Someone bumps into me, making me look up from the paper.

"Oh, sorry."

I recognize the person instantly. It's Chase Parker. We went to high school together, and apparently we are going to college together, too. Why haven't I ran into him in the last two years?

"No. It was my fault. I wasn't paying attention."

"Wait. Abigail?"

"Yes. And you're Chase Parker. We went to high school together. Bam. Done with the awkwardness."

He gives me a genunine laugh.

"You always were straightforward. Glad to see that hasn't changed."

Chase's eyes flicker down to the neon orange form in my hands.

"Got a special someone for The Cuddling Game?"

I'm suddenly embarrassed to be seen holding this paper.

"Oh. No. My boyfriend thinks it's a waste of time."

"But you still want to do it?"

I really have to think about this answer.

"It's a great opportunity for money."

"So that's a yes?"

"Yes."

He nods, letting my answer sink in.

"Well, it was nice bumping into you, Abby."

"You too, Chase."
