someone remarked sarcastically.

Silence fell on the party hall. Everyone looked at the person who made this snide remark, only to find Lee Jenifer standing there, her lips curled in a mocking smile, eyes have a mad look in them.

Tae looked at the woman, who has the audacity to say something so vile about his husband, with burning gaze.

"WHAT. DID. YOU. JUST. SAY?" Tae said gritting his teeth.

"What! Didn't you hear it, I said it quite clearly didn't I?" Jennifer mocked "A. SLAVE, isn't that what he, Jeon Jungkook, is to you."

Tae just wanted to kill that woman with his bare hands, he started walking towards her but Jungkook stopped him by holding his hand "baby, no" he pleaded.

"Wow look at you Jungkook still behaving like a perfect slave who is stopping his spoilt brat master from getting into trouble" sarcasm dripped from jennifer's voice.

"Jungkook threw her an angry glare "shut up Jennifer" he bit out.

Jungkook is getting angry now, he doesn't care what she calls him but dare she call his baby spoilt brat, no one, I mean no one dares to do that in his presence.

"Why should I shut up? Is it because what I'm saying is true?" Jennifer argued.

"Mind your words miss Lee" an enraged Namjoon warned her.

"Seokie leave my hand, I'm going to beat this bitch up" Soomin hissed at Hoseok who was holding her hand tightly knowing the moment he loosens his grip, his girlfriend is going to charge at that nasty woman, making another scene.

"Why do I need to mind my words Mr Kim" Jennifer asked "so that people won't know the real face of yours behind that mask of kindness that you wear. You know Mr Kim I used think so high of you seeing how you helped an orphan boy to have a better life but I should have known nothing comes free in this world. You had your own selfish motive behind it, you wanted to thrust your stupid spoilt son on him, you wanted to make him a slave of that brat" Jennifer's words were coated with venom.

"Jennifer I told you to shut your mouth, didn't I?" An enraged Jungkook said "how dare you use those words for my Tae?"

"What are you getting so worked up about" Jennifer told him "and what's with this 'my Tae'? It's not like you love him or something, because according to my knowledge you are unable to love anyone except a certain someone" she finally said what she was waiting to say for the whole evening.

Jungkook suddenly froze, he closed his eyes in despair, this not how he wanted it to come out.

Yoongi and Hoseok looked at the woman with murderous gaze, how dare she talk about that.

Tae who was feeling so angry till then, suddenly felt like someone threw a bucket of ice at him, his heart dipped hearing those words, "what did she mean by that, unable to love anyone except a certain someone" he thought.

"W..what did you mean by that?" He asked to Jennifer and then turned to Jungkook "what did she mean by that Kookie?" He asked his husband in small voice but Jungkook couldn't say anything, suddenly feeling tongue tied.

"Yes Jungkook why don't you tell your husband what's the meaning of my words?" Jennifer asked Jungkook mockingly "why don't you tell him what you told me all those years back while rejecting me. I still remember it, you said you can't love me or anyone else because there's already someone you love, an angel whom you have loved all your life. Apparently the song that you sang that in the fest, the same one that you sang just now, you wrote it for that Angel of yours. If you really loved that person so much than what are you doing here, with Kim Taehyung? Tell me did you lie then or are you lying now?" She finally asked the question that she was dying to ask from the very first moment she was introduced to Jungkook as Kim Taehyung's husband.

Tae couldn't hear it anymore, all this is too much for him, tears were flowing like a river from his beautiful eyes, he couldn't keep standing there. So he Just turned back and ran out of the party hall.

Jin felt dread settling in his whole being, "what that girl is saying? Is it true what she said? If so then why did Jungkook agreed to this marriage? Is it because he felt obliged to us? Did we really unknowingly ended up taking advantage of him? But if he really loves someone else then what about my Taebear? What about my poor baby, he had already fallen for his husband, what will he do?" Jin thought with a heavy heart.

Jin was ready to go behind his crying son when he heard it, a voice, an angry voice, angry voice of Jeon Jungkook,

"HOW. DARE. YOU. HURT. MY. ANGEL? HOW. DARE. YOU. MAKE. MY. TAE. CRY?" Jungkook's enraged voice thundered in the party hall.

