It's nearly two in the morning. Jungkook is in deep sleep and he is alone on the bed. There is no sight of his husband in the whole room.

Jungkook stirred in his sleep as he didn't feel the familiar weight on his body or the warmth surrounding him.

"Baby?" He called in a sleep laced voice as he blinked his eyes, waking up from his deep slumber.

"Baby? Tae?" He called again but no one answered. He turned to his left only to find the bed empty. He immediately sat up on the bed feeling worried. After all, it's the middle of the night and his husband is not on the bed. Tae is a heavy sleeper and normally doesn't wake up before morning.

"Where is he?" Jungkook thought as he ran his eyes around the room. As he was looking around his eyes landed on the balcony door that was open.

"Is he on the balcony? At this time?" Jungkook thought as he got down from the bed and started walking towards the balcony.

Jungkook reached the balcony and spotted the boy he was looking for there.

Tae, dressed in a plain black T-shirt and brown sweatpants, was huddled in a corner of the balcony. His legs are drawn to his chest, hands wrapped around them and face hidden between his knees. His shoulders are shaking and the boy seems to be shivering a little.

Jungkook felt a pang in his heart seeing Tae like that. "baby" he softly called the boy.

Tae raised his head hearing his husband's voice and turned his tear stricken face to Jungkook.

"K..kookie" he whimpered, "w..what would I..I do?" He asked as some more tears left his doe eyes and ran down his cheeks that seemed to be turning red because of crying.

Jungkook sighed hearing the question and took long steps to where the boy was sitting. He reached there and sat before the crying boy. He pulled Tae to himself and placed his head on his chest and wrapped his arms around the younger. He held Tae's head with one hand and started rubbing his back with the other.

"Ssh.. don't panic, ssh.. don't cry, you will do very good, hmm" Jungkook said as he continued to rub Tae's back.

Tae pulled his face from Jungkook's chest hearing his words and looked up at the older, "y.. you think s..so?" He asked like an insecure kid.

"Yes, baby I do" Jungkook replied.

"But, what if, what if I forget everything? What if I mess up all the answers, what will I do?" Tae asked doubtfully, "what if I fail Kookie?" With that he again started sobbing, fisting Jungkook's t-shirt.

"Baby, baby look at me" Jungkook cupped Tae's face in one hand, his hand still busy rubbing the boy's back, "listen to me carefully okay?" He looked into the panicked boy's eyes, "Nothing like that will happen as you just said. You won't forget anything or mess up. And you won't fail, so please stop panicking" he told Tae.

"Are you sure Kookie?" Tae again asked like a lost child.

"Hmm" Jungkook gently kissed his forehead, "I'm sure because I know my Taetae is the best. My Taetae is never going to fail." He said with a little smile.

"I won't forget anything, right? I won't fail right?" Tae again asked the same thing and Jungkook nodded his head in affirmation, "hmm, you won't" he said.

"Promise?" Tae placed his hand in front of Jungkook making the older smile at his childish act. "Promise" Jungkook held the hand and kissed it.

Now you all must be wondering what is happening in the middle of the night. What all this fuss is about.

The thing is that tomorrow Tae is going to have his university entrance exam and the boy is too stressed about it. It's not like he didn't study, he actually over studied but still he is stressed. Tae is indeed a very bright student, he has good grades but still he panics whenever he is supposed to have an important exam. The same thing is happening this time too. Entering SNU has always been Tae's dream and he is stressed and worried that what if he fails to achieve this dream. There is another thing that is troubling the poor boy, it is the fact that his husband has topped SNU and also the university entrance exam. He is stressed that what if he fails to get into the university and everyone laughs at his Kookie saying that he has got a stupid husband. Though he didn't let Jungkook know about this worry of his, knowing Jungkook will feel bad thinking that he is causing his baby trouble. So the poor boy keeps losing his nerves and panicking.

"Baby, how long are you sitting here?" Jungkook inquired as he pulled Tae in his lap and hugged him with one hand, the other cupping the younger's face.

