The girl was dumbstruck at this reply. She was hella shocked hearing it. She kept staring at Tae with her mouth hanging open. She didn't thought that cute looking boy can actually say something so bold. Though she has seen that handsome boy holding that cute one rather protectively, she didn't thought it could be because they are a couple. She was really hoping for Tae to be Jungkook's brother. She was really expecting to spent the rest of the night with Jungkook. According to her, there was no way that Jungkook could resist someone as hot and sexy as hers. If only she knew Jeon Jungkook has his eyes on only one person, that is his husband, his baby, his Angel, his Tae. He never even looks at anyone else, let alone feeling attracted to them.

But she isn't the only one who felt shocked. Hoseok and others have followed Tae when he started walking towards Jungkook and they heard it too. They too were hella shocked hearing Tae's words. Now, now, let us move to the star of the night, I know whose reaction you guys are eagerly waiting to see, Jeon Jungkook.

Jungkook was way more shocked than anyone else. He was stupefied, he was totally dazed, eyes wide opened, staring at his husband, mouth formed an 'O' and ears turning pink. Of all the things he expected Tae to say, this is not one. He really didn't thought that the boy who was getting shy because he called him cupcake just this evening, can make such a bold remark. He was literally speechless. He felt his breath hitching as according to him Tae looked damn hot and sexy while saying those bold words. He felt really turned on seeing this bold side of his shy baby. He just felt like kissing those lips, that uttered those bold words, hard.

And he did. He turned Tae's face to him and placed his lips on his bold baby's and started kissing him passionately. Tae's reaction was immediate. He snaked his hands around Jungkook's neck and started kissing him back with equal fervor. As Jungkook felt Tae's hands on his neck and him kissing back, he just pulled Tae even closer to himself by holding his waist, there was no gap between their bodies.

The couple kept kissing without any care about the people around them. They were just lost in each other.

That girl felt like she's going to faint. As it is, she was already hella shocked after Tae's bold remark but this is Just too much. She was staring wide eyed at them, she really wanted to look somewhere else, but somehow she wasn't able to take her eyes off the scene happening in front of her.

Soomin was jumping with excitement seeing the scene unfolding in front of her. Oh how much she's enjoying the whole thing. Hoseok was shocked at first when Jungkook started kissing Tae, well he has never seen his best friend acting so bold. Yoongi was obviously not shocked because he has already seen them kissing like that in the hotel corridor in Jeju. He just covered Jimin's eyes with his hands trying to prevent him from seeing the scandalous sight. As if he himself never did that to Jimin. "These two seriously needs to get a room" he thought exasparated.

The couple broke the kiss when they couldn't keep going anymore without air. Jungkook broke the kiss and grinned "that was hot baby" he stated and a shy smile came to Tae's lips, his flushing face flushed even more.

The couple turned to the front only to find that girl still standing there, staring at them.

"What! You are still here?" Tae asked irritated.

"Y..you, you g..guys really aren't b..brothers are you? Y..you guys are a c..couple?" She asked fumbling.

"I already told you didn't I? How dumb you are that you still can't get it" Tae said feeling annoyed at that stupid girl "okay let me show you something" he held Jungkook's left hand in his and showed the girl their hands, where on the ring fingers, sat proudly their wedding rings "we are married" Tae informed her "now you got the answer, so come on just piss off. Don't ever dare to even look at my man, you have no idea what I can do" he told her in a angry voice.

The girl felt really humiliated, she just turned back and ran from there.

"Wow baby you are hot" Jungkook exclaimed grinning.

"You keep your mouth shut" Tae snapped at him, glaring.

Jungkook was flabbergasted at the sudden mood change of his husband.

"Baby?" He asked cautiously.

"Don't baby me. I'm so done with you." Tae angrily told him.

"What did I do?" Jungkook asked in a small voice while pouting his lips.

"That's the problem you didn't do anything. God Kookie why are you so naive, what will I do with you?" Tae scolded him "and stop pouting, it's distracting" he further added and Jungkook grinned hearing it. But that grin didn't last long because once again Tae glared at him and Jungkook immediately shut his lips tight.

"Didn't you see what that girl was trying to do?" Tae asked him.

"What?" Jungkook asked innocently.

"She intentionally crashed into you. She wanted to get your attention. You stupid innocent bunny have no idea what happens in this kind of places do you?" Tae again scolded him.

Jungkook bit his lower lip to stop the grin from coming on his lips. The way Tae was cutely scolding him and calling him stupid innocent bunny, he found it really endearing and amusing.

"What happens in this kind of places?" He asked feigning innocence.

"This kind of places are full of people like that girl. They will first try to get you comfortable with them by talking, then will offer you drinks and mix drugs in those drinks without you knowing it. Then once you become unconscious they will do things to you" Tae explained animatedly like his making a child understand something.

Jungkook just wanted to squish those fluffy cheek of his baby who is talking so animatedly with while rounding his doe eyes.

"Do things?" He again asked if he couldn't understand the meaning those words.

"Hmm they will do things to you" Tae warned him.

"Oh you don't want anyone to do 'things' to me?" He asked teasingly.

"Yes, I don't want anyone to do things to you" Tae told him without catching the older's teasing tone.

"So you want to do 'things' to me?" Jungkook again asked, his tone still teasing.

"Yes, I want to do things to...." Tae suddenly stopped talking and looked wide eyed at his husband, finally noticing the teasing smirk on his lips.

"Kookieeee" Tae whined and hid his face on Jungkook's shoulder.

Jungkook laughed out loud seeing his husband getting shy once more "what? Complete your words baby" he again teased.

Tae slapped his upper arm "don't tease me" he said, face still hidden in the older's shoulder "I was trying to protect you and you are teasing me, you mean bunny" he whined.

