Tae peeked through his fingers only to see his Jin still laughing.

"Eomma please stop laughing at me" he whined.

"Okay okay I won't" Jin said somehow stifling his laughter.

Tae finally removed his hands from his face and looked at his Eomma who was looking at him with eyes full of love "Eomma" he said and buried his face in Jin's chest who wrapped his arms around him "my Taebear" cooed.

They kept hugging each other for sometime. Then Jin pulled out of the hug and took the tray containing breakfast from the side table and placed it on the bed "here, have your breakfast" he told his son.

Tae looked at the breakfast "feed me" he said like a child.

Jin smiled looking at his cute son and started feeding him. After two bites Tae stopped him and asked "did you ate Eomma?"

"Hmm I did. Do you think your appa will leave me if I didn't?" Jin replied.

Hearing it Tae giggled "right, he won't, appa is so whipped for you" he said.

Jin gasped hearing his words "Taebear! Look at you, teasing your Eomma, do you want me to pull your ears, hmm?" He asked in mock anger to which Tae giggled even more.

He then he sobered up and asked "Eomma did Kookie had his breakfast before leaving?" He felt worried what if Jungkook left without eating.

Jin looked at his son, who was frowning, worried for his husband. He felt happy seeing Tae caring for Jungkook "yes, he had, I made him have it" he assured his son.

"Thanks Eomma" Tae told him smiling to which Jin replied "you don't have to thank me for it, he is my son too" he told his son.

"You are the best Eomma in the world, do you know that?" Tae said to Jin.

"Because I have the best son in the world" Jin replied and again started feeding his son.

After making Tae eat his breakfast, Jin send him to take shower and left the room to keep the plates in the kitchen.

Tae came out of his room all showered and fresh. He looked for his Eomma and found him sitting in the living room. He too went there.

Tae was going to where Jin was sitting on the couch, when his eyes fell on the vase on the table inside which was kept the purple roses that Jungkook gave him.

"Eomma, did you put these roses here?" He asked Jin who shook his head and answered "no, Jungkook kept them before he left for office, by the way those roses are beautiful."

"Aren't they?" Tae asked looking at those roses with soft eyes "Kookie got them for me" he said smiling "see he even put them in vase with water so they won't dry soon."

He went and laid on the couch keeping his head on Jin's lap, who started caressing his hair, "Eomma" Tae called.

"Hmm" Jin hummed.

"Are you angry on me because of how spoke with halmoni?" Tae asked.

Jin sighed hearing the question "maybe I should" he answered "but I can't because though it's wrong of you to talk like that with her, what you said wasn't wrong. She shouldn't have said those things to Jungkook."

"Hmm, you too know that right" Tae started "I know she doesn't know Kookie well but that doesn't mean she has to say those things, insult him, hurt him like that. Does she have any idea how sad Kookie was hearing her accusations but still he didn't said anything because she an elder, my halmoni" he told his Eomma.

"He was really hurt, wasn't he?" Jin inquired "did he say anything about it?"

"Eomma, you don't know Kookie, no matter how hurt, how sad he is, he never lets anyone know about it" Tae informed him "but I know he was really hurt, I can understand how he feels even though never says anything, his face, his eyes shows it all."

Jin looked at his son who again lost in his husband's thoughts "you are in love with your husband Taebear, I hope you realize it soon" he thought silently "I'll apologise to him when he gets home today for my Eomma's behavior" he let his son know.

"See Eomma I told you that you don't know him" Tae told him.

"Huh, why are you saying like that?" Jin asked puzzled.

"Do you think he will like it if you apologise to him?" Tae asked him "no, he won't, if anything he'll feel even more sad about it. He would never want it" he answered his own question.

"Hmm looks like you know very well" Jin said to him.

"Obviously, he is my Kookie" Tae told him, a beautiful boxy smile adorning his and then again he got lost in his kookie's thoughts.

Jin too smiled looking at his son who looked so lost in love.

It's evening now, Namjoon and Jungkook are coming back home from office, Jungkook is driving the car.

Jungkook spotted a ice cream parlor by the road, suddenly Tae's pouty face came to his mind. He stopped the car and looked at his father-in-law "appa please wait a minute, I'll just be back" he said to which Namjoon nodded his head.

After sometime Jungkook came back, Namjoon saw the said boy was holding something in his hand, ice cream take out pack.

Jungkook saw his father-in-law was looking at the ice cream "Tae wasn't in a good mood when I left this morning, so I got some ice cream for him, I hope it'll make him feel better" he explained to Namjoon who smiled and nodded his head in understanding. They again started their journey.

The Eomma son duo have spent the whole day together, the talked about anything and everything, enjoying each other's company.