"I don't know" came the innocent reply.

Jungkook sighed hearing it, "your face is so cold. You're not even wearing anything warm. You shouldn't have been here like this. What if you catch a cold, hmm?" He told the boy.

"Sorry" Tae said in a small voice while looking down.

"Tell me one thing, I made you sleep right, then when did you wake up and why did you come here?" Jungkook asked in a puzzled voice.

Earlier tonight Tae was refusing to leave his book and go to bed. Jungkook had forcefully picked him up from the chair on which he was sitting at the study table and taken him to bed. He made the boy sleep on his chest and patted him to make him sleep. Only when he became sure that Tae had slept Jungkook finally let the sleep take over his consciousness.

"I, I didn't sleep. I was just just pretending to" Tae replied guiltily, still not looking at Jungkook.

"But why? Why did you pretend that?" Jungkook inquired.

"So that you will think that I was asleep and you too go to sleep and I would return to my books" Tae explained sheepishly looking like a thief who got caught while trying to steal something.

Jungkook chuckled at this, "oh my sneaky kitten" he said and pecked the boy making him smile bashfully.

"If you woke up to study then what are you doing here?" Jungkook again asked.

Tae's face fell hearing this question as he remembered what he was doing. "I tried to study" he started, "but I couldn't. I felt like I'm forgetting everything, I felt like crying. I came here to cry" he informed Jungkook.

"Why did you come here to cry?"

"Because I didn't want to wake you up. You were already tired."

"Oh baby" Jungkook pulled the boy more into himself, his heart filled with tenderness for his Angel who no matter how distressed himself is, never stops caring about him. "don't, don't do this again. It's okay if you wake me up, my sleep is not more important than you. Don't come here alone in the middle of the night. I got scared when I didn't find you anywhere in the room. Don't ever do something like this, okay?" he told Tae who had his face buried in his husband's warm chest.

"Hmm, okay" Tae nodded his head.

"That's like my good baby" Jungkook kissed the top of Tae's head, "now let's go in and sleep. It's quite late" he said as he stood up holding Tae in his arms and started walking towards the room. He closed the balcony door with his leg and went to the bed.

He placed Tae on the bed and then laid beside him and covered themselves properly with the blanket. Tae immediately snuggled to Jungkook's chest and started pushing his t-shirt up.

"What are you doing baby?" Jungkook asked.

"I want to feel you. Take it off" came the cute demand from his husband making Jungkook grinned at his adorable baby.

"As your wish, your highness" Jungkook said and did what Tae asked. He raised himself a little and took off the t-shirt. Then he again laid on the bed and pulled Tae to his chest. Tae placed his hands and face on Jungkook's bare chest and said, "it's warm" making Jungkook smile fondly at him. Jungkook wrapped his arms around Tae and enclosed him in his warm embrace. He kissed the top of Tae's head, "goodnight baby, sleep well my Angel" he murmured. A blissful smile appeared on Tae's lips as he closed his eyes and soon fell asleep listening to his favorite music in the world, his Kookie's heartbeats.

The next morning Jungkook was the first to wake up. He woke up and found Tae all snuggled up with himself, like always sleeping with a pout. He placed Tae's head on the pillow and hovered over him.

"Why do you always pout in sleep, hmm?" He asked the sleeping boy as he rubbed his soft lips with his thumb. He lowered his head and kissed those pouting lips.

Jungkook broke the kiss and felt satisfied as he saw the pout on his sleeping husband's lips turn into a faint smile. He kissed the sleeping male on his forehead and covered him properly.

Jungkook left the bed and went to the washroom to freshen up. After freshening up he went to the kitchen and made breakfast.

When Jungkook came back to their room after making breakfast he found the bed empty. Tae was in the washroom. Jungkook got brown trousers and black shirt out of the wardrobe and started changing into them. He was just done putting the trousers on when the door of the washroom opened and Tae came out dressed in black jeans and Prussian blue shirt with pink stripes on it.

