The next morning when Tae woke up, he found himself tangled up with someone. That someone is none other than his husband. Tae rubbed his eyes to get rid of the sleepiness and looked at the sleep male in his arms.

Jungkook was sleeping hugging him tightly as if Tae is going to vanish if he will loosen his arms.

Tae looked at his sleeping face. To Tae he looked like a defenseless child while sleeping. And may be he is, Tae thought.

To the world Jungkook is a strong mature person, confident, very much intelligent, wise beyond his age. But Tae can see deep down he is still a little child who is scared of loosing people. He is still the seven years old boy who lost his parents on his birthday. He is afraid of being left alone. And last night was a living proof of it.

Tae felt like someone is squeezing his heart as he remembered Jungkook's painful sobs from the previous night. He still felt angry on himself that he is the one who caused it. He didn't know how it happened but he can't seem to bear Jungkook's tears just like he can't bear to see his eomma crying.

He remembered how he had promised Jungkook that he is never going to leave him without even a moments hesitation. It just felt like the right thing to do in that moment. And he doesn't regret making that promise.

He doesn't know what future awaits for them, where his life is going. But one thing is sure he likes the idea of living with Jungkook all his life. He had no idea how it happened, how he who once claimed to hate Jungkook is now willing to spend all his life with him. But then Jungkook is that kind of a person with whom anyone would want to spend their life. He is very handsome true but that's not all he is. He is humble, compassionate, hardworking, a true gentleman and not to mention way too caring. Tae knows the older cares way too much for him and somehow down the way he too had started caring for him. He had came to like the older's cute bunny smile, he had started to hate his tears.

Tae doesn't know what he feels for Jungkook. Yes he likes him, well not liking the older isn't something possible but Tae doesn't know if he likes him in the romantic way. He doesn't know if he really is falling for the older like how Jimin claims. But then the idea of falling in love with someone actually scares him. He did once and it ended way too badly. He was way too hurt, broken after what happened.

But then again it was Jungkook who stayed with him in those dark hours of his life, held him together. Had Jungkook not been there, he sure would have ended up doing something stupid that night. And that would have caused great pain to his parents for whom he is their life. He almost did it, but thankfully Jungkook was there to stop him, to help him. And he would forever be thankful for that.

Maybe he should listen to his appa's words. Maybe he should give his relationship with Jungkook a chance. They may not be lover but can become each other's companion. And maybe someday love will find it's way. His parents are the one who chose Jungkook for him and he knows they would always do what is in his best interest. Yes he will give themselves a chance, he thought determinedly.

Tae looked at the sleeping male in his arms and traced his scar with his thumb "I'll keep my promise Kookie. I'll never leave you. I'll give ourselves a chance. Because you deserve it. I don't know if I'll be able to love you but I'll always be here for you. But please don't ever cry. It hurts me so much to see tears in your eyes. I promise I won't let you cry anymore. Because tears doesn't suit you only your cute bunny smile looks good on your face" Tae said and gently kissed the sleeping males forehead.

He then gently untangled himself from the sleeping male and got up from the bed. He decided to let Jungkook sleep for some more time. He surely looks tired. Anyways it's Saturday so they didn't have office or school so there's no need for the older to get up early. And while he sleeps Tae will have another go in making breakfast. With this thoughts Tae placed his pillow between between Jungkook's arms, who immediately snuggled with it and left for washroom to freshen up.

Jungkook found himself snuggled up with Tae's pillow when he woke. He sat up on the bed still drowsy from sleep. He heard a click and saw Tae coming out of the washroom all freshen up.

"Good morning Kookie" Tae greeted smiling as he noticed the older sitting on the bed.

"Good morning" Jungkook replied in sleepy voice.

"You should have slept some more. Why did you woke up? You don't have office today." Tae told him.

"No it's ok. I've slept enough. Plus I need to make breakfast" the older replied.

"I can manage it, making breakfast. You sleep some more" Tae suggested.

Jungkook looked wide eyed at the boy in front of him. Letting Tae make breakfast. Well no thank you very much Jungkook isn't gonna let that happened.

"No no no you don't have to do anything. You will make a mess in the kitchen" Jungkook said before he could stop himself but then bit his tongue seeing Tae looking down with sad face pouting his lips.

"I know I always make mess and you have to clear it" the younger said in a small sad voice.

Jungkook felt like slapping himself hearing it "look what you did Jungkook. He just wanted to cook for you. But you had to run this stupid mouth of yours and make him sad first thing in the morning. You are an idiot" he beat himself mentally.

He got up from the bed and went to where Tae was standing, his face still downcast. Jungkook cupped his face and made him look at him "I didn't mean it like that. I just don't want you to get hurt. But I'm an idiot. I made you sad. I'm sorry please baby forgive this stupid Kookie and smile" he said.

"I will but you have to let me help you in making breakfast" Tae told him looking at him with his big hopeful eyes.

Jungkook couldn't say no seeing the younger's hopeful face, so agreed "ahh okay but promise me you won't get hurt"

"Promise" Tae said, showing his cute boxy smile.

"Okay then I'll go freshen up and then we will make breakfast" Jungkook told him and kissed his forehead "and thank you for last night" with this he left for his room leaving a beaming Tae behind.

As promised Jungkook let Tae help him while making breakfast. They made pancakes, Tae's favorite and had their food having small talks.

After breakfast Tae told Jungkook to wait in the living room and went inside his room. He came with a shopper in his hand and handed it to the older.

"Umm this is for you. I saw it while we were shopping for Jimin and I thought it'll suit you. So um.. I got it for you. Hope you like it" he said blushing a little. Though he had no idea why he was blushing.

Jungkook looked at the blushing male and then looked inside and found a brown leather jacket in it. He got it out and looked at it. The jacket is really cool, just like the kind of thing he likes. "I love it. It's just like how I like. Thanks baby for this gift" he said, his voice laced with emotion, eyes shinning, a beautiful smile bloomed on his lips.

He felt emotional receiving the gift from Tae. The first gift from his husband. After years he got a gift from someone who is his family. When his parents were alive they used to gift him things. Sure his friends did gift him things and not to forget the gifts he received from all the girls and boys who had crush on him. But this gift is different. It's special, because the one who gifted it is special himself. He is his husband. He is his only family. He is his......

Tae too felt emotional seeing his happily smiling face. How little it takes to make him happy, he thought. He felt a weird feeling in his stomach, his heart went thump. He just couldn't hold himself, he went to where the older was standing and hugged him tightly surprising the older.

Jungkook got surprised at the sudden hug but then Tae loves to give surprise hugs, he thought and hugged the younger back.

"If this simple gift can make you so happy, can bring such a beautiful smile on your face, then Kookie, I'll always keep gifting you. But you just keep smiling like this always" Tae told voice heavy with emotions.

And just like that Jungkook's heart went thump.