Jungkook grinned hearing his words but then stiffled it and said "sorry baby for teasing you and thanks for protecting me. What would have happened to me without you?"

Tae finally looked at him "don't worry I'll always protect you, after all I'm your guardian" he told the older.

Jungkook remembered the police station incident where Tae has proudly declared that he is Jungkook's guardian.

"Yes you are" Jungkook told him and pecked his lips making the boy smile.

"Go get a room you two" Yoongi exclaimed as they all came to the couple.

Tae became red hearing it while Jungkook grinned like a fool.

"Damn Jungkook you are so whipped" Hoseok said this time "you actually kissed him like that, that too in public"

Though Jungkook was still grinning like a fool but one can easily see the pink tint on his cheeks.

"Tae my brother I'm so proud of you" Soomin told to Tae "the way you answered that bitch, indeed I've raised you well" she wiped her fake tears and everyone else bursted into laughter.

"Now all I have to wait to see this side of my Minnie, but I guess he needs some more training" she looked at Jimin "don't worry brother noona will teach it all to you" she oh so dramatically told her brother.

"Don't you dare Soomin" Yoongi glared at her "Don't ruin his innocence with your crazy teaching" he told her.

"Why? Who are you to stop me. I'll teach him whatever I want" Soomin argued.

"Stop it you two" Hoseok shouted, he had enough of the crazy fight of those two friends. Both Soomin and Yoongi shut their mouths and looked down.

"grow up will you, always fighting like cats and dogs" Hoseok scolded them.

Soomin suddenly looked up and glared at her boyfriend "Seokie are you calling me dog?" She asked enraged.

"I... What.." Hoseok was flabbergasted "when did I do that?" He asked.

Hoseok's eyes went round "no no no Soo what are you saying? Do you think I'll ever do that. I'm really sorry if it seemed like that. You know right I love so much" he pacified his girlfriend.

"Okay if you say so" Soomin said cutely "but I want a kiss" she demanded.

Hoseok was going to abide by her demanded, he almost kissed her when "yiah can't you see other people are here too, stop your PDA it's disgusting" Yoongi spoke out.

Soomin again glared at him which he too reciprocated.

"You lazy cat"

"You crazy woman"

"And there they go again" Tae rolled his eyes as he whispered those words to Jungkook.

While Soomin and Yoongi continued with their bickering, Jungkook took Tae to the drinks counter.

Well if you guys remember, Tae was feeling thirsty and Jungkook had went to bring drink for him but because of the event that followed they forgot about it. So now Jungkook took Tae with him.

As they reached the counter, Tae became exited seeing all the colourful drinks. A beautiful ombre coloured drink caught his eyes.

"Kookie I want that one" he said excitedly.

"Which one baby?" Jungkook asked.

"That" Tae pointed at the drink.

Jungkook looked at the drink and then at Tae "baby it's a cocktail, it has alcohol. So no you are drinking that. Pick something else" Jungkook told him.

"Please Kookie it's just a cocktail, they doesn't have much alcohol, please just one" Tae pleaded using his hidden weapon, puppy face and pout. And like always Jungkook is defeated.

"Okay, but just one" he bargained and Tae eagerly nodded his head.

So Jungkook got him the drink. As Tae started drinking it "umm it's so tasty Kookie" he moaned while sipping it "what is it's name?" He asked.

"Sex on the beach"

Tae just choked on his drink and started coughing violently. Jungkook immediately rubbed his back to sooth him. "baby you okay?" He asked worried and Tae just glared at him.

Tae went near his husband and started sniffing him.

"B..baby what are you doing?" Jungkook asked puzzled.

"I'm trying sniff the alcohol. Tell me honestly how much did you drink?" Tae asked him.

"What? What are saying?" Jungkook was shocked "I didn't drink even a drop. Why would you even think I drank it?" He asked.

"Because you are talking like a drunk" Tae informed him.

"What do you mean?"

"You must be drunk, otherwise why would you say that?" Tae told him.

"Say what?"

"That, that you just said" Tae looked down "s..sex o..on t..the b..beach" he fumbled.

Jungkook started laughing hard. He laughed really hard clutching his tummy. Tae looked at if as thinking my husband has gone mad.

"See how you are laughing like a madman, I'm right, you are indeed drunk" Tae told him annoyed.

Jungkook somehow controlled his laughter "baby I didn't say that because I'm drunk. I said it because you asked the name of this drink. Sex on the beach, that is the name of this drink" he clarified and Tae felt embarrassed for misunderstanding the whole thing. He didn't said anything anymore, just kept drinking his cocktail.

"By the way baby what did you think I mean by that?" Jungkook asked teasingly "did you think I wanted to do 'things' here in the beach?" He smirked.

Tae's cheeks become tomato hearing it. He glared at Jungkook "shut up" he told him and then looked down again feeling shy.

Jungkook lovingly kissed his red cheeks "you are just too cute" he said and Tae smiled bashfully.

Finally it was the time for the count down. The couple stood by each other as the booming voice of the MC rang through the beach.

10...9...8...7...6...5...5...4...3...2...1...0

everyone shouted.

They looked at each other and smiled, they both moved their faces towards each other. Their lips met in a loving kiss.

As they broke the kiss,

"Happy New year Angel"

"Happy New year Kookie hyung"

Both said at the same time. Jungkook looked at Tae with astonishment hearing what Tae called him. He couldn't believe that Tae had actually called him with the name by which he used to call him as a child.

"W..what did you just call me?" He asked still not believing that he heard it right.

"Kookie hyung" Tae said smiling softly "why you don't like it?" He asked.

"I love it Taetae" Jungkook replied with a big bunny smile.

He once again kissed his Taetae, to let him know how much he loves that name.