Jungkook smiled seeing his husband, he went to the boy and cupped his cheek and lovingly kissed his forehead, "good morning baby" he said.

"Good morning Kookie" Tae replied and pecked Jungkook's lips who like always turned it into a hot kiss.

"How are you feeling baby?" Jungkook asked after they broke the kiss.

"I'm okay," Tae replied.

"Are you sure? You were out in the cold for so long, you don't have any temperature right?" Jungkook said worriedly as he started feeling Tae's face and neck with his hand to check if the boy had any temperature.

"I'm fine, Kookie, I don't have temperature," Tae assured him.

"Okay, if you say so," Jungkook said.

"Hmm, now come on wear your shirt. You are distracting me" Tae told his husband and urged him to wear his clothes.

Jungkook smiled mischievously hearing it, "aww, so is my baby getting distracted by seeing his husband shirtless. Why baby are you feeling hot seeing me like this, hmm?" He asked teasingly.

Tae glared at him, "yes, I am" he pushed Jungkook to the bed where his shirt was kept, "now stop being a shameless bunny and wear your shirt" he said with a red face making Jungkook laugh.

Jungkook just loves to tease his baby and see him becoming a live tomato.

After they got ready Jungkook took Tae to the dining table and served him breakfast. Tae looked at the breakfast, "banana pancakes" He said.

"Hmm, they are healthy for you" Jungkook told him and started feeding him.

"I can eat myself, you too eat" Tae ordered.

"Okay" Jungkook smiled and started eating.

Once Tae finished his pancakes, Jungkook went to kitchen and came back with a glass of milk. Tae frowned seeing the white liquid.

"Why are you making me drink this first thing in the morning?" He asked.

"Because it's good for your health and it will give you energy," Jungkook told him.

"I won't drink it, no way, it's going to ruin the taste of my mouth" Tae said stubbornly.

"Please baby just for today" Jungkook pleaded.

"I said no, means no" Tae didn't budge from his stand. There's no way he is going to drink that yucky thing early in the morning.

Jungkook rubbed his forehead seeing his husband's stubbornness. He thought of something that could help him to make the boy drink that milk and an idea came to his mind.

"You know baby, drinking milk actually helps you to remember things. I always used to drink milk before my exams" he said with an innocent face.

Tae frowned hearing it, "really?" He asked doubtfully and Jungkook nodded his in affirmation.

Now Tae was in a dilemma, he didn't want to drink milk but then Jungkook said it helps to remember things, then it might help him to remember answers in the exam.

Jungkook looked carefully at the boy in front of him who seemed to be in deep thought. "Ah baby it's okay if you don't want to have it. I'll just go and keep it back in the kitchen" he said and started walking towards the kitchen.

Tae's eyes widened as he saw Jungkook going to the kitchen. "Kookie, stop!" He almost shouted and ran to Jungkook. He stood before Jungkook and snatched the glass from his hand and drank the whole milk in one go.

"Baby, drink slowly. You are going to choke like this" Jungkook said worriedly and started rubbing Tae's back.

Tae handed the glass back to Jungkook and wiped his lips with the back of his hand, "I'll remember everything" he said determinedly.

Jungkook pulled the boy to himself by his waist and gave him a loving kiss, "yes you will remember everything" he said and Tae gave him a cute smile.

"Let's go, get your things. We need to leave soon" Jungkook said and took Tae to their room.

Jungkook had taken the day off so that he could go be with Tae.

Tae was picking up his bag when Jungkook asked, "baby did you recheck your things? You took all the necessary documents right?"

"Yes Kookie I checked" Tae answered.

"Good. Let's go then" Jungkook said and held Tae's hand.

The couple left their home to get to the SNU.

The couple reached the Seoul National University. Jungkook parked the car and got down. He helped Tae out of the car and held his hand. They were going towards the classes when someone called Jungkook.

