It was nearly 3 in the morning when the surprise birthday party ended. Everyone parted ways with promise to meet in the evening. Well there's going to be a formal party in the evening, in one of the biggest hotel's of Seoul, after all it's the twentieth birthday of the only son of Kims. So they all are going to meet again in the evening.

After everyone left the couple too went to sleep in Tae's room, this time Tae didn't had to ask Jungkook to sleep with him, rather Jungkook himself carried him to the bed.

The couple laid side by side on the bed.

"Tae" Jungkook said and hovered over the younger boy.

"Hmm" Tae hummed, his eyes looked with his husband's.

"Did you like the surprise?" Jungkook inquired.

"No" Tae said and Jungkook's face fell "I loved it" he completed his sentence with his signature boxy smile and saw a beautiful smile blooming on the older's lips "thank you so much Kookie for this beautiful surprise" he further added.

"You don't have to thank me, baby" Jungkook said, his voice full of honesty "you are happy and that's enough for me. I don't need anything more."

Tae looked at Jungkook feeling emotional, his eyes teared up hearing the older's heartfelt words, how much Jungkook cares for him.

Jungkook looked at the teary boy, he felt worried seeing the boy who was smiling just a moment ago now in tears "what happened baby? Why are you crying? Did I say something wrong?" He asked to which Tae nodded his head in negative but didn't say anything.

"Then why are you crying?" Jungkook again inquired.

"Because I'm happy" Tae answered to him and Jungkook finally relaxed hearing it, he wiped the tears that escaped the younger's eyes with his thumb "if you are happy then you should smile not cry, you know right, I don't like to see tears in your eyes" he told Tae who nodded his head in affirmation "I only want to see your smiling face" Jungkook further added and placed his lips on Tae's, gently kissing the younger boy who kissed him back, it was a gentle kiss full of care and adoration.

"Happy birthday baby" Jungkook said after breaking the kiss. He pulled Tae in his arms and laid on his back, his arms protectively wrapped around the younger boy who had his head tucked under his chin and hand placed on Jungkook's chest, over his heart.

Jungkook kissed the top of Tae's head "goodnight baby" he whispered and Tae smiled hearing it. Wrapped in each other's warmth the couple drifted to a peaceful slumber.

It's half past nine when Jungkook woke up. He found his beautiful husband sleeping all cuddled up with him or more like sleeping on him, the boy has half of his body on him. Jungkook smiled realizing the sleeping position of the younger, he had become used to of waking up like that, with Tae half lying on him and he actually likes it, the younger's warm pliant body on his, it makes his heart warm, gives him a sense of fulfilment.

Jungkook decided to let the boy sleep some more so he gently laid him on his back and placed a pillow between his hands, then covered him properly with the blanket. Jungkook lovingly placed a kiss on Tae's forehead and left the bed.

He exited the room and came to the living room, the whole room was in mess from the party previous night. He started cleaning it. After cleaning the room he went to his room and freshened up, then he went to kitchen.

It was nearly 11:30 when he was done with the cooking. He went to wake up his husband. He found the boy sleeping peacefully on his bed.

Jungkook sat on bed and gently shook the boy to wake him up "wake up my birthday boy" he said "wake up baby".

Tae stirred in his sleep and half opened his eyes only to see his handsome husband sitting near him. He again closed his eyes and placed his head on Jungkook's lap "please Kookie just five minutes more" he croaked out.

"Okay only five minutes" Jungkook agreed to which Tae said "hmm" and nuzzled against the older's stomach who started caressing his soft hairs.

"Five minutes up baby, now come on wake up" Jungkook told the younger after sometime. Tae finally woke up and sat on the bed "good morning baby" Jungkook kissed his forehead.

"Good morning Kookie" Tae smiled and kissed the older on his cheek. Suddenly his stomach growled, Tae looked sheepishly at Jungkook "Kookie I'm hungry" he informed him.

"Hmm I can hear that" Jungkook chuckled "let's go get that cute tummy of yours filled" he said and stood up.

But Tae didn't leave the bed, he just raised his hands "carry me" he demanded and who is Jungkook to deny his cute baby. So he picked the boy up, Tae immediately snaked his limbs around the older who held him protectively.

