Chase pulls up and parks in front of this massive complex. The front is stone but clearly high-end. I climb out of the Jeep. The apartment itself isn't hard to locate. Fifth floor second apartment. When we knock on the door and are escorted in, I'm shocked at the shire size of the place. It's massive. Way too big for one girl to be living in alone.
The space is cluttered with pullout couches, beds, loveseats, and cots. Kinsey Love is standing at the counter, checking couples in. We approach her and she gives a friendly smile.
"Chase Parker and Abigail Michaels. I requested a pullout couch. Team name Avalanche."
She jots us down in a log book before writing our names on a sticker and handing it to us.
"Hand this to Kelly. She'll tell you where you are."
I try to steal a glance at the sticker, failing miserably.
Chase hands it over to Kelly and she motions us to follow. There are about six other couples here already. Some are preparing for the contest, others are drinking and eating. My eyes land on one person in particular. He's eating a burrito and his partner is looking at him, clearly disgusted.
I don't feel out of place with the attire. I'm dressed in pajama shorts, currently hidden under sweatpants, and a tank top with a t-shirt pulled over it.
Most of the other people in the room are dressed in pajamas. Some skimpy, others full coverage. Chase and Burrito guy are the only ones in jeans and t-shirts.
Kelly stops at a pullout couch in the corner of the room. She slaps the sticker on the arm.
'Team Avalanche: Chase Parker and Abby Michaels'
"The game will start at seven. Settle in and get ready until then and thanks for participating!"

She goes to help another couple. I sit on the couch. I can tell these sheets are either brand new or freshly laundered just by the scent. I move so that I'm against the back and the arm of the couch. Closest to the wall. Safest spot in my opinion.
Chase takes off his shirt and climbs under the thin black sheet. He wiggles around a bit before tossing his jeans on the floor next to his shirt.
I hope he's wearing boxers.
My puzzled expression intrigues him.
"What? Never seen a shirtless guy before?"
In retaliation, I grab the hem of my t-shirt, pulling up to reveal my tank that would more than likely be classified as a camisole in other situations. I lean over him, setting my shirt on the floor. I then proceed to take my pants off, also putting them on the floor. He is anything but discrete as his eyes rake hungrily over my body.
"What? Never seen a girl in pajamas before?"
"Never seen such a beautiful girl in her pajamas before."
Blush travels up to my cheeks and I immediately avoid his gaze.
