I put my truck in park, waiting for Andy to come out. I blow the horn and she comes rushing out. Her clothes are on a little crooked and her hair is a mess. Daniel appears in the doorway as she rushes to my truck. He’s in the same condition. I shake my head and smile and she climbs into the passenger seat. She waves to Daniel before we pull away. Andy starts straightening out her clothes.
“You need to fix your hair too.”
She instantly flips down the visor, using the small mirror to adjust her appearance again. I can’t help but laugh. She playfully punches my arm.
“Hey, you were the one fiddling around.”
“I told Daniel I was going to be late and didn’t have any time but he insisted he would make it quick.”
“La la la la la la!!! I don’t want to hear that!”
She blushes before thankfully changing the subject.
“When are you moving back in with Gavin?”
This question requires a few seconds for me to think. If I don’t go back there to live then I’ll at least have to go back and get my stuff. If I don’t go back today to get money then I won’t be able to stay at the motel anymore.
“I don’t know if I’m going to.”
“He’s worried about you. You still haven’t texted him back and he would be filing a missing person’s report if I didn’t tell him you’re safe!”
I shrink back a little at her words. I feel horrible for not messaging him but I don’t know what to say.
“At least tell him you’re safe. He’ll be happier if he heard it from you as opposed to hearing it from me.”
“Okay. I’ll do it later.”

“You’re doing it when we get to the appointment.”
I can tell by the tone she’s using that it’s a direct order. I don’t have any room to negotiate with her. The rest of the ride is silent except for the sound of the radio. When I pull into the parking lot of the doctor’s office, Andy turns to look at me.
“Text him. Now.”
I pull my phone out of the cup holder, pulling up Gavin’s messages.
Skye: Just wanted to let you know that I’m safe
I don’t bother waiting for a response before shutting off the screen and looking at Andy.
“Happy?”
“Yes.”

However, there are a few moments that may be traumatizing to some people. As for the gore, it shows up fairly often but not extensively. I've always loved violence in movies and books, (The Boys, Banshee, Kingdom of heaven, Vikings, etc.) I am descriptive of the scenes with gore. So be warned :) I have multiple MC and as a nooby writer, I've had a harder time writing from a female POV. Just a heads up. Don't kill me if I make the woman in my book seem weird. Your average Reborn Game System story, similar to The Gamer and Solo Leveling. Written for fun rather than novilization like the others, so it is smaller and less intense. It is set in an AU Warhammer based on a slightly modified version of Warhammer Fantasy's End Times.. So you might notice names and events but don't expect it all to go the same way. And the Main Character is not the only Player in this game~ I'm kind of a catastrophe when it comes to ethic and drive. So don't be alarmed if there isnt an update for a week or three. Or if there is three updates at once. It's a rewrite of the Rehammer that is around, which means the start is mostly the same with some small changes. Chapter 15 is the first fully new chapter of the book. though Chapter 14 has a large addition. You effectively can skip to that and not missing anything major if you read the old one, if you don't wanna rewrite.

Magic and fantastical beasts run wild on the countless worlds of the Fabric. Deities take an active interest in the Fabric. The Favoured, immortal mages of immense power vie for territory and power in the Fabric. Umbra a naive ward of the Duke is almost Grown and that means she will need to take an apprenticeship. The issue is she isn't good at anything, but she catches the eye of a master of magic, he thinks she might be one of the fabled Protectors the ones that would save them from the coming destruction. But Umbra isn't the hero everyone wants her to be. Updates will at least one chapter every two days. Notable Location Poliagoras. Poliagoras is the most important world in the Fabric partly due to it being the centre of everything both literally and metaphorically. Trade, commerce, travel, and politics are all conducted primarily on Poliagoras, it has the biggest city in the fabric stretching to cover almost the entire world. It also holds all the known Great portals in the Fabric which are the only way to travel to other worlds. Even without these things, Poliagoras would still be the most important world in the Fabric as it is home to the largest population of Favoured. They were mages chosen by the Deities and given the potential to become more than mortal. I cannot overstate how appreciated constructive criticism is. This is the first story I have written of my own volition so even a small comment on how I could improve would be great. The current title is most definitely a working one. I know it isn't great.
