《You Enlighten My World ( Taekook ff )》Part 112

After Jin called Tae, the couple got their luggage and walked out of the airport. Hailing a taxi they left for their home.
It's a quarter past one when they reached home. As they entered the apartment,
"Home sweet home, we are back" Tae declared in a happy voice making Jungkook coo at his cuteness. Rushing into the living room, Tae went and slumped himself on the couch.
"Ahh.. I missed this. I missed my home" he told Jungkook who followed him into the room.
"Really baby! But thought you loved Venice" Jungkook said as he sat beside Tae who Immediately laid on the couch with his head on his husband's lap.
"Yeah I did, I loved Venice because it's so beautiful. But this is my home and obviously nothing compares to it. I love my home the most" Tae said looking up at Jungkook's face.
Jungkook smiled fondly at the boy lying on his lap. Bending over he placed a chaste kiss on his husband's plump lips, "And I love my baby the most" he said, making Tae giggle. Before he could raise his head, Tae circled his hands around his neck and gave him a smooch, "And I love my bunny more than most" he declared. Jungkook smiled like a happy bunny hearing it. Raising his head, he started running his fingers through his husband's soft locks and gently massaged his head. Tae closed his eyes and sighed in contentment.
They stayed like that for sometime but then Jungkook noticed Tae was falling asleep because of jet lag. So he gently caressed Tae's face and called him,
"Baby"
"Hmm" Tae hummed in response.
"Let's freshen up and have something. Then we will take rest, okay" Jungkook suggested.
"Okay" Tae replied and got up from his husband's lap.
"Baby you go first, till then I'll order some lunch for us" Jungkook told Tae and pulled his phone out of his pocket to order the food. But Tae stopped him by holding his hand.
"Don't order, I'm craving for some ramen. So let's have ramen today" he suggested and Immediately a mischievous smile came on his husband's face.
"Wow baby we just came back from our honeymoon and you again want to have ramen" Jungkook said in a fake shocked voice.
At first Tae didn't get what his husband meant so, "what do mean Kookie? What does our coming from honeymoon have to do with having ramen?" He asked but then he noticed the smirk on Jungkook's lips and it dawned on him what the other meant and,
"Yiah you shameless bunny" Tae shrieked, his cheeks turning pink and slapped Jungkook's shoulder, "you are becoming more shameless with every passing day" he scolded the man, "you know what, go and order whatever you want, I don't want ramen or anything and also you are sleeping on the couch from today" he angrily said and started marching towards their room.
Jungkook's eyes widened hearing Tae's last words. He ran behind the angry boy and stopped him holding his hand and turned him back.
"Leave my hand you stupid bunny" Tae angrily said.
"Please baby, I'm sorry, I'm really sorry." Jungkook held his ears, "I promise I won't ever tease you, please forgive your stupid bunny" he begged.
Tae placed his hands on his hip and glared at the man in front of him, "yeah right you promise, just like you did a few days back. You naughty bunny, I know you very well. You are never gonna keep this particular promise of yours. So it's better I teach you a lesson" he told his husband.

"Lesson? What lesson baby?" Jungkook asked in a scared voice.
"Didn't you hear what I said earlier? From today you are sleeping on the couch for the next one week" Tae said.
"What! No!" Jungkook whined, "please baby you can't do that. Please don't make me sleep on the couch. You know right, I can't sleep without you, please baby don't do that" he pleaded.
Tae bit his lips to suppress his smile that wanted to break out seeing his bunny whinnying cutely, "nope, no can do. You are sleeping on the couch and that's final" he said with finality.
"No, no no baby please have some mercy on this poor bunny of yours" Jungkook again begged, "you want to have ramen right? Okay I'll make it for you. Not only that but I'll also make japchae for you for dinner, you like it right" he tried to bargain.
Tae made a thoughtful face hearing it, "hmm the deal is not bad. You make japchae real tasty, so maybe, like maybe I'll forgive you" he said and Jungkook smiled big hearing it but the smile was soon wiped out as Tae added, "but you know what I would like to see you putting a little more effort to earn my forgiveness. Maybe you should offer something more to me"
Jungkook frowned hearing it. Something more, what could it be, what more should he offer, he asked himself and soon the answer came to him. He looked at his husband with one of his brows raised, "you want ice cream, don't you?" He asked the boy who eagerly nodded his head, "I should have known, all your bargains end with ice cream only" Jungkook said shaking his head and Tae smiled sheepishly. "Okay I'll get you ice cream,"Jungkook agreed.
And Tae smiled big hearing it, all his anger forgotten. "Oh Kookie, you are the best husband in the world" he rewarded his husband with a loud smooch and ran to their room to freshen up but not before ordering Jungkook, "get my ramen ready".
Jungkook stared at the retreating back of his husband with a fond smile on his face, "my naughty Angel" he thought.
As promised Jungkook made ramen for lunch. After having their lunch the couple retired to their room to take some rest.
It's five in the evening when Tae woke up from his nap. Like always he found himself lying on his husband's chest who was staring at him holding all the love of the world in his two soulful eyes.
"Kookie" Tae said in a raspy voice and dug his face more into Jungkook's chest and placed a kiss there.
Jungkook smiled at this gesture of his husband and caressed his head, "did you sleep well baby?" He asked the boy who nodded his head, "are you feeling fresh?" Jungkook again inquired and "hmm" Tae replied.
"Good. Now come on get up I want to show you something" Jungkook told the boy.
Tae raised him from Jungkook's chest and looked at him with curious eyes, "what? What do you want to show me?" He curiously asked.
"I'm not telling you that," Jungkook replied.
"Is it a surprise?" Tae asked excitedly and Jungkook nodded his in affirmation, "yes" he replied.
Feeling excited Tae immediately sat up on the bed, "really it's a surprise! Then what are you waiting for, let's go let's go I want to see my surprise" he excitedly told Jungkook who grinned seeing his excitement.

