The couple is still in each other's arms, still revelling in their passionate kiss. Tae is seating on Jungkook's lap, face flushed while the later is lovingly kissing his forehead. The couple was lost in their own world.

Suddenly Tae's phone rang, bringing them back to the reality. Tae took the phone from table and saw his Eomma calling.

He tried to get up from Jungkook's lap but the older tightened his arms around him not letting him get up. Tae looked at him questioningly, to which Jungkook shook his head as if asking him not to get up and pouted his lips trying to put on a puppy face like Tae does whenever he wants to get something. It actually seemed to work.

Tae silently laughed seeing his face, according to him the older looked too cute trying to pull a puppy face. He pinched his cheek which earned him a grin from the older. Nevertheless he didn't get up from Jungkook's lap, leaned on him and answered the call.

"Hello Taebear" came Jin's voice from the other end.

"H..hello E..Eomma" Tae's voice came out a little hoarse voice.

"Bub are you okay?" Jin asked concerned "why are sounding like that?"

Now what should Tae answer to this question, that his husband has kissed him to Oblivion, making him almost loose his voice. Obviously he can't say that to his Eomma, so tried he to make some excuse "aah.. umm... I fell asleep while studying and just woke up hearing my phone ringing, maybe that's why my voice came out like this. You don't need to worry Eomma, I'm okay" he somehow managed to say.

"Oh okay if you say so" Jin told him "how's Jungkook?"

Tae looked at the boy his Eomma asked about, only to find him smirking at him silently teasing him for his poor excuse. He glared at Jungkook and "Kookie is okay too" told his Eomma.

"Hmm that's good" Jin continued "actually I need to tell you something. Eomma is here."

"You mean halmoni?" Tae asked in a apprehensive tone. Jungkook looked at him, alarmed at his tone.

"Yes" came the reply "she wants to meet you and Jungkook that is the reason I'm calling you. You two need come here tomorrow, for dinner" Jin informed him.

"Eomma" Tae sounded unsure "are you sure it's a good idea?" he asked in a concerned tone. He is not unaware of the underlying tension between his appa and halmoni, though he doesn't really have an idea what is the reason for it but he knows his halmoni is not really fond of his father and for that matter even appa too seemed to be not much of a fan of her either, his Eomma always seems to be walking on eggshells whenever those two are present in the same place.

To tell you the truth, he too kinda feels unsettled in that old woman's presence. Well there is no doubt that she loves him but there is something really intimidating about her. Her eyes always seems to be judging everything around her. And he's not sure about making Jungkook meet her Just yet. He doesn't want Jungkook to face her judging ways.

"It will be okay bub" Jin assured his son "both me and your appa will be there, don't worry. You just make sure to reach here in time. You know right she doesn't like to wait."

"Hmm okay. We'll be there in time" Tae told him.

"Okay then, I'll hang up now, goodnight Taebear"

"Goodnight Eomma" Tae replied and Jin hung up the call.

Jungkook looked at the frowning face of the younger "what happened baby? You look worried, is everything okay with Eomma Appa?" he asked concerned.

Tae looked at his concerned face and sighed "they are okay. It's just that halmoni is here and she wants to meet us, we need to go there tomorrow for dinner" he told his husband.

"Isn't it a good news that your halmoni is here?" Jungkook asked puzzled "don't you want to meet her? Why do you look worried?"

"It's not that I don't want to meet to her or I'm not happy to meet her" Tae nervously answered him "it's just that my halmoni is quite strict and kinda intimidating too so I'm a little nervous about this meeting. I don't want anything to go wrong."

"Common baby you don't need to be nervous" Jungkook comforted him "I'm sure she loves you and will be happy to meet you. Don't worry nothing will go wrong. I'll be there with you okay."

"I'm not worried for myself Kookie. I'm worried about you meeting her. I don't want her to judge you or behave rudely with you" he silently thought but didn't say it aloud.

"Hmm okay" he said and buried his head in the older's neck, breathing in Jungkook's unique scent that seemed to calm him.

Jungkook didn't like to see him worried but he didn't say anything. He just kept sitting there, holding Tae in his arms and rubbing his back gently.

