It's been three hours since Tae slept. Jungkook is still sitting in the same position holding the sleeping boy in his arms. Somewhere in the middle of murmuring sweet things into Tae's ear and rubbing his back, Jungkook himself has fallen asleep.

It was eight in the morning when Jin and Namjoon entered the private hospital room of their son. Namjoon was holding a big bouquet of purple and yellow roses and Jin was holding a bag in which he had brought breakfast for the couple.

As soon as their eyes fell on the younger couple sleeping on the bed, the older couple's eyes went soft, tenderness filled their hearts.

An outsider will find the scene of the couple sleeping on the bed, where one of them was holding the other in his lap oh so lovingly, rather cute and heartwarming. A perfect, much in love couple, that's how they looked. And indeed much in love they are. But only those who had witnessed the catastrophe of the previous day knew how much pain those two lovers had to go through just the day before.

Jin wiped the tears that had escaped his eyes, remembering the horror and pain of the previous day. "why is it always my poor children who have to go through so much pain and anguish?" He thought "please God save my kids from all the evil eyes, please help them to be always with each other" he prayed in his heart.

Jin put the bag he was holding on the table that was placed in the room with a couch, while Namjoon went to keep the bouquet on the small bedside table. As he was placing a bouquet on the table, Namjoon did something very Namjoonish, he knocked down the glass that was on the table and the glass fell on the floor breaking with a loud sound.

Tae got startled in his sleep hearing the loud noise "Kookie" he whimpered. Jungkook woke up at once as if he wasn't sleeping a moment ago, alert hearing Tae's whimpering voice and started patting his back. "Sh.. it's okay, it's okay, I'm here, nothing happened, go back to sleep" Jungkook murmured as he patted Tae's back so that the boy could go back to sleep.

Still patting Tae, Jungkook ran his eyes around the room to see what had woken the boy up. The first person who came in his view was Jin who was standing near the couch in the room and seemed to be glaring at someone. Then Jungkook saw the person whom Jin was glaring, it's none other than his father-in-law, Kim Namjoon, who was standing near their bed with a guilty look on his face and there were broken glass pieces near his feet.

"Appa? Eomma?" Jungkook said.

"Umm… good morning Jungkook" Namjoon said with an apologetic smile on his face "sorry for waking you up, I'll go get someone to clean this up" he turned back on his heel and started leaving the room.

Jungkook saw Jin whispering or should I say hissing at Namjoon as he was crossing the former. Though Jungkook couldn't hear what Jin said, he saw how his father-in-law's face turned red as he ran almost fleeing out of the room. The whole scene was rather funny, a small smile came to Jungkook's lips.

Jin saw Jungkook smiling and went to the bed. He sat on the bed and caressed his sleeping son's head "I am really sorry for what happened earlier" he told Jungkook "you know Joonie can be really clumsy at times. Sorry we woke you up" he apologized.

"It's okay Eomma, I should be waking up anyway." Jungkook said to Jin.

Jin's eyes fell on Tae's bandaged hand, he panicked seeing it "what happened to his hand?" He worriedly asked Jungkook.

"He got hurt by the IV needle," Jungkook informed him.

"IV needle? But how?" Jin asked puzzled.

"I had gone to use the washroom and he woke up in an empty bed. I think he panicked not seeing me there. He was trying to get out of the bed so he could look for me but fell down because of weakness, that's when he hurt his hand." Jungkook told him "I shouldn't have left him alone, it happened because of me. I again ended up causing pain to him" he regretfully said.

Jin stared at the boy who looked so remorseful for what had happened though it was hardly his fault. Jin knows it very well that when it comes to causing Tae pain Jungkook would be the last person to do that. Jungkook would rather bear all the pains himself then letting them touch Tae. Yet here he is blaming himself for Tae's pain. Jin didn't like it, he didn't want Jungkook to blame himself because he knows more than anyone else that Tae would never want Jungkook to do that. So he placed his hand on Jungkook's that was on Tae's back,

"Please Jungkook none of it is your fault, neither what happened this morning nor what happened yesterday. Please don't blame yourself for it. Do you think Tae would like it if you do so? No he won't and you know it too. So please stop feeling remorseful, it's not your fault, okay" he tried to make Jungkook understand who nodded his head, letting the older know that he understood what Jin meant.

"When did you guys wake up earlier?" Jin inquired.

"Around five" Jungkook let him know.

"Don't tell me you are sitting like this from then on?" Jin asked shocked and Jungkook nodded his head in affirmation.

"It's been three hours Jungkook! your legs must have become numb by now!" Jin exclaimed in a surprised voice "you should have put him on the bed once he slept. You are going to have leg cramps at this rate" Jin told the boy.

"I can't do that" Jungkook told him "the moment I will put him on the bed, he is going to either cry or wake up, or maybe do both" he said in a helpless voice.

Jin was going to say something but at that exact moment Namjoon entered with a cleaning boy following him. He was pointing at the broken glass pieces to the boy when he noticed the blood on the floor.

