"One and a half minutes left"

"One minute left"

After Tae threatened Jungkook that he would leave the older at the hotel and go out alone, the said guy had hurriedly entered the bathroom and is currently getting ready inside the bathroom and Tae is waiting for him. Tae is shaking his legs impatiently sitting at the edge of the bed and counting time looking at his wrist watch.

"Thirty seconds left," Tae declared, looking at his wrist watch.

"Ten seconds left"

"I'm here, I'm here"

The door to the bathroom opened and a disheveled looking Jungkook rushed out wearing a pair of grey chinos and a navy blue shirt. The buttons of his shirt were all wrongly done, it's half tucked in his pants and his hair all messed.

Tae sighed at the sight of his disheveled looking husband. "So much for getting ready" he thought exasperatedly.

"Let's go baby, I'm ready" Jungkook told Tae who had stood up from the bed and walked towards him.

"Yeah right you are ready" Tae muttered as he stood in front of the older. He held the sides of Jungkook's half tucked shirt and pulled it out of his pants and then started opening the buttons of the shirt.

Jungkook looked at what his husband was doing with confused eyes. "What are you doing baby?" He asked but then something came to his mind and he grinned mischievously, "hmm, seems like you changed your mind about going out. Baby, do you wanna continue what we stopped sometime back? I don't have any problem if you want to" he said, wrapping his arms around his husband's slim waist.

Tae gave his husband a glare, "yeah right you don't have any problem, like you ever had any problem when it comes to doing that" he chided the man who grinned shameless.

"Doing 'that'? What is this 'that' baby?" Jungkook teased Tae who by then had completely buttoned his shirt and was tucking it in his pants.

"You don't know what 'that' is, hmm?" Tae asked, still glaring at his naughty husband and the said man nodded his in negative feigning innocence. "Oh okay then, if you don't know what 'that' is, then we are not doing 'that' again" he said with a devilish grin and Jungkook's expression turned from mischievous to horrified.

"Baby! That's not fair, you can't always threaten me like that" Jungkook whined.

"And what about you? always teasing me, you naughty bunny" Tae replied, rounding his eyes.

"Okay, okay I'm sorry, I won't tease you, I promise. But please don't say that we won't make love again" Jungkook coaxed the boy pleadingly.

"Yeah right you promise, the only promise we are gonna break at the first chance you get" Tae sassed and Jungkook smiled sheepishly hearing it because he can't deny that he was indeed right.

"tsk.. tsk.. look at that smile of yours, I'm sure you are already thinking about things with which you can tease me" Tae exclaimed and dragged Jungkook to the dresser. He set Jungkook's hair and gave him a once over.

"Hmm, perfect. You are all ready to go now" he told his husband.

"Am I?" Jungkook asked smiling and Tae nodded his head, "hmm, let's go" Tae said.

"Okay then let's go," Jungkook said and lovingly kissed Tae on his forehead. Getting their phones and wallets the couple left their room to visit the queen of Adriatic, Venice.

"Where are you going Kookie?" Tae asked Jungkook when they were going down in the lift.

"I don't know, where do you wanna go baby?" Jungkook replied.

"I also don't know" Tae pouted.

"Okay then let's do one thing, let's ask in the reception what is the nearest place to visit, hmm?" Jungkook suggested.

"Okay, let's do that," Tae agreed.

The couple reached the reception. The receptionist smiled politely at the couple.

"Hello sir, hope you are having a nice stay" the receptionist greeted.

"Yes we are, thanks for your wonderful service" Jungkook replied, "actually we are here as we need some help"

"Yes sir please tell me how can I help you?" They said.

"Can you please suggest some nearby places to visit. Actually we didn't get much time to search about the places to visit here before coming here, so can you please help us with that?" Jungkook asked.

"Sure Sir, I think you should visit the St Mark's Square. It's a really famous tourist spot in Venice and it's not far from our hotel. It'll take only fifteen minutes in the gondola from here and if you want I can arrange one of our hotel's personal gondola for you" the receptionist suggested.

"That would be great, thank you Miss," Jungkook said.

"Okay then I'll call the gondolier for you" the woman said, "and here you can keep this pamphlet, it has all the information about the places you can visit here" she handed Jungkook a pamphlet.

"Thank you," Jungkook said.

The receptionist called the gondolier who came and escorted the couple to where he had his gondola anchored.