Everyone looked at him with astonishment, the always calm and composed Jeon Jungkook is angry, very much angry, his jaws clenched, eyes red, he seems to be fuming. It's a sight that none of them have ever seen, not even his two best friends.

Even Hoseok and Yoongi were surprised seeing their best friend like that, they had no idea of this side of him.

No one has ever seen this side of Jungkook because this side of him only surfaces when someone dares to hurt Tae, the calm and composed, ever polite Jungkook gets replaced by an angry beast when that happens.

"J..Jungkook w..wha.." Jennifer was confounded, she, just like others, had never seen this Jungkook, she didn't expect Jungkook to react like that.

"Answer me miss Lee how dare you hurt him? Who the hell do you think you are? Who gave you the right to question our relationship" Jungkook spoke angrily "you know what, I have actually felt pity on you, the way you kept confessing to me, I actually felt bad for you but you don't even deserve my pity. You are nothing but haughty stupid girl who thinks she can have anything and anyone just because she has the power of money. What you need to know is that you can't move someone's heart with your wealth, only a pure heart can do that and you obviously don't have that, I doubt if you even have a heart or not" he threw those hurtful words on her face.

Lee Jennifer felt heartbroken, hearing the person you love calling you haughty stupid girl, him telling you that you don't even deserve his pity, that you don't have a heart, it's indeed too much to bear. Tears rolled down her cheeks but none felt pity for her because she herself has brought this misery upon her.

"P..please Jungkook don't say like that, you know how I feel about you" she pleaded.

"Yes, indeed I know, you are obsessed with me" Jungkook replied angrily "you want to own me. You..."

Before Jungkook could say anything more, Yoongi placed a hand on his shoulder "Jungkook don't waste your time on her. Go behind Tae, he left from here, he was crying" he told his best friend.

It seemed like Jungkook came back from his angry trance hearing Yoongi's word. His expression changed from anger to anguish, he looked arround the hall searching for his Tae but there was no sight of the said boy.

"Tae, my Angel, he is crying, he is hurt, I..I need go to him" he mumbled to himself.

"Yes Jungkook go, go to your Angel" this time it's Hoseok who spoke.

Jungkook looked at his two best friends who nodded their heads encouragingly.

And Jungkook ran, he just ran out there to go to his Angel, leaving a bunch of shocked people behind.

As Jungkook left, Jin and Namjoon looked questioningly at Hoseok and Yoongi.

"What did you mean by that Hoseok?" Jin asked "going to his Angel."

"Yes going to his Angel, his husband, Taehyung" Hoseok revealed "Taehyung is Jungkook's Angel, the one he has always loved" he then turned to Jennifer "you are indeed a stupid girl Jennifer, you knew Jungkook wrote that song for his Angel, you saw him singing that for Tae, yet you couldn't make it out that Tae is his Angel. You went and hurt the person Jungkook loves most in the world and let me tell you something, from today you are going to be the person whom he hates most in this world" he told her.

Everyone in the hall was throwing draggers from eyes to Jennifer for causing such a big scene.

Mr Lee noticed how everyone was looking at his daughter with hatred. He felt ashamed of her behavior.

He came to Namjoon "I am sorry Mr Kim for the trouble my daughter caused, she is still immature, I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive her" he said.

"Do you really think we will be able to forgive her after what she did, she insulted our son-in-law, hurt our child, made him cry on his birthday and you are asking us to forgive her" Jin snapped at him.

Mr Lee closed his eyes in shame "I'm really sorry Mr Kim" he said "I'm ashamed of what my daughter did, I won't add to your displeasure anymore by staying here. I'll take your leave now" with that he held his daughter's hand and left from there, dragging a still shocked Jennifer with him.

Jungkook ran out the party hall to search for Tae, his husband, his Angel, the love of his life.