"Is it blood? What happened here?" He asked, shocked , seeing the blood.

Jin told him what Jungkook had told him earlier. Namjoon felt his heart getting heavy knowing how much his child is suffering. He went near the bed and caressed the sleeping boy's back as once again guilt consumed him thinking that all of it is his fault. His son is suffering because of him. But he didn't talk about it knowing neither his son nor Jungkook would like it if he blames himself. But deep down inside his heart he knows it's going to take a lot of time for him to forgive himself.

While Jungkook was talking to Namjoon and Jin, Tae finally woke up. As he started rubbing his eyes, he felt something rough touch his eyes, he opened his eyes properly only to find a bandage wrapped around his left hand. He looked at the bandaged hand and he remembered why he had it, he also remembered how earlier he had woken up to an empty bed. He immediately looked up with panic filled eyes to check if Jungkook was still there or not and as Jungkook's face came in his view a relieved look crossed his features.

"Kookie" he called in a raspy voice.

Jungkook who was till then talking to his In-laws, looked down at his husband's face "yes baby?" He said as he smiled softly at the boy in his lap.

"You are here" Tae stated with wide eyes as if he didn't expect him to be there when he woke up and the other three people felt a pang in their hearts hearing his words.

Jungkook started caressing his cheeks "yes I am here, just like I promised" he told the boy.

"Taebear" Jin tried to get his son's attention.

Tae finally noticed the other occupants of the room, his Eomma Appa. "Eomma Appa" he said "see Kookie is here, he didn't leave me" Tae told his parents as like an innocent little kid.

All the three people in the room felt their eyes getting wet at his words.

"Yes Taebear, he came back, for you" Jin told him as he tried to control his tears "bub won't you give Eomma a hug" Jin asked.

Tae was in a dilemma hearing his Eomma's words, he did want to hug him but at the same time he didn't want to leave Jungkook's lap in fear that Jungkook might again disappear if he left him.

"Taebear?" Jin called him seeing his thoughtful expression "come to Eomma, please, Eomma wants to hug his Taebear" he pleaded.

"I want to hug Eomma too" Tae pouted "but I don't want to leave Kookie. What if he again vanishes?" He said unsuredly.

"He is going to be here only" Jin assured his son "he told you right he is not leaving. But bub you need to get off his lap and sit on the bed" Jin tried to make him understand.

"Why? I don't want to." Tae said, pouting and fisting Jungkook's shirt in his hand.

"Taebear do you know how long he is sitting like this? For three hours, his legs must be hurting by now. Do you want him to be in pain?" Jin asked knowing the only way to make Tae agree to leave Jungkook's lap is to tell him about Jungkook's pain because no matter in which mental state he is, Tae wouldn't want Jungkook to be in pain because of him.

Tae looked at Jungkook's face hearing Jin's words "Kookie are your legs hurting?" He asked in a small voice feeling sad that he is causing his Kookie pain.

"No baby, they are not. I am okay" Jungkook tried to assure him but obviously Tae is not having it "don't lie, I know you are in pain. Put me on the bed" he told his husband.

"Are you sure baby?" Jungkook asked and Tae nodded his head in affirmation. Jungkook gently placed him on the bed and Jin pulled him in a hug.

As Jungkook slowly got down from the bed and stood on the floor. "aah.." an unintentional groan escaped his lips as he felt the cramps in his legs. They hurt like hell and rightly so after all he had been sitting in the same position for so long with Tae on his lap, his legs bound to hurt. But did he ever care about himself when it comes to Tae?

Well we all know that the answer is no and that's why even though Tae asked him about it, he denied saying his legs didn't hurt.

Tae who was hugging Jin snapped his head and looked at Jungkook hearing his groan "Kookie is it hurting too much?" He asked in a sad voice "I am sorry because of me…" before he could say anything more Jungkook cut him in the middle "hey baby please don't say sorry, it's not hurting much. I am okay" he said cupping Tae's face.

"Are you sure?" Tae asked, still not believing him and "hmm" Jungkook nodded his head in affirmation.

"You should try to walk," Namjoon suggested to Jungkook "You might feel a little relieved," he said.

Jungkook did as Namjoon suggested, he slowly started walking around the room and it did help to relieve the cramps.

Tae's eyes kept following Jungkook all over the room, he didn't take his eyes off his husband even for a moment, still scared that if he did so, the said male is going to vanish.

Jin noticed how Tae was staring at Jungkook who was walking around the room with a scared look on his face and he understood what the younger one was feeling.

"Aren't you hungry, Taebear?" He asked to distract the boy.

"Hungry?" Tae said absent mindedly, still following Jungkook with his eyes "yes I am hungry" he answered.

"Joonie got me that bag," Jin asked and Namjoon handed him the bag. Jin took out the box containing breakfast from it and opened it "see Taebear I got pancakes for you, you like them right? Let me feed you" he told his son who still didn't look at him.