Following the gondolier, the couple soon reached the dock where a beautiful sleek crescent shaped boat with red velvet seats and gold trim was standing proudly.

The gondolier rode the gondola and invited the couple. Jungkook was the first to board the boat and then holding Tae's hand he carefully let the boy on the gondola.

The couple sat on the velvety seat while the gondolier steered the gondola standing behind them. Jungkook wrapped his hands around Tae who leaned head on the his husband's shoulder as they passed the picturesque scenery of Venice in the lights of early evening, blue sky over their heads, green water under the gondola, the golden lights of building on the both sides of the canal reflecting on the water, all so dreamy and romantic.

And what made it more romantic is the gondola song that the gondolier started singing while steering the boat.

As the gondolier continued singing the beautiful song of love, Tae and Jungkook looked at each other, their eyes shining in pure love for each, silently promising each other an eternity of togetherness. Soon their lips met in a soulful kiss, sealing their promise of being with each other and love each till eternity. The couple smiled softly at each other once they broke the kiss. Jungkook placed a loving kiss on Tae's forehead who smiled blissfully feeling his husband's love. Holding Tae's hand in his, Jungkook brought it to his lips and placed a chaste kiss on the back of Tae's hand. Entwining their fingers, Jungkook placed their joined hands over his heart where Tae can feel his husband's heart beating under his hand, those heartbeats meeting his own heartbeats.

They reached the St Mark's Square and got down from the gondola. The gondolier informed the couple that he will wait for them there.

Hand in hand the couple started strolling around the famous St Mark's Square, home to Venice's most commanding architecture, the once seat of Venetian emperors. They strolled through the picturesque neighborhood and the beautiful churches around, enjoying the view and their togetherness. They also took a lot of photos.

After strolling around St Mark's Square for more than two hours and enjoying the picturesque beauty, Jungkook took Tae to an outdoor restaurant at the square.

The couple sat side by side at the round table of the open air restaurant and enjoyed their dinner while making little talks and feeding each.

"Venice is so beautiful at night" Tae exclaimed while eating, "I wish I could see how it looks at daytime" he mused.

As Jungkook heard Tae's words and noticed the longing in his tone, he suddenly felt guilty for keeping his husband cooped up in the room for all this time and not visiting any place. He turned to Tae and cupped his face, "Baby, do you want to see Venice at daytime?' he asked the boy in a soft tone and Tae eagerly nodded his head, "yes Kookie, I want to" he told Jungkook.

"Okay then tomorrow let's see Venice at day time" Jungkook said and a big smile bloomed on Tae's lips, "really!" He said excitedly.

"Yes, really" Jungkook nodded his head and Tae excitedly hugged him, "you are the best Kookie, I love you" he said.

Jungkook smiled fondly at his adorable husband and kissed the top of his head, "I love you too my Angel" he said with a voice full of love.

Once they broke the hug, Jungkook took the pamphlet that earlier the hotel receptionist gave him, out of his pocket and spread it in front of them, "let's see where we can go tomorrow" he said.

After checking the pamphlet for sometime, "baby, let's do this" he pointed at something on the pamphlet and Tae too looked at it. "Vaporetto Ride?" Tar asked.

"Hmm, vaporetto Ride, let's do it. Let's travel to the islands and see them" Jungkook suggested.

"Okay, let's do that," Tae agreed.

"But baby, there's one problem" Jungkook informed Tae.

"Problem, what problems Kookie?" Tae asked confusedly.

"It says here that the ride starts at 6 in the morning. Will you be able to wake up that early?" Jungkook asked Tae knowing how much Tae hates waking up early.

"Oh that, don't worry I'll wake up. I really want to see Venice in the daytime and if I have to wake up early for it, then okay, I'll do that" Tae determinedly told his husband.

Jungkook smiled seeing Tae's determination, "okay then it's finally, we riding vaporetto and visiting the islands tomorrow" he said and Tae smiled big, "yes we are" he exclaimed happily and clapped his hands at delight and Jungkook cooed at his adorable husband.

After dinner the couple reached where the gondolier was waiting for them. They got on the gondola and sat on the velvety seats while the gondolier started steering the boat back to the hotel.

Once again the gondolier started singing the gondola song while the couple sat cuddled with each other. Tae was really tired after all the roaming they did, so he placed his head on Jungkook's shoulder and closed his eyes while Jungkook wrapped his hand around his husband and held him securely in his arms.