It's time for the couple to leave for the dinner invitation. They are both dressed in suits. Jungkook is wearing a bluish grey suit with a light blue shirt underneath while Tae is donning a dark blue suit with light pink shirt under it.

The couple sat in Jungkook's car and left for their destination.

Jungkook stopped the car before a flower shop and got out of it . He went inside the shop and got a bouquet of pink peonies. Tae had told him that his those are his halmoni's favorite so he got them for her. While getting the flowers his eyes fell on a small bouquet purple roses. He knows Tae likes them so he got that bouquet too.

After getting the flowers Jungkook came back to the car and placed the peonies in the backseat. He then sat on the driver's seat, "these are for you" he said handing the bouquet of purple rose to Tae.

Tae smiled big seeing the roses "oh Kookie thank you so much for these" he squeaked feeling elated after receiving the beautiful flowers. He really likes purple roses but as those are rare it's not often when he gets them. "How come he always knows what I like" he thought looking lovingly at Jungkook.

"Really, you like them?" Jungkook asked him.

"I love them Kookie" Tae let him know with a big boxy smile and Jungkook felt really contended seeing his baby so happy.

Tae rewarded Jungkook by kissing him on his cheek "you are the best Kookie" he said and a Jungkook's face lightened in cute bunny smile.

After their cute moment in the car the couple once again started to their destination.

Finally they reached Kim Mansion. Jungkook parked the car and got out of it. He went to Tae's side and opened the door for him.

Tae placed the rose bouquet that he was holding on the car's dashboard and got down. Jungkook then got the peonies from the back seat "let's go" he said.

But Tae didn't budge. He made Jungkook stand in front of him and started fussing over his clothes, dusting the invisible dusts, smoothening the invisible crinkles, checking if the tie is crooked.

Jungkook looked incredulously at the boy nervously fussing over him. He held Tae's hand and the younger looked at him "what are you doing Kookie? Leave my hand, let me get your clothes right" he almost freaked out.

Jungkook just kissed his forehead and leaned his forehead on Tae's "ssh.. baby relax, stop panicking. Everything is alright. We are just going to have dinner not war. Don't be so nervous, okay" he said staring into the younger's eyes.

Tae closed his eyes for moment and sighed "hmm you are right" he finally opened his eyes and looked at Jungkook "let's go."

"Hmm" Jungkook said and held Tae's hand in his. Hand in hand they went to the front door and pressed the door bell.

Jin opened the door "Taebear, Jungkook you are here! Please come in" he invited the couple in.

Tae and Jungkook entered the house. Tae hugged his Eomma, Jin too hugged him back and patted his head.

Jungkook too hugged him "how are you Eomma?" he asked.

"I'm fine Jungkook." Jin smiled at him "let's go to the living room, Eomma and Joonie are waiting for you" he ushered the couple to the living room.

Tae saw his appa and halmoni was sitting on two chairs, far away from each other. As they're eyes fell on the couple, they both stood up.

Jin took them to his mother. Tae hugged his grandmother "how are you halmoni?" he asked politely.

"I'm fine. How are you Taehyung?" She inquired.

"I'm fine too."

Mrs Kim looked at the man standing beside her grandson and asked "so this is your husband?"

"Yes, halmoni." Tae answered "halmoni meet Jungkook, my husband" he introduced Jungkook to his grandmother.

"Annyeonghaseyo halmoni, I'm Jeon Jungkook" Jungkook bowed "I'm really pleased to meet you. Here these are for you" he smiled and handed her the bouquet of peonies.

Mrs Kim looked at the boy smiling like a bunny and received the flowers " thank you" she said.

Tae saw his halmoni staring at Jungkook's cute smile "I hope kookie's cute smile works on her like it does on everyone else" he thought. And it did seem to be working when he noticed his halmoni's gaze turning slightly soft but that soft gaze didn't last long.

"Jungkook how are you?" Namjoon asked his son-in-law to which Jungkook answered "I'm fine appa."

Tae saw his halmoni looking at Jungkook with judging eyes but he couldn't understand why?

But Jin, who also noticed his mother's judging gaze, understood the reason for it. His mother did like the way Jungkook called Namjoon appa, in a informal way.