"Okay let's go," Jungkook said. Holding Tae's hand he walked out of their bedroom and went to the spare room in their apartment.
Tae's eyes widened in surprise as Jungkook opened the door and let him in. He took in the sight in front of him and then turned to the man beside him,
"Kookie, this, this is…" before he could complete his words, "this is your study" Jungkook completed his words.
Yeah Jungkook had turned the spare room into a study room for Tae. A study desk with a book rack beside it was placed near the wall. A cozy little love seat was placed beside the window and a corner of the room stood a canvas on an easel, a small table with paints and brushes and a small wooden chair as Jungkook knows Tae likes to paint. On the study desk there was a gift wrapped box placed.
"You are going to start university so I thought it's better if you have a study room now. That small study table in the corner of our bedroom isn't enough for a university goer" Jungkook told Tae and cupped his cheek, "do you like your new study room baby?" He asked.
Tae nodded his head in negative, "not like, I love it Kookie. Thank you so much for this surprise" he said and turned his face a little and kissed Jungkook's hand that was cupping his cheek.
"You don't have to say thank you baby, you like it and that's enough to make me happy" Jungkook told the boy, his voice full of honesty, "and you surprises aren't over yet" saying so, he went and brought the gift and placed it on Tae's hand, "this is for you" he said.
"Wow Kookie this is heavy" Tae said and carried the gift back to the desk. Placing it on the desk, he started taking off the wrapper and saw that it wasn't a box but a bag. Tae could already guess what that bag must have inside it but still he opened it to be sure. And sure enough inside the bag was a professional camera set. The camera set is something that every photographer will dream to have.
Tae's eyes shone looking at it, a big smile on his face. He looked at Jungkook, his eyes shining with tears.
"Kookie you got me camera" he said in a emotional voice, a few little tears living his pretty eyes.
"My baby is going to be a photographer obviously he have to have the best camera" Jungkook said with a loving smile on his face as he wiped his emotional husband's tears. Feeling even more emotional Tae hugged Jungkook tightly, "you are the best husband anyone can get, do you know that?" He said.
Jungkook smiled blissfully hearing it and hugging Tae back, placed a loving kiss on the top of his head, "hmm I know, the best husband in the world just told me that" he told Tae who pulled a little out of the hug and going tiptoes joined his lips with Jungkook's, who pulled him close by his waist and kissed him lovingly.
"But Kookie when did you do all this?" Tae asked curiously after they broke the kiss.
"When we were on our honeymoon," Jungkook informed him.
"How?" Tae asked, feeling puzzled, how Jungkook did all of that when they were in Venice, he thought.
"Well I was planning to do it and had already arranged for everything. I had planned to suggest that we go and stay with Eomma Appa to spend some time with them and in the meantime I would have done all this. But as we went to Venice, I asked Hoseok and Yoongi to help me with it and they managed the work here" Jungkook informed Tae.
"Oh I got it," Tae said.
"So tell me are you happy receiving these surprises?" Jungkook asked Tae.
"Yes, very much happy," a happily smiling Tae replied.
"Alright then let's go and make my baby even more happy" Jungkook said and started walking out of the room holding Tae's hand.
"What! Don't tell me you have more surprises planned" Tae exclaimed.
"Only one and baby, I'm sure you'll love that too" Jungkook told his husband.
Jungkook took Tae to the balcony attached to their bedroom. He pointed to a particular corner and told Tae, "there is your surprise"
Hearing Jungkook's words Tae turned his attention to the corner his husband was pointing, only to find a cozy hanging chair with pink and blue pom poms around it.
"Aww this is so cute Kookie" Tae squealed and ran to the hanging chair and sat on it.
"Hmm it's so comfy" he said with a delightful smile on his face.
Smiling Jungkook went and knelt before the boy. Placing his hands on the both sides of Tae he asked, "you like it?"
"Yes yes, I like it Kookie, I like it so much" Tae again squealed, "you know I had one of these back at Kim Mansion" he told Jungkook.
"Hmm I know. I saw it on the first floor balcony. Eomma said that it was your favorite corner in the whole house so I thought I should give you back your favorite corner" Jungkook informed his husband.
