A month later.....

It's been a month since Tae started his university life and so far everything is going really well. Currently Tae is walking through the corridors of his department towards his class from the presentation room with a happy smile playing on his lips. He is really happy and thinking about calling his husband to share his happiness with the man of his life.

Well the thing that happened is that a intra department photography competition is happening in their department and students of all years are allowed to participate. So Tae had also participated in that competition. Today was the first round of the competition and Tae cleared it. Actually not only did he qualify for the next round but also the teachers really praised his photos. One of the teachers even said that he has a natural talent when it comes to taking photos. And that's the reason why he is so happy.

Tae was going to take his phone out when,

"Hey Newbie!"

He heard a voice behind him. He turned back only to see a beautiful girl with brown hair and dressed in a designer dress standing there. He recognized the girl as Lee Minju, a senior student of his department. She was also a participant in the competition but couldn't clear the first round. She was accompanied by two more girls.

Lee Minju is exactly the kind of a person whom you call a spoiled brat. Belonging to a rich business family, she is both spoilt and haughty and her good looks only adds more to her proud nature. Though a photography major, unfortunately she is not much of a talent when it comes to photography. Actually she couldn't even clear the university entrance test but was able to get into the university because her father pulled some strings. She didn't choose photography because she has passion for it, rather she chose it because she thought it's cool to be called a photography major. She has participated in the competition out of a whim. But couldn't clear the first round because her photos are not up to the mark. The teachers were really annoyed seeing the poor quality of the photos and one of them, the one who said that Tae has a real talent in photography, told her that she should try and learn from Tae because his photos were too good for a first year student. And not to mention that really enraged her for she already didn't like the golden haired boy because of his beauty and how everyone seems to be smitten by him. So when she spotted Tae alone, she decided to have a word with him, to let him know who is the superior here.

"Hey Newbie" she called Tae.

Turning back , "me?" Tae asked, pointing to himself.

"Yeah you, who else is here except for you?" One of Minju's minions snapped.

"Oh okay" Tae nodded.

"What's your name?" This time Minju asked.

"Jeon Taehyung" Tae replied.

"Yiah what's with that attitude of yours?" Minju's other minion snapped this time, "don't you know we are your senior? Didn't anyone teach you how to talk with your sunbae? Come on, introduce yourself properly" she said.

Now Tae has started feeling irritated at how they are talking with him. He knows what they are trying to do, that is bullying him. He can very well show them their places. But he didn't want to engage in any kind of fights and ruin his mood. All he wants to do right is to call Jungkook and tell him about the competition. So he decided to do as they asked so that they'll let him go.

"Annyeonghaseyo sunbaenim I'm Jeon Taehyung from first year photography major" he said with a bow.

"Hmm that's good, that's how you should introduce yourself to your seniors. Always know who is superior here" Minju said with a smirk.

"Okay sunbaenim" Tae nodded, "now may I please go?" He asked not wanting to stay there anymore.

"Looks like you're in too much hurry to go from here" again one of the minions of Minju said, "isn't it a free period for the first year, then why are you in such a hurry?" She asked.

"Umm… sunbaenim I need to make a call, that's why" Tae replied.

"Oh so you need to make a call, like an urgent call, huh? Who are you going to call, your girlfriend?" Minju mockingly asked.

"Or is it the handsome hunk who dropped you this morning?" Her minion added, "by the way, who is that hottie, I have often seen him coming to drop you and take you back?" She curiously asked.

Now I think you all know who is the handsome hunk that girl asked about, who else but Tae's husband, his handsome bunny Jungkook. This morning Tae had woken up late and was panicking because he thought he would be late for university. That's why Jungkook dropped him at the university, not wanting him to drive in his panicked state. And that girl must have seen him then.

Tae frowned hearing her words, he did not like how she was asking about Jungkook, his possessive side started surfacing.

"He is My Husband" he replied in a firm tone.

"Wha... what! Your Husband! That hottie is your husband, really? What a waste!" The girl mocked and the trio burst into laughter as if he said some joke.

Tae's frown deepened hearing her words and seeing their laughter. "Why are you laughing like that? What's so funny about it?" He asked, glaring at the trio though he kinda has an idea why they are laughing and it made him angry.

"Oho look at you glaring at us! Did you already forgot what we taught you some time back, how you should behave with your superiors, you little fag?" Minju scorned, making Tae even more angry.

"Excuse me ho…." Tae was cut between his speech when Minju suddenly said, "hey what's that on your neck?"

"M..my neck" Tae stuttered a little hearing her question thinking maybe she could see the marks on his neck that his husband left there the previous night. But he had already covered them, he clearly remembered. So what is that girl talking about, he thought. "What's on my neck?" He asked.

"This" Minju said as her hand went to Tae's neck and she held the chain of the necklace that Tae always wears, Jungkook's Valentine's gift. Tae never parts it from himself as it makes him feel that Jungkook is always with him. To Tae, it symbolizes Jungkook's love.

