"Are you enjoying yourself tonight, babe?"

I lean into Nate's body, exhausted.

"I'm ready to go to bed, but I'm having so much fun."

"So you are enjoying yourself?"

"Yes. I just wish the twins didn't exhaust me so much."

He rubs my arm and squeezes lightly.

"I can't wait until they exhaust me, too."

The twins, realizing how relaxed I am, start up their nightly boxing match. My organs and sleep are defeated every time.

"As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to start walking around again. The twins are getting restless!"

"Alright. I have to run out into the hall to make a phone call. I'll be right back."

He sneaks out and I stand up, wandering over to Lilianna.

"Hey Lili!"

"Celia! Having fun?"

"Of course! I'm so glad I came tonight."

"You look exhausted. Are you?"

"A little. The girls are extra restless tonight."

I'm not lying either. I think they are trying to learn an elaborate dance of some kind in there!

I can't wait to pop these girls out and allow the bruises on my organs time to heal!

I'm only joking of course. I know motherhood is going to get a million time harder once the babies are born.

Nate pulls me aside, his lips close to my ear.

"Hey. Ready to go home?"

"And miss all the fun?"

"You're exhausted and need your rest."

I really hate to admit it, but he's right. I need to go home or else I'm going to get cranky.

"Fine. Let me tell Lili."