Jungkook took the boy out of his room and took him to the dining table. He made Tae sit on the chair and that's when Tae noticed the items on the table. The table is filled with all the traditional Korean birthday food, seaweed soup, steamed rice, Tae's favorite japchae, rice cakes, meat, fish and all other items.

Tae looked at the food and then at his husband "Kookie don't you think this is too much?" He asked to which Jungkook answered "not at all, it's your birthday, you need to eat well".

Tae looked at older with love filled gaze and pulled him in a hug "thank you Kookie thank you so much for always taking care of me" he emotionally voiced out in the crock of Jungkook's neck.

Jungkook understood that Tae is feeling emotional so he rubbed his back and kissed the side of his head. He then broke the hug and cupped Tae's face "you are my baby, who else will I take care of if not you, hmm?" He said and softly pecked the younger's lips and felt the boy's lips curving in a smile against his.

"Now come on let's eat before all this get cold" he told Tae after taking his lips off him.

Tae bestowed him with a cute smile and dug into his food.

It's evening, the couple is getting ready for the formal birthday which is held in one of the biggest hotels of Seoul.

Tae was getting ready in his room and thinking about his day. If you ask him, so far this is one of the best birthdays of his. Last night Jungkook gave him a surprise birthday party that he loved and today, the whole day Jungkook pampered him like a little kid and he is loving it.

Tae was lost in his thoughts when Jungkook knocked his door and entered with a box in his hand.

Jungkook felt his breath hitched as soon as he entered the room, there standing Tae dressed in black pants, white shirt, a golden waistcoat and golden coat over it looking ravishing.

Tae saw his husband staring at him "how do I look Kookie?" He asked.

"Breathtaking" Jungkook blurted out and saw the boy's cheeks colouring red.

Tae felt shy hearing the older's compliment, he blushed and lowered his head smiling shyly. Then he lifted his head and looked at his husband "you are looking very handsome too" he said and again lowered his head.

Jungkook smiled hearing it "am I?" he Asked, he was wearing a full black suit looking hot as hell. Tae shyly nodded his head still looking down.

Jungkook went to his shy husband and lifted his face by placing his finger under the boy's chin. Tae looked at Jungkook's eyes that were full of adoration for him.

"This is for you" the older said and placed the box in front of the younger. Tae looked at the box and then at his husband "what is it?" He asked to which Jungkook answered "open it".

Tae opened the box and saw a beautiful set of earrings and necklace from channel lying inside. The set is beautiful adorned with tiny crystals and single pearls. "It's gorgeous Kookie" Tae said.

"Not more than you" came the reply.

Tae looked at Jungkook "make me wear it" he told the older and stood back facing him, waiting for him to put the jewelry on him.

Jungkook took one earing in his hand and gently put it on Tae's ear and then placed a kiss on his earlobe and heard the boy sucking a harsh breath. He did the same thing with the other ear and then held the necklace and placed it on Tae's neck, he locked it and then placed a kiss on his neck where the lock laid.

By the time Jungkook was done, Tae had become a blushing mess, his felt tingles in his whole body.

Jungkook turned the younger boy towards himself and found that the boy had turned a live tomato. He smiled at the blushing boy "beautiful" he uttered and placed his lips on Tae's kissing him who also kissed him back. "Happy birthday baby" he murmured in between the kiss.

The couple reached the party venue. Everyone in the party was awestruck seeing the gorgeous couple. They couldn't take their eyes off the stunning couple. The birthday boy was looking breathtakingly beautiful and his husband looked hot as hell.

Jin and Namjoon welcomed their son and son-in-law. "You are looking stunning" Jin told his son and hug him "thanks Eomma" Tae told him.

Tae and Jungkook were standing with Namjin couple when someone called Tae "Taebear did you forget us?"

Tae looked back at the source of the voice and a big smile came on his face seeing an old couple standing there.

"Grandma, grandpa" he squeaked and hugged the couple.

Yes, they are his grandpa and grandma, Namjoon's parents. Namjoon's parents doesn't like the fast life of Seoul, so they chose to live in the country side. They seldom comes to Seoul, mostly Jin and Namjoon visits them with Tae whenever they get time. The last time they came at the time of Tae's wedding and now they came for his birthday.