As Tae was wearing a round neck t-shirt, the chain can be seen and it caught Minju's eyes. She pulled it out and her eyes shone in greed seeing the beautiful pendant.

"That's so beautiful" one of her minions blurted out.

"Yeah it is" Minju agreed.

"Hey what are you doing! Leave my necklace" Tae said irritatedly. He doesn't like anyone touching his precious necklace.

"No, I want this, give it to me." Minju demanded.

"Excuse me! What do you mean by that, this is mine, why would I give it to you" Tae angrily asked.

"You will give it to me because I like it and I want it." Minju told him.

"No, I won't," Tae replied, holding the other side of the chain and trying to pull it out of her hand.

"Yes you will, I'm your superior and you have to give it because I want it" Minju stubbornly said, tightening her grip on the chain. So now both are pulling the chain.

"No, never, I'll never give it to you or anyone," Tae declared, still trying to pry the chain out of Minju's hand who too kept pulling it.

"Hey I heard that you are really rich, but look at you fighting for a mere necklace" one of the Minju's minions taunted.

"How dare you call my necklace mere? This is not a mere necklace" Tae said angrily, "this My Kookie's gift" he voice softened towards the end.

Minju gave the chain a hard pull, making Tae panicked about the delicate chain breaking, as she mocked, "oh it's a gift from your Kookie? By the way who is this Kookie? Ah I got it, it must be that fag husband of yours"

And that was the last straw as the very next moment Tae pushed her hard making her fall on the hard floor scratching her elbow, "How Dare You Curse At My Kookie" he angrily shouted ready to charge on her when,

"What's happening here?" An angry voice asked.

They all looked at the source of voice only to find their professor, the head of their department walking angrily towards them.

Minju and her minions immediately changed their expressions from angry to scared as one of her minions said, "thank God professor you came, this boy here, he pushed Minju. See professor poor Minju got hurt, her elbow is scratched" she complained.

"And why did he do so? What did you guys do to him?" The professor asked as Minju and her gang are known troublemakers. He turned to Tae, "Jeon Taehyung, why did you push her?" He asked Tae. "Professor, she, they, they were…" before Tae could complete his words,

"We didn't do anything, professor." Minju cut him between his speech, "You know right how professor Han told me that this boy is really good at photography and I should learn from him, that's why I came to talk to him but he didn't listen to me, acted rude and then pushed me" she said acting as a victim.

Tae was dumbstruck hearing Minju's words, how cleverly she accused him while she and her friends were the one who were bullying him.

"No professor, I didn't….." Tae tried to defend himself but,

"Lee Minju and Jeon Taehyung, you two follow me right now" the professor ordered and started walking towards his office.

Once inside his office, the professor went to his chair and sitting on it started searching through his files, "unacceptable, fighting inside the campus, raising hand on senior student that too on a girl, this is totally unacceptable. Students nowadays have no discipline and respect for others." He said shaking his head as he finally found the file he was looking for and started looking through it, "I didn't expect this from you Jeon Taehyung" he said raising his head and looking at Tae and then turned his eyes to Minju, "and you Minju don't you have anything else to do except for looking for troubles" he said.

"Professor, I told you I have no fault in this. He is the one who pushed me" she argued pointing her finger at Tae who was ready to retort back when their professor scolded them, "shut up! You know what I need to have a word with your guardians. I'm calling them."

"Lee Minju's guardian" he said looking at the file, "here it is, father Lee HanSu '' he again turned a few pages, "and here is Jeon Taehyung's guardian, husband Jeon Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook!" The professor looked at Tae,"so you are the husband of that famous SNU topper Jeon Jungkook whom professor Nam of business studies can't stop praising. Apparently he was a model student." he said, "so, your husband was a model student and you, you are here misbehaving and fighting with your seniors that too with girls, how disappointing" he shook his head as he got hold of the phone.

Tae who till then was standing with his head held high, lowered it hearing the professor's words. The last thing wanted was people looking down at his husband because of him, people pointing their fingers at and insulting Jungkook. His heart felt heavy as he felt guilty and disappointed at himself. He stood there with his head hung low waiting for his husband.

Nearly twenty minutes later a worried Jungkook reached the university. He has gotten a call from Tae's professor asking him to come there as Tae had engaged in a fight and raised his hand on a senior student, that too on a girl and he is really worried after hearing that. Knowing Tae, he isn't the kind of a person who would engage in unnecessary fights or raise hand on girls, it can only happen if he is really angry because that's when he loses it all. And Jungkook is worried about what must have happened that made Tae so angry and also what if Tae got hurt.

Jungkook reached the photography department and asked a student where the HoD's office is. The student pointed to a particular room. Thanking him Jungkook went to that room and knocked,

"May I come in professor?" He asked.

Tae snapped his head to the door hearing Jungkook's voice.

"Yes, come in" the professor replied.

Jungkook entered the room and walked to the professor's table. As he was passing by his eyes fell on Tae and his eyes hardened at the sight.

Tae bit his lower lip and again lowered his head as he noticed the hard look in Jungkook's eyes.

"He is mad at me" he sadly thought.