"Aren't you Jeon Jungkook from the business studies department?" A man in his late forties asked.

Jungkook looked at the man and smiled, "yes professor Nam, I'm that Jeon Jungkook only. How are you, professor?" He asked with a bow.

"I'm good, I'm good. How are you doing Jeon?" The man said.

"I'm fine sir thanks to you" Jungkook replied politely.

"Who is this young man with you?" Professor Nam inquired.

"This is my husband, Jeon Taehyung," Jungkook told the professor. "And Taehyung, this is professor Nam he used to be my professor" Jungkook introduced the man to Tae.

"Hello professor" Tae said with a smile and bowed.

"Hmm, seems like your husband is quite well mannered just like you Jeon" the professor said with a pleased smile.

"Yes he is," Jungkook said with a proud smile.

"What are you guys doing here?" Professor Nam inquired.

"Taehyung has an exam here. He is taking the entrance test" Jungkook replied.

"Oh I see" the professor smiled, "best of luck Taehyung, hope you do great in the exam" he said.

"Thanks professor Nam," Tae said.

"Taehyung, I'm sure you know your husband here, has topped this exam and also the university," professor Nam told Tae and patted Jungkook's back.

Tae's smile fell hearing this, once again panic settling in him. He started biting his lower lip worriedly. Jungkook, who noticed Tae doing that, understands that he is again panicking.

"Umm, professor we will take your leave now. The exam is going to start soon. It's really nice meeting you again" Jungkook told the professor.

"Oh right right you should go now" the professor shook his head, "once again best of luck Taehyung" he said.

"Thanks professor," Jungkook said.

Holding Tae's hand he left the parking lot.

Jungkook stopped after walking a little away from the parking lot and turned to Tae who was still chewing his lips. He cupped Tae's face, "baby don't do it" he freed the lips from his teeth and rubbed it. He softly kissed those bruised lips. "Don't think about anything, just focus on your exam. I know my baby will do great" he murmured on Tae's lips.

Tae felt relaxed after his husband's loving kiss and hearing his encouraging words. He hugged Jungkook. "Thanks Kookie," he said.

"For what baby?" Jungkook asked.

"For being the best husband and always supporting me. I love you Kookie" Tae told Jungkook and pecked his lips making Jungkook smile blissfully.

"I love you too my Angel" Jungkook told his husband.

Jungkook took Tae to the exam Hall. He turned the boy to himself and kissed his forehead, "good luck baby. I know you will do great" he told Tae.

"Thanks Kookie," Tae said.

"Now go to your seat," Jungkook said.

"You will be here right?" Tae asked him.

"Yes baby, I'll be just here, waiting for you" Jungkook smiled and told him.

"Okay, then I'll go in," Tae said and entered the exam Hall.

Jungkook saw him entering and then left from there. He went and sat on a bench in the University garden waiting for Tae's exam to end.

Tae's exam ended after two hours. He came out of the exam Hall and found Jungkook waiting for him as he had promised. Tae ran and hugged Jungkook tightly who too wrapped his hands around Tae.

"Kookie," Tae said, looking at Jungkook with a big smile.

"How did your exam go baby?" Jungkook asked as he put some of Tae's golden locks behind his ear.

"It went really good. You know Kookie, I answered all the questions, I remembered everything. I didn't forget anything, just like you said" a beaming Tae replied.

Jungkook smiled fondly at the boy in his arms, "See I already told you. My Taetae is so intelligent, he answered all the questions" he said and pecked Tae's lips making him smile big.

"Kookie, I'm hungry" Tae cutely told him.

"Oh my baby is hungry" Jungkook too said in a cute voice and Tae laughed, "Okay then let's go we will have lunch" he held Tae's hand and took him to the car.

Jungkook took Tae to a Korean restaurant. He pulled a chair and made Tae sit and sat in front of him.

"What do you wanna have baby?" He asked the boy.

"Japchae-bap" Tae said excitedly, he just loves japchae.
