunhyung started laughing. "Ah! That was gold". Eunhyung wipes his tears away. "I'm tired of feeding your friends Yoongi".
"Sup old man". Eunhyung said. "Eu- Eunhyung". Dad stutters. "You're...". "Handsome? Why yes I am". Eunhyung chuckled. "Thank god!". Dad hugs him. "Get off me! I'm getting sick". Eunhyung gags. "Now you know I felt this whole time". I laughed. "Its disgusting, I'm disgusted". Eunhyung said. "What happen to you?". Dad asked. "I can't believe that I didn't ask that". I groaned.
"Well... Long story short, Junseo saved me". Eunhyung said. "And that is the other brother correct?". Dad asked. "Yes". Eunhyung said. "He helped me for a long time til Hiji found out". Eunhyung sighs. "Hiji started to use me for killings and shit like that... I was a dark bastard". Eunhyung nods. "Aren't you still a dark bastard?". I asked. "Huh?". Eunhyung looks at me. "You're right". Eunhyung laughs.

"So... Where's mom?". Eunhyung asked. "I low key wanna annoy her". Eunhyung said. Dad and I looked at each other. "Don't say it". Eunhyung hissed. "She... Died a few years after you". Dad said. "That's bullshit!". Eunhyung shouts. "Eu...". "And here I thought we would kill each other for fun!". Eunhyung bangs his head on the table. "Excuse me, I have to kill something". Eunhyung walks out.
"You get back here right now young man!". Dad yells and goes after him but I grabbed him. "Hmm?". Dad turns to me. "Umm...".
"I'm thinking of proposing to Jimin".

When humans with the ability to control the fundamental particles of the universe with their minds were first discovered, the age of space travel began in earnest. Relativistic travel faster than the speed of light became possible and humanity moved out into the stars. When it was discovered that these Mages could be turned into effective weapons, humanity turned back to its oldest pastime of war. Hundreds of years later as humanity was on the brink of self-destruction, with its taste for war finally beginning to wane, a new organization was created. The Conclave was formed to regulate all Mage’s within the human colonies. While the colonies maintained their independence, the Conclave’s control over access to interstellar travel made them the de facto power amongst humanity. As the old saying goes, ‘Power Corrupts’, and many people were unhappy with the way the Conclave had been leveraging its authority, not the least of which were the Mages they controlled. One unregistered illegal Mage by the name of Tyrial had made it his life's mission to dismantle the Conclave at any cost. After spending decades working towards his goals alone, he realized he would need the aid of willing allies in his crusade. Tyrial would need all the help he could get learning to work with others, dealing with his own dark past, and handling unfamiliar feelings of romantic interest.