Jungkook stood in front of the professor, "hello professor I'm Jeon Jungkook, Jeon Taehyung's guardian. I got a call from here" he said.

"Yes Mr Jeon, I'm the one who called. Please take a seat, I need to discuss something about Taehyung with you."

"Yes, professor , please tell me what you want to talk about," Jungkook said, taking a seat on one of the chairs.

"Well you see Mr Jeon, Taehyung is really a good student. He has a natural talent when it comes to taking photos and today at the competition everyone liked and praised his photos very much" the professor said and a proud smile came on Jungkook's lips hearing about it. But soon that smile changed into a frown as the professor continued, "but what he did today is totally unacceptable. He behaved rude with the seniors, raised his hand on a senior that too a girl. I myself saw him pushing Minju. This kind of behavior is not acceptable here. He is a student here and he should behave accordingly." The professor told Jungkook.

Jungkook turned his eyes towards the Minju girl as the professor mentioned her name, only to find her smirking but she soon changed her expression into a sad one as he noticed Jungkook looking at her.

Jungkook again turned his eyes to the professor as he asked, "professor, did you ask him why he did it, pushed her?"

"Minju said that she was trying to talk to him because professor Han suggested that she should learn how to take good photos from him but he started behaving rudely with her and pushed her" the professor answered.

"Did you ask Taehyung why he did so?" Jungkook sternly asked. From the professor's words, it was clear to him that Tae didn't say why he pushed the girl. And seeing how that girl was smirking, Jungkook was sure that she must have done something to ride Tae up.

"Ah.. well…" the professor fumbled a little hearing Jungkook's question and seeing his stern expression because he really didn't ask Tae what exactly happened or gave him a chance to explain his side of the story.

"You didn't ask him, right professor?" Jungkook again said with the same stern expression.

"We can ask him now" the professor proposed as he realized his fault, "he can tell us what exactly happened till Minju's guardian reaches here" he said.

"No, before he says anything I would like to talk to him personally, in private" Jungkook said.

"But…" the professor was going to oppose him when Jungkook cut him in the middle of his speech, "please professor" he said, his expression still stern, "as his guardian I think I have the right to know what happened first. So please excuse us for some minutes. We will be back soon." He said with finality.

There was something in Jungkook's voice and the way he was looking so sternly at him that the professor couldn't deny anymore. So he agreed to let Jungkook take Tae with him, "okay but don't take much time, Minju's guardian will be here soon" he said.

" Thank you professor, we will be back soon." Jungkook said as he got up from his chair. He went to Tae and held his hand, "come with me" he said as he exited the room taking Tae with him.

Holding Tae's hand, Jungkook walked through the long corridors of the SNU. All the while Tae was following him with his eyes downcasted, he had no idea where Jungkook was taking him. He only raised his head and looked at the surroundings as he heard a female voice calling his husband's name.

"Oh aren't you Jeon Jungkook?" The voice said.

Tae noticed a middle aged woman in nurse's dress talking to Jungkook and that's when he realized that they were at the medical room.

"Yes sister Na, I'm Jungkook" Jungkook replied with a little smile.

"Oh dear, how are you?" Sister Na asked.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking, Sister" Jungkook answered, "how are you?"

"I'm also fine dear" Sister Na smiled, "who is this cute boy with you Jungkook?" She inquired.

"He is Taehyung, my husband. He is a student here" Jungkook told her.

"Oh I see, but what are you two doing here in the medical room? Do you need anything dear?" She asked.

"Yes sister, can you please get me the first aid kit" Jungkook requested.

"Yes sure. Please come with me" sister Na took the couple inside the room where four beds were kept and took out the first aid kit from a cabinet. She handed the box to Jungkook, "do you want me to do it dear?" She kindly asked.

"No Sister, thanks for offering your help but I'll do it." Jungkook replied.

"Okay I you say. I'll be in my office. Call me if you need anything" Sister Na said and left the room, giving the couple some privacy.

All the while Tae was nothing but a silent spectator. He felt puzzled as he had no idea what's happening, why Jungkook brought him there and what he would do with the medical box.

Jungkook made Tae sit on one of the beds and placing the first aid box beside him, started to look through it, searching for the things he needed.

Tae stared at Jungkook who was taking some things out of the box, antiseptic lotion, cotton, cream and band-aids.

"Kookie" Tae called in a small voice.

"Hmm" Jungkook hummed, placing the things on the bed, still not looking at Tae.

"Won't you ask me what happened? Why did I push her?" Tae asked.

"No" came the reply from Jungkook.

"Why?" Tae again asked in a small voice, "are you angry at me?" His voice cracked a little towards the end. Tae thought that Jungkook wasn't looking at him because he was angry and this thought broke his little heart, bringing tears in his eyes.

Jungkook sighed as he finally looked at Tae who was looking at him with a guilty face, his eyes brimming with tears. He cupped Tae's face and with his thumbs gently wiped the few tears that left his Love's pretty eyes. He felt a squeeze in his heart seeing the boy like that.
