"Come on Ry don't be a pussy." Calum says chuckling with beer in his hand.

"I am not a pussy." I scoff sipping from my own strawberry alcoholic beverage.

It's been two weeks since the boys have been on break from tour. While they are all out promoting their album in L.A. I've decided to lounge out and about on the beach with Calum and Luke.

"Ry, just do it!" Luke laughs.

"You do it." I retaliate.

"No way!"

"Hmm." I smile. "Who's the pussy now."

"Still you." Calum whispers under his breath.

That's it. I am not a pussy. I know how to live on the edge. I'll show them.

I stood up handing my drink to Luke while making my way towards the 16 maybe 17 year old pubescent high school boys. Calum and Luke dared me to go get their number because apparently we're still twelve years old and play truth or dare.

"H-hi.." I stutter approaching the fairly tall brunette and blonde.

They both eye me up and down and stare at me like I have five heads. Oh great they must think I'm a complete idiot.

"Yes?" The blonde questions raising an eyebrow.

"Okay listen." I start to whisper. "Yeah see my friends over there." I point to Calum and Luke.

"Well they're sexually confused and would really appreciate if you guys could cover up because well they're basically combusting out of their pants staring at you." I smile and give a little wave towards Calum and Luke, they kindly return the gesture looking even creepier.

"Ew, what the fuck is their problem." One of the boys scoffed while throwing a tshirt over his head. They both walk away with disgust while I'm left laughing so hard that I'm about to collapse.

"Ry, you okay?" Calum asks approaching me.

"Yeah- yeah I'm so okay." I take a deep breath and collect my composure.

"So did you get their numbers?" Luke asks joining us.

"No, they weren't interested." I blandly say.

"Damn if I saw someone like you approaching me asking for my number I would be... never mind." Calum says clearing his throat.

I squint my eyes and give him a confused glare. I kinda wanted him to finish his sentence.

"I think Calum was trying to say you give him an automatic boner."

"Do not!" Calum said blushing and placing his hand over his front.

"Oh my god." Luke begins to laugh. "Dude I was kidding." Luke is now nearly bent over laughing his ass off.

"Cal's hiding his boner." Luke spits out in between laughter.

My face is probably as red as Calum's right now. I mean I'm flattered but it's actually a little awkward knowing that I caused that.

"Oh shutup Luke, I didn't cause that." I say tilting my head towards Calum squinting a little bit because of the sun. "Right Cal?"

"Uhh.. yeah sorry Ry, you're bikini is just so uh."

"Sexy."

All our heads turn in the direction of that voice. Out of no where here comes Liam and Harry walking down the boardwalk towards Calum, Luke, and I.

"Hey!" I exclaim excitingly practically jumping into Harry's arms.

"Missed you too." he said as I could feel his chest rise up and down from chuckling lightly.

"Now which one of you called my amazingly hot, sex crazed girlfriend sexy?" Harry questions the boys with a smirk.

"It was him." Calum and Luke say at the same time pointing at each other.

Harry just breaks into laughter as the two frantic boys stare at him in confusion. I'm pretty sure they both thought they were gonna get their asses beat.

"I'm only teasing boys. I know she's sexy but unfortunately for you fellas she's mine." His hand glides down my back giving my bum a slight squeeze making me hit him in the arm.

"Oh come on I know you love it." He whispers against my skin.

It's true I do love it. but I can't help but feel awkward showing affection in public around other people.

"Alright, so what do you guys wanna do?" Liam says breaking the silence. Calum makes eye contact with me looking a little less flushed then minuets ago. maybe his boner calmed down a little bit. I look away from Calum to look at Luke who seems to already being staring at me. He grabs his junk and bites his lip flashing me a wink.

I open my jaw wide and stare back at Harry who is clearly to distracted by staring at my ass. I'm kinda glad he didn't see that or else there would have been a huge fight I'm sure.

"How about ice cream? Liam says since no one answered cause they all seem to busy staring at me. Which in all honesty I have no clue why, I'm nothing special.

"Uh yeah sounds great Liam." I decide to speak up and answer.

"Okay well I know this really good place just up the boardwalk. They claim to have the best ice cream in Cali."

"Liam every ice cream place claims that they're the best." Harry laughs grabbing a hold of my hand for the first time today.

"No, no honest! It's the best." Liam argues back like a child.

"Alright" Harry just chuckles before we approach the doors to the cute small ice cream shop. "You coming in?."

"Yeah just give me a sec." I weakly smile at Harry before he turns inside followed by Calum and Liam. Right as Luke walks inside I grab his wrist and pull him off to the side.

"What was that?" I nearly shout.

"What?" He innocently asks.

"Back there. You- you winked at me and grabbed your-"

"I know."

"But why."

"Listen Ry." Luke says licking his lips. "Harry's good for you." he takes a step closer so now I can feel his body heat radiating off of him. "But I want you to think about what's good." he takes me hand and places it on his front smiling. "for you. get it?"

"Luke!" I shout a little loud and back away. "Listen here I'm flattered and all but stop Harry is your friend why are you doing this?"

"You're hot."

"No, Luke this isn't you." I shake my head back in fourth. Over the break I've been hanging out with Calum and Luke a lot since the boys have been promoting their album and not once has Luke show affection towards me. I mean once and a while Calum would steal a glance at my ass but I don't see him as a threat I see him more as a crush.

"I'm sorry. I'll stop." he nervously smiles. "friends?." He reached his hand towards me and I just stare down at it debating on whether I should shake it or not. " Come on" he smiles further..

"Fine but no funny business and I mean it" I sternly say shaking his hand.

"No funny business." he smiles wider ear to ear.

"Hey babe!" Harry shouts handing me chocolates ice cram with chocolate sprinkles, my fave.

"Thanks" I smile. I can't help to still feel awkward and paranoid around Luke.

"What were you and Luke talking about?" he questions raising his eyebrows.

"Nothing important." I flash him a cheeky smile so it's more believable. I may have made it a little too obvious because he's staring at me like I'm insane.

"Well alright.."

"Alright."

"You sure?"

"What? You don't trust me?" I argue back.

"No..no babe." He says placing his hands on either side of me. "It's not that I don't trust you, I don't trust everyone else." He whispers looking around the room to make sure no one is listening. I smile in return and give him a sweet kiss on the cheek.

"Well, there's nothing to worry about okay? I promise."

"Okay." he says flashing his pearly white teeth. "I love you."

"I love you too."