"Pancakes" Tae murmured to himself "Kookie likes pancakes too. Kookie come here, see Eomma has brought pancakes. Come eat with me" he called Jungkook who was in the other corner of the room.

Jungkook smiled a little hearing Tae calling him, he started walking towards the bed where Tae was sitting. And at that exact moment the door of the room opened, four people entered with a big bouquet of white and pink roses.

Hoseok, Yoongi, Jimin and Soomin entered the room. As Jimin saw his best friend sitting on the bed he rushed in and threw himself on his best friend hugging him tightly, happy to see him awake. But the reaction he got from his best friend wasn't something he has ever expected.

Tae pushed Jimin from himself with such force that the latter would have fallen down if not for Hoseok who was standing nearest to the bed and held him before he could fall down and hurt him. But it wasn't the end of their shock. What happened next was more shocking, at least for four of them who didn't know about the happenings of that morning.

"Kookie, Kookie" Tae started shouting in a panicked voice "Kookie don't go, don't leave me, please Kookie don't disappear, kookieeee" Tae started crying hysterically.

Well the thing that happened is, when Jimin had rushed in and hugged Tae, the other three also followed him and stood surrounding the bed. Because of that for a moment Tae couldn't see Jungkook who was coming towards him only and the boy panicked not being able to see his husband, he got scared thinking Jungkook finally disappeared leaving him alone. That's why he reacted like that.

Jungkook rushed to the panicked male who was crying hysterically calling his name again and again. He went and sat before Tae and pulled the crying boy in his embrace, "ssh.. baby, ssh.. I am here, I am here, see I didn't go anywhere, I am here only, I am not leaving, I am not disappearing, ssh.. don't cry Angel please don't cry" Jungkook kept whispering those words to Tae as he hugged him tightly to let the scared boy feel his warmth, so that he would be sure of his presence. Jungkook sat there hugging Tae close to his heart while Tae's cries eventually subsided, feeling Jungkook's presence near him though he was still sniffing.

Everyone else in the room was horrified seeing what just happened but no one was more terrified than Jimin "w.. what happened to him?" He asked in a trembling voice, tears pouring down his eyes. The boy was beyond shocked, never in his life Tae had done something like that to him, what he did just now. Never before his Taetae had pushed him like that from himself, not even when they had fought. And then the way Tae started shouting and crying calling for Jungkook even though the latter was in the room only, it terrified Jimin. He couldn't understand what's wrong with his best friend.

"Uncle Jin, uncle Namjoon what happened to my Taetae? Why did he push me like that? Why is he crying and saying those things?" He asked puzzled as tears still poured down his eyes.

Hoseok, Yoongi and Soomin too looked questioningly at the older couple, not understanding what just happened.

Namjoon sighed seeing their questioning gaze "come with me I'll tell you guys" he said and started leaving the room. Others followed him closely behind.

Jimin was standing there staring at the bed where Tae was still sniffing in Jungkook's arms when Yoongi went to him and wrapped his hand around the younger boy.

As Jimin felt his boyfriend's presence next to him, he turned his head and looked at Yoongi who said "come with me, uncle called us outside" and took the still shocked boy outside.

Outside Namjoon told them about what happened that morning, how Tae is refusing to let Jungkook out of his eyes and how he starts panicking and crying if he can't see Jungkook even for a moment. By the time he was done talking both Jimin and Soomin was in tears while Yoongi and Hoseok too felt their hearts getting heavy hearing about Tae's sufferings. They all have thought how they saw Tae the previous day was the worst of all. They had expected that now when Jungkook was back, Tae would again become happy and cheerful like his usual self but nothing like that happened. Tae is still suffering like this and they all knew that with him Jungkook is suffering too.

When they all again entered the room they saw Jungkook was sitting on the bed holding Tae and Jin was feeding them both.

Jimin went near the bed "I am really sorry Taetae" he apologized for unknowingly hurting his best friend earlier.

Tae looked at his best friend who looked really sad. "It's okay Jiminie, don't feel bad and I am sorry too for pushing you like that" he said in a small voice.

Jimin went near him and held his hand "it's okay Taetae, you too don't feel bad. Sometimes things like that happen between friends" he said "and about pushing me, don't worry once you become fit and fine then I will take my revenge from you, I have my weapon ready you know" he smiled mischievously.

Tae's eyes went big "no Jiminie, not that, I already said sorry, please don't tickle me" he pleaded.

"Nope, nothing can do, I will surely take my revenge" Jimin tried smile evilly but looked rather cute while doing so "you know maybe I should do it already" he said and poked Tae's side who immediately started giggling "no Jiminie don't, that tickles" he said between his giggles as Jimin kept poking him.

And after a whole long day the hearts of the people present in that room felt a little light seeing Tae who was finally smiling.

"Thank you so much Jimin" Jungkook thanked Jimin in his heart as he saw his baby finally smiling.