Yes, the love of his life, the person whom he had started loving even before he knew the meaning of love. He had loved Tae from the very first time when they met all those years ago, when he was just a eleven year old boy. The very time Tae had came to him, called him Kookie hyung, sat on his lap, his heart has started beating for that Angel. He had felt immensely happy everytime Tae came to meet him at the orphanage, his heart used to feel heavy when Tae used to leave from there. Maybe at that time he was too young to decipher the meaning of his feelings. But as he grew up, he finally understood the meaning of those feelings. The feeling is love, what he feels for Tae is love, purest of all emotions.

He never expected anything in return of his love, he never, even in his wildest dreams had thought that there will come a day when he will get a chance to become to a part of his Angel's life and he had no complains about that, he was happy with loving him from far.

But destiny had some other plans. It brought them together, bounded them in the sacred bond of marriage. And he couldn't be more happy. They have came a long way in their marriage, Tae has started to accept him in his life and he has nothing more to ask for.

Jungkook didn't wish all this to come out like this, he didn't want Tae to know about it like this when he doesn't even have any idea that the person Jungkook loves is none but he himself. Jungkook was planning to confess his feelings to Tae tonight after party. But that nasty woman ruined it all and now here Jungkook is desperately searching for his baby.

Tae couldn't hear that woman's words anymore, he rushed out of the party hall with tears flowing like river from his eyes. He had no idea where he was going, he just went to where his feet took him and reached the beautiful garden of the hotel.

Upon reaching the garden, Tae collapsed, he sat on the grassy ground, clutching his heart, he cried out. He felt an unbearable pain in his heart, as if someone is tearing his heart apart. The revelation is too much for him, Jungkook, his Kookie, loves someone else. He has loved someone for all his life, called that person his Angel, even wrote song for that person but that someone is not him, he is not the one his Kookie loves, this thought made his heart hurt like hell. His Kookie, does he even have the right to call him that knowing that he is not the one whom Jungkook loved.

But if Jungkook loves someone else then what about him, why did Jungkook married him? Why did Jungkook show so much care for him? Why did Jungkook shower him with so much affection? Is it only because he felt obliged? Did he just pity him? The love that he felt in Jungkook's touches and kisses was it nothing but an illusion created by his brain?

Tae couldn't think anymore, it felt like his heart is going to burst with all the pain he is feeling. He covered his face with his hands and wailed loudly.

Jungkook was searching for Tae like a madman. He searched everywhere in the hotel but couldn't find the boy. He felt his heart shrinking with every passing moment. Tae is way too sensitive, he is not good in handling his emotions, what if, what if he harms himself in his distressed state, horror filled Jungkook's whole being thinking about it. He started running even faster to search for his love, his life, his Tae.

Jungkook reached the hotel's garden and that's when he saw the boy whom he was so desperately looking for. But the way he found him, the sight in front of him broke his heart into million pieces.

There sitting his Tae, his Angel, on the hard ground, in the middle of snow that started falling for sometime now, he has his face hidden in his hands, his shoulder shaking indicating that he is crying, looking so broken.

Jungkook felt tears building in his own eyes seeing the love of his life in that state, it's his birthday, he is supposed to be happy today, he's supposed to be smiling but here he is crying sitting in the middle of the snow. He ran to where Tae was sitting on the ground.

Jungkook reached to Tae and knelt before him. He stretched his hand and slowly touched Tae's shoulder and felt the boy still.

"Tae, baby please look at me" he requested. But Tae didn't take his hands off his face.

"No" Tae shook his head.

"Please baby, please look at me." Jungkook again pleaded still Tae didn't look at him.

"W..why are y..you here? W..what are y..you doing here with m..me?" He asked, his voice shaking from all the crying he did he told Jungkook.

came the reply from Jungkook and finally Tae took his hands off his face and looked wide eyed at Jungkook.

If you guys remember, it was said, after the first kiss of Taekook, that Jungkook had never kissed or dated anyone, that he had his own reasons for it. So here is the reason, he never did so because he was in love with Tae for all his life, so how could he have kissed anyone else or dated anyone.

Alright so I have some plots in my mind from the very beginning of this story and this is one among them. I was actually waiting from a long time to write this chapter. Hope it came out well, please let me know how you feel about this chapter.