The older Kims are a cheerful couple who loves their grandson to the bits. They are really loving and down to earth.

"I missed you" Tae told his grandparents.

"Then why didn't you visit us?" His grandpa said.

"Sorry grandpa I was little busy" Tae told them.

"Hmm we can see what kept you busy" his grandma said teasingly as she broke the hug "after all you have a handsome husband now to keep you busy" she indicated to Jungkook who suddenly felt shy under the old woman's teasing gaze.

Tae looked at Jungkook and then at his grandparents "grandma, grandpa this is Jungkook, my husband" he introduced them.

"Oh we know that Taebear, we did attend your wedding" Mr Kim told him.

Jungkook bowed to the elder couple "annyeonghaseyo grandma grandpa, how are you?" He said to which the older couple didn't say anything, they just pulled the boy in a hug and patted his back "we are fine, son" they said.

Jungkook felt overwhelmed by the loving gesture of the older couple, he was rather scared, what if they didn't like him. Well you can't blame the poor boy, his experience with Tae's other grandmother was quite disastrous after all.

Jungkook broke the hug and smiled looking at the older couple "aigoo yebo he looks like a tokki" exclaimed Tae's grandma excitedly making Jungkook's ears turn pink. Tae laughed seeing his blushing husband. Suddenly they heard someone clearing her throat.

They turned back, and there standing Mrs Kim Seokja in all her glory.

Tae looked at his halmoni with apprehension, after the disastrous dinner this is the first time he's meeting her and he's not sure how to behave.

"Happy birthday Taehyung" Mrs Kim wished and hugged.

"Aah.. thank you halmoni" Tae replied in a awkward tone. He didn't expect her to hug him after what happened last time, but nonetheless he liked it.

As they broke the hug, Jungkook who was standing beside his husband bowed to Mrs Kim "hello halmoni, I hope you are doing fine" he said smiling.

Mrs Kim looked at the boy with kinda displeased eyes "I was doing fine until now" she sarcastically indicating that she didn't like to meet him.

Tae felt his good mood living him, his halmoni is doing it again, insulting Jungkook, he was going to retort back when he felt a hand holding his. Tae looked at the owner of the hand and saw Jungkook shaking his head as if asking him not to say anything. Tae closed his eyes and sighed, knowing Jungkook he knows the older wouldn't want him to fight with anyone that too on his birthday. So he controlled himself for his husband "enjoy the party halmoni, we need to meet other people so please excuse us" he told his halmoni and left from there, pulling Jungkook with him.

Jungkook stared at the boy who was pulling him, Tae was frowning hard and Jungkook did like to see him like that, so he stopped walking.

Tae turned back when he felt Jungkook not walking. Jungkook cupped Tae's face with one hand and messaged between his brows with the other "don't frown, it doesn't look good on your face" he told him.

Tae sighed hearing it "how can I not? Didn't you hear her? I just can't understand what's her problem is. I don't like it when she talks like that to you" he blurted out feeling frustrated on his halmoni.

Jungkook who was still cupping his face, said "let her be, she doesn't like me much that's why she talks like that. It's okay I don't mind it."

"Don't lie, I know you felt bad when she spoke like that" he argued.

"Trust me I didn't" Jungkook continued "but I'm feeling bad now" he said in a sad voice.

"Why, why are feeling bad now?" Tae asked in a worried tone.

"Because you are in abd mood, your evening got ruined because of me" Jungkook answered him in a upset voice.

Tae gasped hearing it "no Kookie what are you saying? My mood didn't get ruined because of you, I'm not in a bad mood" he hurriedly said.

"Then what is this frown doing on your beautiful face? Where did my baby's cute smile go?" Jungkook asked pouting.

Tae suddenly felt light, he smiled as he understood what the older is trying to do, he is trying lighten up his mood. Tae grinned mischievously as he said "see now the frown is gone and my smile is back. Are you feeling better now?"

To which Jungkook replied "very much" and he too grinned, his signature bunny smile adorning his lips.

"You know there are other people too in this party" came a voice from their back.
