I open the door to his house, which is unlocked. It doesn't take me long to find his bedroom. I open the door to find him on his bed, earbuds blasting loud enough in his ears for me to hear. I approach him, standing in front of his face and taking out one of the buds.

"Hey!"

He stiffens when he sees me.

"Cecilia..."

"We need to talk."

He takes out the other earbud, pausing his music.

"I'm so sorry. It wasn't my fault. She came onto me. She knew that you weren't there and wanted me to cheat on you and I was pushing her away and she just kept-"

I put my finger against his lips.

"I heard everything. Your mother told me it all."

"My mother?"

He's baffled by my statement. I pull my finger away from his lips.

"I'm sorry I overreacted. I just saw you at the party kissing her and I got...this weird feeling. Almost like I wanted to rip her face off but it was crushing me at the same time. I know for a fact that I still want to punch her."

"So it's jealousy?"

I think for a moment. I hate her for kissing him. I don't like the idea of sharing Nathaniel with anybody else. I want to cut her hands off for even touching him.

Yes. I'm beyond jealous.

I respond to his question with a fierce kiss. He doesn't push me away. Instead, he opens up and allows me to express my feelings towards him without exchanging any words.
