"Why are you always leaving?" Timmy whined, wrapping his arms around my waist to try and stop me from leaving.

"I have a life to attend to" I laugh, cupping his face in my hands and planting a kiss on his lips. "Thank you for last night" I speak softly.

"We should totally do it again sometime" he winks as I laugh at him. "Or we could just do it now" he suggests leaning in.

I lean back further so his lips can't touch mine and I slip away from his grip. "As much as I wish we could, I'm going to be late to my shoot if I don't get going"

He groans as I open the door and plant one more kiss on his lips before walking down the hall and into the elevator.

As I watch as the beautiful girl slip into the elevator, reality sets in.

I just took her virginity

She trusted me enough to be the one to take it from her, yet I'm the complete opposite of trustworthy. I'm a cheater. I'm a scumbag. I'm a fucking idiot.

My mind begins to pace as well as my body. I try to take deep breaths to slow down my mind as I tangle my hands in my hair.

I practice what I'm going to say over and over in my mind until there's a knock at my door. I open it only to find a very happy Lily.

She won't be happy after this conversation

"We have to stop this" I blurt out, no introduction needed.

She looked at me with furrowed eyebrows. "No we don't?" She speaks but it sounds more like a question.

"Mhm yes we do" I nod persistently. "This shouldn't have even started in the first place"

"Well it did start and you let it" she snaps back defensively. "Don't be selfish Timmy" she focuses her eyes out to the city.

I roll my eyes and try to control my anger. "There it is, the manipulation" I say throwing my hands up.

She looks at me as if I've offended her with the truth. "Fine if you want it to stop it can stop" she says, turning her body towards me. "I'll just have to tell every news outlet that your a cheater"

I shake my head. "Lily cut the bullshit"

"No Timmy, you want to see manipulation? I'll give you manipulation" she smirks at me knowing she won.

My heart sinks down into my chest as I know that this is a battle I won't win. I can't afford for Lily to tell the world that I'm a cheater and she knows it. My career will be ruined.

I lay on my couch, staring up at the ceiling as I fight the urge to cry. I continue to betray Adeline's trust with every time I see Lily.

After our rough conversation, Lily left to let me 'think about my decision" even though she knows what my 'decision' is.

I hear a soft knock on my door, raising confusion in my mind. My heart speeds up, praying that it's not Lily standing at my door.

I get up and make me way to the door. I swing it open to reveal Adeline and a cat.

Adeline's cheeks are flushed right red from the cold and her hands are shivering as she holds the small animal on her arms. "I found a kitten" she breaths out, looking up at me with her round eyes.

"You found a kitten" I repeat her sentence with a laugh, looking at the white and grey fluff ball in her arms.

She nods, while her teeth slightly chatter together. "He was in an alleyway and it took me an hour to get him to come to me" she explains. "Can he stay here?" She asks with hopeful eyes.

"Absolutely not" I say, refusing the idea of having to care for an animal, much less a kitten.

"Timmy please" she begs as she follows me into my living room. "I can't have him in my dorm I'll get in so much trouble" she whines like a child.

"Adeline who's going to take care of it?" I ask with raised eyebrows as she cradles the kitten.

"Him, it's a him" she scowls. "And i will, I'm here practically every day" she argues. "All we have to do is get it some food and a litter box and maybe some toys" she tries to convince me.

I look into her pleading eyes as she still shakes from being in cold for so long. "Pleaseeeee" she drags out, hugging the animal closer to her.

"Fine" I breathe out as she cheers in excitement.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She screams running up to me and planting a kiss on my lips.

"Adeline your lips are freezing" I laugh at the cold sensation that she left on my mouth. She shrugs slightly as she sets the cat down and watches it as it sniffs around.

"It is kind of cute" I give in, earning a smile from her.

"Can we name him Berlioz?" She asks earning a confused look from me. "Like from the aristocats movie" she explains.

I laugh at suggestion and wrap my arms around her. "We can name him whatever you want" I smile down at her.

"Berlioz it is" she grins. "Now let's get to the store before Berlioz starves"