Currently Jin is in the kitchen, making dinner and Tae is also there, nagging his Eomma to let him help.

"Taebear stop nagging me, I told you right I don't need any help, I can manage my own" Jin told his son who isn't letting him work in peace.

"Why not?" Tae whined "Kookie always lets me do it" he said pouting.

Jin looked at his incredulously "really, Taebear! He let's you help him" he said "tell how do you help him, by making mess I guess?" He teased his son.

"You are mean Eomma" Tae said to Jin, his lips still pouting "it's not like I always make mess."

Jin looked at him, his brows raised and a teasing smile on his lips as if asking 'are you sure you don't?'

Tae noticed his Eomma's teasing smile "okay I agree I make mess quite often" he said smiling sheepishly "but that's not important here, what I'm telling you is that I help him by handing him the things he needed, by tasting his food to see if the flavor is right or not" he proudly declared.

"I should've known that's the only thing Jungkook will let you do" Jin thought to himself "okay okay I too will let you do that" he told his son who rewarded him with a big grin "come on pass me the oil" Jin order and Tae happily handed it to him, happy that he got to help his Eomma.

Namjoon and Jungkook entered the apartment "we are home" Jungkook declared and saw happily smiling Tae skipping towards them.

"Appa, Kookie, you are back" Tae said excitedly. He went and hugged his father "I missed you appa" he said.

Namjoon smiled seeing his son all happy and patted his back "appa missed you too."

Jungkook smiled softly seeing the interaction between the father son duo. He felt at peace seeing his husband's bright smile, the boy is back to his usual self.

Namjoon noticed Jungkook gazing lovingly at his son "aah Tae where is Jinnie?" He asked breaking the hug, intending to go and find his husband and give the younger couple some privacy.

"Eomma is in kitchen" Tae informed him, to which he said "okay I'll go and meet him" and left from there, giving the couple the much needed privacy.

Both Tae and Jungkook looked at each other with fond eyes. Tae went wrapped his arms around the older who also hugged him with one hand, other still holding the ice cream "I missed you Kookie" Tae let him know.

"I missed you too baby" Jungkook told him. "Then why didn't you call me?" Tae asked pulling his head back and pouting, his hands still wrapped around the other.

"Sorry baby I didn't call, I didn't want to disturb your time with Eomma" Jungkook informed him "did you two made up?" He asked.

"Hmm we did" Tae smiled big "you know Kookie Eomma said he doesn't hate me, he never did" he said excitedly.

Jungkook looked at the smiling boy in his arm with loving eyes and placed some of Tae's golden locks behind his ears "I know, no one can hate you" he said, voice full of honesty.

Tae looked at Jungkook's eyes and lowered his head suddenly feeling shy under the older's love filled gaze.

"I hope you are happy now" Jungkook inquired to which the younger nodded his head in affirmation "I have something that will make you even more happy" he informed the boy and showed him the ice cream.

Tae's eyes shone seeing his favorite dessert "ice cream, for me?" He asked excitedly.

"Hmm for you" Jungkook told him and immediately Tae pecked his lips as a token of thanks that brought a big bunny smile on the older's face.

Their cute lovey moment got interrupted by a crashing sound.

Next came Jin's screeching voice "Joonie!"

The couple got startled hearing the loud voice and immediately went to the kitchen to see what the commotion is about.

As they reached there, they were greeted with the sight of a enraged Jin, holding a spatula in one hand and the other one on his waist, looking at his husband with narrowed eyes who was standing there looking down with a guilty face and there was a broken plate near his feet.

Tae understood what must have happened, his appa and his never ending saga of breaking things.

"Joonie, how many times did I tell to not to enter the kitchen?" Jin asked angrily.

"I just wanted to help you" the younger couple heard Namjoon mumbling.

Jungkook looked at his father-in-law, who was standing there with a guilty look on his face, pouting his lips. The scene looked familiar to him. He then looked to his side where his husband standing, looking incredulously at his parents and it dawned on him why the scene looked familiar, because that's how Tae looks when he makes any mess.

Tae felt someone's gaze on him and looked to his side only to find his husband looking at him "well when it comes to breaking things and making mess no one can outshine my appa, the god of destruction, Mr Kim Namjoon" he informed the older.

Surprised Jungkook looked at his husband then to the front where his Jin was still scolding his husband. He shook his head "like father, like son" he thought.

After the kitchen episode, where Jin finally let his husband off the hook after scolding him for good five minutes, he called everyone for dinner. They enjoyed the dinner with laughter and occasional teasing.

