Timothée and I walk hand in hand down the street, earning some stares from a few girls here and there.
Timothée and I never really 'officially' announced our relationship, just because it wasn't really anyone's business.
We don't hide our relationship, obviously, but we haven't made it extremely public either. People are going to find out no matter what, it's just a matter of when.
We enter Timothée's building, our hands still intertwined. We just got back from a little dinner date that we had after my photo shoot and now we're going to hang out for the rest of the night.
At dinner, Timothée had mentioned that the Hammers, Armie and Elizabeth, are coming into town in a few days and are begging to meet me. Which makes me nervous. I'm sure it'll be fine but I'm always scared about first impressions.
"What are you thinking about" Timothée asks as we enter the elevator, smiling warmly down at me.
"Meeting Armie and Elizabeth" I say honestly. "What if they hate me?"
He laughs at my absurd question. "They already love you, plus it takes a lot for the Hammers to hate someone"
"I know but I worry I'll be more...boring than they thought" I ponder, looking for the right words.
"Well you have a few days to worry about that" he says trying to get my mind off of it. "Let's enjoy tonight" he says towering over me as my back is pushed against the wall of the elevator.

He leans down and plants a kiss on my lips as the elevator dings, alerting us that we are to his floor.
We couldn't even make it all the way into his apartment until I was in his arms and we were making our way to the couch. Our lips moved in sync as our desperation for each other grew.
There was a sexual tension hanging over us all night, and we are finally releasing it. I don't know if tonight is going to be the night though, considering Timothée still isn't aware of my lack of experience.
He lays me down on the couch as he hovers over me, my hands are now tangled in this hair as his hands are roaming my body.
I tug a little harder at his hair, causing a low moan to slip from his mouth and my heart literally stops.
That was the hottest thing I've ever heard
Timothée breaks our kiss to slide my shirt over my head, leaving me in my bralette. I quickly become self conscious seeing as this is the most exposed I've been to him.
My fears are washed away as he kisses down my stomach, leaving marks here and there.
Just as I was about to slip Timothée's shirt above his head my phone begins to obnoxiously ring in the back pocket of my jeans.
"Fuck" I mutter taking it out of my pocket and reading the name of the caller.
Mom
I stare at the name for a while deciding if I should answer it. "Answer, you don't talk to her much" he said as if he read my mind.
He's right I don't talk to my mom that much. She's always too busy. When we do talk it's small and casual. Last time we spoke I told her about Timothée and she seemed excited for me.

I slide my finger across my phone and put it up to my ear. Timothée sits back so he isn't on top of me anymore.
"Hello?" I answer the call, sitting up and looking for my shirt.
"Hey sweetie, how are you doing?" She asks, the smile evident in her voice.
I smile, knowing that she's smiling. "Good, Timothée and I just got back from dinner. How are you" I continue the conversation, slipping my shirt back over my head.
"I'm doing good. I won't hold you for too long but I have to come into New York for a new case that I'm on for a few days and I would like to see you" she speaks quickly but calmly.
I don't know if I should be happy or not. "Yea okay that sounds good" I fake an excited response.
"Okay, well I've got to get back to work I love you" she says with a sigh.
"Bye love you" and with that I end the call.
I plop back onto the couch with a dramatic sigh. "She's coming into town and wants to see me"
"Why is that a bad thing" he asks, running this tips of his fingers up and down my legs that were rested in his lap, sending shivers through my body.
"It's not technically a bad thing. We've just never been super close, our relationship has always been so bland" I begin to explain. "After my dad died she put her whole life into work, and considering he died when I was 3, she's been a workaholic my whole life"
"Your dad died?" The boy in front of me asks, clearly surprised.
"Yea, he was extremely depressed and heavily addicted to drugs and one day he decided he didn't want to live anymore and he overdosed. He only left a note for me" I say staring at my hands. "I know that it kills my mom that she didn't get a note"
"Wow Adeline I'm so sorry I didn't-" Timothée begins to sympathize for me but I cut him off.
"Don't pity me. I can barely remember him anyways" I shake my head bitterly. "It's always just been me and my mom"
Timothée studies me for a little longer and decides to drop the subject, knowing that I don't want to speak further upon it.
The topic of my dad always makes me squirm a little bit. I wish I could be mad at him but I can't be. I can't hate him because the very few things I remember about he are good things.
We would go on walks and play with dolls. To this day, if my mom had never told me about his depression and addiction I would've never guessed or known. Sometimes I wish she wouldn't have told me but of course I was a curious child and I demanded an answer as to why I was the weird kid in school who didn't have a dad.
"Adeline you can talk to me" Timothée says, resting his hand on my knee.
I shake my head again. "I know but I don't feel like talking about it. Not right now" I whisper back.