Soon they reached the hotel and the gondolier anchored the boat. Jungkook paid the gondolier and then turned his face to his sleeping husband and softly called the boy, "baby, please wake up see we are reached the hotel." He tried to wake up Tae but the boy did nothing like that, rather he buried his face more into Jungkook's neck.

"Baby please," Jungkook again tried to wake up Tae.

"Ahh... Kookie lemme sleep" Tae mumbled in his sleep.

"Please baby wake up for a moment, please Angel let's go to the room then I'll let you sleep as much as you want" Jungkook coaxed the boy.

Tae finally opened his eyes a little and took his face off Jungkook's neck. He sat straight and raised his hands in the air, "carry me" he demanded and again closed his eyes.

Jungkook smiled and shook his head at his childish husband. He stood up and picked Tae up in his arms who like always wrapped his limbs around his husband and buried his face in Jungkook's neck almost immediately falling asleep.

"Are you sure you can get down from the gondola like this, with him?" The gondolier concernedly asked Jungkook as he saw the way Jungkook was holding Tae and going to get down from the boat, scared that the couple might end falling in the water.

Jungkook gave the concerned male a little smile, "yes I can, don't worry I'm used to it" he informed the man and successfully got down from the gondola.

"Thank you sir for your service" Jungkook thanked the man and started walking towards the hotel.

Jungkook carried his sleeping husband to their honeymoon suite and made the boy sleep on the bed. He took off Tae's shoes, beret and scarf. He then took off Tae's pants and left in his t-shirt and boxers. He covered the boy and went to change his clothes. He quickly changed himself in a pair of shorts and hurried to the bed knowing Tae would get restless in sleep not finding him close.

As Jungkook reached the bed, just as he had guessed, he found his husband restless roaming his hands on the bed, searching for him in his sleep. He quickly hopped on the bed and pulled the boy in his arms. He pecked Tae on his lips and "umm.. Kookie" Tae mumbled in sleep and tucked his face under Jungkook's neck. "sh… I'm here, I'm here" Jungkook murmured and kissed the top of Tae's head. He gently patted the boy's back to make him sleep. And soon the couple slipped into deep slumber.

It's the sixth day of our beloved couple's honeymoon. In the past two days, they have visited some of the most famous tourist spots in Venice, enjoying the view and their togetherness. On the fourth day as promised Jungkook had taken Tae on a vaporetto Ride and the couple had visited the famous islands, Murano, Burano and Lido. They visited Doge's palace, another famous tourist spot, on the fifth day and also Rialto bridge.

Currently they are at Teatro La Fenice, the famous ancient opera house of Venice. According to Tae your visit to Venice is incomplete if you don't watch an opera show, so Jungkook brought him here.

The couple reached the Opera House and went to get the tickets. As they were standing in the queue for the tickets, Jungkook noticed the name of the Opera show they are going to watch and started reconsidering the idea of watching the show.

"Umm.. baby" Jungkook looked at Tae, "how about we visit some other place today?" He suggested.

"What!" Tae looked at Jungkook with puzzled eyes, "what do you mean Kookie? Why would we visit some other place? We are here to watch opera, so that's what we will do" he said to his husband.

"But baby can't we do that on some other day. I don't want to watch it today" Jungkook again tried to coax his husband.

"No I want to watch it today only" Tae said stubbornly, "see it's Romeo Juliet, I want to watch it"

"But baby you already know the story, don't you? Then what's the fun in watching it" Jungkook said.

"Oh come on Kookie, knowing the story or reading it in a book is one thing and watching it is as an opera is going to complete different things and want to experience it" Tae told Jungkook.

"But baby…." Tae didn't let Jungkook complete his words as he glared at the man, "stop arguing you stubborn bunny. I said we are watching it and that's final" he said with finality, "see it's our turn now go get the tickets" he ordered Jungkook who had no choice but to abide by his husband.

So, yeah they were going to watch Romeo Juliet Opera and that's why Jungkook is so reluctant to watch it. Well there would hardly be anyone who doesn't know about this particular story, how tragic it is and knowing how sensitive his husband is, Jungkook isn't sure if watching it would be a good idea or not. That's why he tried to talk Tae out of it.

After getting the tickets the couple entered the theater and went to their seats which are gallery seats. Because they didn't book the tickets in advance but brought them on the spot, they didn't get the front seats but the gallery seats. But it's not like they are complaining, gallery seats are also good and the best thing is that it's only two of them in the box.