After dinner Tae got a bowl of ice cream and sat in the living room, stuffing his mouth with spoonful of the delicious dessert, enjoying it like a little kid. The other three people in the room looked at this grown up baby with love filled gaze.

Jungkook looked at his In-laws "Eomma, appa will you please come with me? I want to talk to you about something, in private" he said the last words glancing at the Tae who was lost in enjoying his dessert.

"Okay let's go" the older couple left with their son-in-law.

Jungkook took them to the balcony in his room.

"Eomma, appa" Jungkook started "I want to apologise to you" he told them.

The couple looked at him, puzzled why he is suddenly apologizing, "apologise for what?" Namjoon asked.

"I want to apologise to you, for not telling you earlier about Tae, about his attempts of... umm.. ah.." Jungkook struggled to say the word 'suicide' but he couldn't bring himself to say it.

Both Jin and Namjoon looked at the struggling boy with eyes full of sympathy, they can understand his struggle.

"Believe me Eomma, Appa" Jungkook continued "I didn't want to hide it from you but I... I.." he sighed and closed his eyes "I didn't want to remember that dark phase, that's why I didn't tell you about it, please don't misunderstand my intentions" he told them.

Namjoon pulled the boy in a hug, Jin too joined them "you don't need to explain it to us we understand how you feel" Namjoon said. "yes we do, and you don't need to apologise to us" Jin added "if anything we should thank you for saving our child" he patted Jungkook's back.

They broke the hug, Jungkook looked at them with gratitude, feeling grateful that they didn't misunderstand him "he is the only one I have, I'll do anything to keep him safe, you don't have to thank me for it" he told them honestly.

The older couple looked affectionately at the boy in front of them, "how much he cares for our Taebear" Jin thought and he felt ashamed of what his mother did.

Jin decided to apologise to Jungkook from his mother's behalf "Jungkook I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday, about what my Eomma did, if you can please forgi..."

Jungkook didn't let him complete his words "please Eomma, don't say like this, don't say sorry to me. I'm not angry or anything for what halmoni said, after all she was just looking out for her grandson, I understand it. But if you apologise to me, It will make me really sad" he said to Jin.

"Hmm so what Tae said was right indeed" Jin mused.

Jungkook looked at him, puzzled what Tae might have said "what did he say?" He asked curious.

"Well he said, you won't like it if I apologise to you, you'll feel sad hearing it" Jin continued "I guess he was right when he said that he knows you well" he informed Jungkook.

Jungkook smiled hearing it, how well his baby knows him, this thought made him happy.

Jin looked at the boy who was smiling dreamily by the mention of his husband "looks like my Taebear isn't the only one who is falling for his husband, it's the same case with Jungkook too" he felt happy thinking this.

The trio came back to the living room only to find a grumpy Tae sitting there, lips pouting, cheeks puffing, the empty ice cream bowl kept in front him.

As the grumpy boy saw the trio, he narrowed his eyes "you guys are meanie, you left me alone here" complained, his lips still pouting.

The trio almost cooed at the cute site he made. Jungkook went and sat beside him "sorry Tae, we left you alone here, actually I needed to discuss something with Eomma Appa that's why, but still I'm sorry, please baby don't be mad at us" he pleaded.

Jin too went to his son "yes Taebear please forgive us" he said.

Tae looked at his parents and his kookie who were looking pleadingly at him "okay I'll forgive you" he told them "but I need a group huggie" he demanded. Immediately the trio enclosed him in a group hug which brought a big smile on his face.

The next day finally Mrs Kim Seokja met her son and son-in-law at breakfast.

"I didn't saw you two yesterday" he told the couple.

"We went to meet Taebear and when we came back it was already late, so we didn't disturb you" Jin informed his mother.

"Oh I see, how is he?" Mrs Kim asked.

"He's okay now" Jin told her.

"Good, good" Mrs Kim continued "well Seokjin I'm sorry about what happened that day in dinner, I didn't want to cause you trouble" she said.

"You don't have to say sorry to me" Jin started "the one you should apologise to is not me, it's Jungkook to whom you need to say sorry" Jin told her firmly.

Mrs Kim looked at her son with displeased eyes "I'll not apologise to that boy, never" she continued "you may not be able to see his true colors, but I know the likes of him. People like him..."

Before she could say anything more Namjoon stopped her "please eomeonim I'm requesting you politely, don't insult my son-in-law in my house, next time I may not be able help myself from being rude" he told her.

Mrs Kim did say anything more but she thought "nothing you say can convince me about that boy, he is just too humble to be true, I know someday he is going to show his true colors and that day you will regret trusting him with your son."

If only she knew there will come a day when she will regret everything wrong thing she thought and said about Jungkook.
