"Bo-bomb sp-spell". I saw Yeon's whole body shaking. "Dad! What do we do!?!". I shouted and my dad had a blank face. "I-I don't know". My dad says. "You what?". I made a fist. "I don't know how to fix this... I never seen a bomb spell like this before". My dad said. "Yoo-Yoongi". Yeon calls out. "I'll help Yeon, don't worry". I told him but I don't know how I was going to.
I didn't know what to do so I called my associates and Minsa over. "Shh, its ok Ye, we got you". Minsa says wiping Yeon's tears away. "So someone put this spell on him?". Ryri asked. "I don't know and we don't have time for this". I told him. "I don't anything about about spells". Ryri said. "Its a Hajumi". Aza said. "Hi who?". I looked at her. "Hajumi, a ancient spell".
"So, how do we get of it?". Minsa asked. "We can't". Aza replied. "Fuck you mean we can't?". Ryri hissed. "Only the person that put it on him can get it off". Aza said. "Oh god". Yeon starts crying again. "Don't cry Ye". Minsa said. "Can't we slow it down or something!?!". I yelled. "Or stop it and burn it off?". Ryri asked. "No... I'm sorry Yeon". Aza says.
"I-I don't wanna die". Yeon hiccups. "You're not going to die". Minsa says. "Min...". "HE'S NOT DYING!". Minsa screamed at Aza. In case y'all haven't figures it out yet, Yeon is Minsa's best friend. "I-I'll call daddy, he knows witches, he can help, daddy can always help". Minsa, with shakey hands, pulls out her phone. "I'm ok Minnie, it probably won't hurt". Yeon said and got slapped.
"You stay out of this!". Minsa says now in tears. "Daddy can help". Minsa says again. "Minnie". Yeon sighs. "Yoongi". Ryri points to Yeon's neck and the spell was at its last spell number. "Minnie! Move!". I shouted. "No!". Minsa yelled. "Got her!". Aza shouted. "No!!! Let me go!". Minsa shouted. "Dad! Hurry!". I yelled. "Right". My dad looks at Yeon before running out.

"I love you guys". Yeon smiles at us. "We love you too man". I said. "Yoongi! Come on man!". Ryri yells at me. "O...". "It was all good, til y'all started crying".
"Haru?". I tilted my head. "You took to long with my food and I came to see what was taking you so long and I see you crying over someone that isn't Jimin... This world". Haru shakes her head walking up to Yeon. "Wait! There's a...". "Bomb spell, I know... I was here". Haru says and pokes the bomb and it disappears. "The hell?". I blink.
"By the way, I took the boxes of those granola bars". Haru said. "Ho-how did you?". Ryri says. "That?". Haru snickers. "I eat weak spells like that for entrees". Haru said. "That spell wasn't ready for me". Haru smiles. "And you are?". Ryri asked. "I'm Haru the witch, Mr. Tomoe". Haru said. "A wit...". "YE!!!". Minsa jumped on him laughing happily.
"I'm ok Minnie". Yeon giggled. "Now we go to your house and get your things and you'll stay with me forever". Minsa giggles. "What?". Yeon looked at her. "Come on!". Minsa dragged Yeon out. "How did...". "That stupid bitch bit my neck!". Aza yelled. "Kinky". Ryri chuckled. "What is wrong with you?". I asked him. "I want Vi". Ryri pouts.
"Yeah... I gotta go now". Haru said. "Thank you Haru". I said and everyone looked at me. "You said thank you? You? The fuckboy". Aza said. "You fuck boys too? Sweet". Haru nods. "What? That's not...". "Bye!". Haru poofs away. "She's... Weird". Ryri said.
"Really weird".

Apparently, the entirety of Earth, its denizens and its matter were transported into the world of the System, planted in 'patches' all throughout the infinite world. The world of the Patchwork System is one of challenges, where life is cheap, power is king, and Classes and levels are a thing. In a brutal world, there is perhaps room for a killer with bloodstained hands to find his own way, free of his past. However, his Title and his inherent nature plague him, his fragmented personality laid bare to those with the eyes to see, and if he doesn't become powerful enough to defeat or escape those who would use or destroy him, he will quickly be devoured by the merciless world created by the System. Compared to my previous work, this is a more 'classic' litrpg setup, with clear (if somewhat complex) progression through levels and skill gains, with a 'system apocalypse' setup. Unlike most system apocalypse story protagonists, Lyam is neither a leader nor is he particularly interested in saving his fellow Earthlings. This is a story of a man who is both endangered and set free by the destruction of his old world, as he finds both power, new discoveries, and adventure in a place where his past matters not at all and power is the only language most speak. Later in the story, there will be harem elements, but the first volume is dedicated to Lyam's first months in the System. For those who are more interested in the Heirs of the Hooded King, I am putting it on hiatus as I rework the setting and future story developments a bit.