Though Mrs Kim Seokja is an well educated lady, she wears mordern clothes, follows mordern etiquette but when it comes to certain things she still likes to follow the old orthodox ways. That is also the reason why Namjoon addresses her as eomeonim.

"Aah.. I think we should head to the dinning room now. It's getting late and we don't want all the food to get cold, do we?" he tried to manage the situation by ushering them to the dinner table.

Thankfully the dinner went well without any hassle, mostly because Mrs Kim doesn't like talking while eating so they all ate silently.

After dinner they sat in the living room talking a little while having drinks.

"So Jungkook" Mrs Kim looked said "you are working in Namjoon's company?"

"Here stars the interview" Tae mentally rolled his eyes.

"Yes halmoni" Jungkook answered.

"How long?"

"Four years"

"You grew up in an orphanage right?" Mrs Kim inquired.

"Yes" came the answer.

"What about your parents?" She further inquired.

Tae frowned hearing the question. He didn't like it. He knows Jungkook is sensitive about his parents, he knows Jungkook will surely feel sad at the mention of his parents.

And he knew he was right when he heard Jungkook answering in a small voice "they died when I was seven."

"Ohh I'm sorry hearing hearing about it" Mrs Kim said to which Jungkook just nodded his head.

"Huh, if you really feel sorry then you shouldn't have spoken about it in the first place. It's not like you don't know about him growing up in Orphanage" Tae thought annoyed at his grandmother. He held Jungkook's hand and squeezed it in a comforting way to which Jungkook looked at him and smiled a little as if saying 'I'm okay'.

"So where are you guys living now?" Mrs Kim continued with her question session.

"In my apartment in BH housing complex" Jungkook informed her.

"Why are you living there? Didn't you father-in-law gift you house in wedding?"

"We wanted to" this time Namjoon answered her question"but he refused saying he doesn't want anything else except Tae." He felt proud of his son-in-law while saying this.

Tae looked at Jungkook, eyes full of admiration. He didn't know about this but now knowing it he felt his respect for Jungkook increasing even more.

But none of this bothered Mrs Kim as she continued "are you happy with Taehyung?"

"Yes, I'm very happy with him" Jungkook's voice and eyes are full of honesty.

" I guess youou are willing to let him complete his studies, right?" She farther inquired.

"Sure" Jungkook answered.

He felt his throat went dry after answering all these questions so he took a ship of his drink but it would have been better if he didn't because the next question that Mrs Kim asked was,

"Good to hear that. But I hope you are not planning to make him pregnant just yet, he's still a kid you know right?"

Jungkook chocked on his drink and started coughing heavily, his face and ears turning pink.

Tae immediately rubbed his back "Kookie you okay?" he asked worried, to which Jungkook nodded his head after getting a grip on his coughing.

Tae looked irritatedly at his halmoni "halmoni, why would you ask him that? Don't you think it's our private matter? And I'm not a kid, I know what's better for me." He told her.

Jungkook looked wide eyed at his husband "does he even have any idea what his words are implying?" He thought.

"Okay okay I won't ask anything private to your husband" Mrs Kim told her grandson.

"So Jungkook I'll just ask one more thing" she said "why did you marry Taehyung?"

Jungkook looked at her thinking how should he answer this question. What he can possibly say but before he could say anything Mrs Kim continued "I hope you didn't do it because of the fortune he inherits? You are not going to harm him for his wealth or worse get rid of him once you get your hands in his money, are you?" She looked straight at the man sitting in front of her, her tone accusing.

Jungkook was dumbstruck hearing her words or should I say accusations. Harming Tae, getting rid of him for his wealth, did she really think so little of him? Did he really come across as a greedy untrustworthy person? He thought, his heart feeling heavy. Is it because he is an orphan? He felt a squeez in his heart thinking about it.

Namjoon felt his blood boiling hearing his mother-in-law's words, how could she accuse Jungkook of something like that? How could she insult his son-in-law in his presence? He thought enraged.

Jin too felt angry hearing it. Even if his mother doesn't know Jungkook well, saying something like that is not acceptable. He was going to talk some sense into her when......

ENOUGH.....

Someone shouted loudly.