"Yes this is going to be my favorite corner of our home. Oh Kookie, thank you so much for this" Tae said, holding Jungkook's face between his hands and pecking his lips.
"Baby did you forget what I said about saying thank you, hmm?" Jungkook asked his husband holding his hands in his.
"What?" Tae asked innocently.
"That you don't have to say thank you to me, never. Your happiness" Jungkook started tracing Tae's lips that had formed a box as the boy smiled, "this beautiful smile of yours, this is my biggest reward" he said, his voice full of love and honesty.
Tae felt emotional hearing his husband's words, the man is way too giving, does everything to make him happy but never asks anything in return, not even a simple thank you, that much selfless he is. Thinking about it tears started flowing from Tae's eyes.
Jungkook was shocked seeing the tears in his husband's eyes who was smiling big just a moment back. He immediately cupped Tae's face, "what happened baby? Why are you crying? Did I say something wrong?" He asked.
Tae shook his head hearing Jungkook's words, little tears still leaving his eyes, "no you didn't say anything wrong" he told his husband.
"Then why are you crying Angel?" Jungkook asked as he started wiping Tae's tears.
"Because you are like this," Tae said, sniffing a little.
"Like what?" Jungkook asked, smiling a little.
"Like this, so giving. You always do everything for me, you always do things to make me happy but I," Tae started crying once more, "I didn't give you anything, I just keep receiving from you but never giving anything" he said.
Jungkook smiled tenderly at the boy in front of him, "are you sure about what you said, that you never gave me anything, hmm?" He once again started wiping his husband's tears, "Who said you didn't give me anything? You gave me the most precious things in the world, you gave me love, you gave me yourself, you gave me a family." A melancholic look crossed his features, "before you came to my life, I was forever alone, after my Eomma Appa left this world, I didn't have anyone to call mine or anyone who would call me theirs. But now I have you, my Angel, I have you as mine, I have you who claims me his. What else do you think I need?" He told Tae, the melancholic look on his face once again getting replaced by a sweet smile.
Tae felt like someone was squeezing his heart hearing his husband's words. The thought that Jungkook had to spend all his life alone, craving for love always breaks his heart and what makes it worse was the realization that even after promising to never leave him, promising to always be with him, he left Jungkook alone. There he was living his life surrounded by people who loved him so much while his poor bunny was leaving his life alone, craving for love and companionship. But that was all in the past, now that he is here with his bunny, he would never let his bunny crave for love ever again in his life. With this determination in his mind, he cupped Jungkook's face and placed a loving kiss on the latter's forehead, "I promise bunny you will never again feel alone in your life. I'll never let you feel that because I'm always going to be with you, loving you, my stupid innocent bunny" he promised making Jungkook smile blissfully, his heart swelling with the love for his Angel named Taehyung.

Child of Dusk
Life can be cruel, especially to those who don't fit in. But what would you do if you were given a second chance? Tim was a nobody during his time on Earth. As a penniless orphan with no friends to speak of, life was tough for him in his little Arizona town in the '90s. He'd utterly lost hope for the future until one day, he was reincarnated as Alvanue, beloved daughter and heir to the Starlit Throne of Silthonduen. Now, Alvanue has everything a princess could ever want: a loving family, loyal comrades and an entire kingdom at her finger tips. But what good is a kingdom when there's a whole world of magic and mystery out there to explore? *** Ok! Disclaimer time. I do edit my own work and I do not have a beta reader, so please feel free to point out any errors or plot holes (politely, of course). Each chapter will be around 4,000 to 6,000 words long and while I was posting every day at the beginning, I think I'll cut that down to once a week for now, excluding bonus chapters! I really don't want to get burned out. I started writing this because I love world building, so this is gonna be heavy on lore. If you're not into that, there's still a ton of character progression and action to look forward to! It's going to be slow at the beginning, but I promise it will pick up eventually. Thanks for checking my story out, I appreciate it a lot!

The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
