THIRD PERSON POV-

Taegguk was so excited, sitting in between his parents and flying above the world, talking to the soft clouds and fighting with the wind in the way as they flew to Jeju Island for a week long vacation.

The brunette looked at his mother who was looking out of the window to his father who was busy looking at some random magazine making the boy roll his eyes but an amazing idea immediately came to his mind.

"Mom!"

"Hmm?" Taehyung asked looking at his son who made a cute face.

"Will you exchange your seat with me. I wanna look out." He said showing his puppy eyes. Jungkook looked at his son smiling while Taehyung nodded.

Once the brunette got settled in his seat, he looked at his parents who were looking at each other awkwardly sitting side by side. Taegguk shook his head in disbelief and looked out at the blue expanse of never ending sky as his work was done.

Jungkook closed the magazine and placed it in its position. Taehyung shifted in his seat a little and tried to ignore the fact that his husband was staring at him right now.

He shifted again uncomfortably making the ravenette frown.

"Tae .....what happened?" He asked concerned.

"N-Nothing." The blonde replied immediately shaking his head nervously. Jungkook nodded and the blonde wanted to smack himself for behaving like some stupid.

When he couldn't understand what he should do, he closed his eyes and let himself take some rest. The vacation was planned in a hurry that he felt exhausted after packing his stuff making him immediately drift to sleep while the ravenette still stared at his beautiful husband with heart eyes.

Taehyung's head fell to side making the blonde stir in his sleep. He again sat straight and closed his eyes.

Jungkook looked at his husband hesitantly. When Taehyung's head again started to loll to his side, he bent his shoulder towards the blue eyed male and sighed in relief when Taehyung's head finally rested on it.

A proud smile immediately made its way to the ravenette's lips and he looked straight only to see Jin looking at him. Jungkook gave him a smile making the handsome male nod his head impressively. The ravenette averted his eyes a little only to see Jimin glaring at him. Jungkook licked his lips nervously and looked down when the silver haired boy averted his eyes rudely while Taegguk patted his own shoulder looking at his parents.

Both of them looked so good together.

He looked out again blankly, hoping what he was doing will turn out to be right decision for his mother.

Taegguk can't see him crying again but he trusted his father for not letting him down this time.

The dream of a happy family that was blooming in his heart secretly, his father's guilty confession and his mother's weak smiles had made the boy fight against all odds to plan this vacation.

FLASHBACK!

Taegguk entered namjin's house determined. He knew what he wanted.

Namjin and Yoonmin were waiting in the living room for the brunette while Ara played some game on his father's phone. All of them smiled at Gguk when the boy threw his bag onto the couch and sat beside it.

'' Hey Guys....Everyone is here?'' He asked enthusiastically while everyone else nodded.

''.....Good. I knew Chim uncle will drag Yoon Uncle here successfully.'' The brunette added when he saw Yoongi rolling his eyes boredly. He knew that Yoongi must be sleeping in some corner of the house.

''Let's get to the point, Kid.....'' Yoongi tried to sound rude but the smile in his eyes said otherwise. All of them chuckled in unison.

''So.....Can we know why you called all of us here in urgency?'' Jimin asked curiously. Taegguk looked at him for a moment before nodding and looking down.

''I asked all of you to gather here because I wanted your help.''

''Help?'' Everyone asked confused. Taegguk nodded and looked up at Namjoon.

''Joonie Uncle....You know dad better than anyone else....right?'' Namjoon nodded hesitantly.

''And you agree than he has changed over the years.....right?'' Everyone became puzzled and looked at the brunette with knitted brows.

''Why are you asking me that, Gguk.....You know it yourself too.'' Namjoon replied only to make Jimin roll his eyes.

''Because what I am thinking can prove out to be the best or the worst decision in the long run. It all depend on Dad now.'' He replied weakly.

''What do you mean?'' Jin asked perplexed.

''Jin Uncle.... Back in Paris, I never wanted to even see my father. I loathed him with everything yet there was a part of mine that craved for him. A part of me always wanted the love only my father could give, a hollow that only his presence could fill..... Mom gave me the best childhood he could gift me.....he never let me feel any kind of insecurity.....yet I secretly wanted my father to be there.....'' Taegguk paused and Jimin felt his mouth sour.

''What do you wanna say, Gguk.....are you questioning Tae's parenting? Don't tell me you are deciding to stay with Jungkook after these six months are over!'' He asked sharply. Taegguk shook his head while yoongi held Jimin's hand when he saw tears pooling in the silver haired boy's eyes.

''You are getting me wrong, Chim Uncle....you know I can never do that. I will never leave Mom's side at any cost......for nothing at all.'' He replied determined.

''Bu-''

''Jimin....let him complete first......let's hear him out.'' Namjoon interrupted Jimin who nodded after a moment of silence.

''I was just trying to say that even when I never saw my father, never felt his presence, never experienced how It feel to be pampered by a father, I still wanted to get a chance to live with him...'' He paused again.

''We are listening, Gguk!'' Yoongi encouraged the boy who took a deep breathe.

''I was desperate to be loved by him even when he abandoned me even before my birth then what about Mom? No matter what, he love Dad with his everything.'' he asked stunning everyone.

''Please think about it with calm mind. I am not being biased towards anyone. I only want Mom to be happy. What I am saying is anyone...even a blind can see his love for Dad in his eyes, his actions. How can we think that he will be happy staying away from Dad?'' He asked again while everyone else in the living room was too overwhelmed to say anything.

''Since the day I was born, I have never seen the shine in his eyes that I see when he is around Dad, the silent stares they share, the awkward touches they feel, the hesitant smiles, the nervous talks....everything tell that Mom still love Dad....he still care about him. He still want Dad to be a part of his life.'' Gguk explained making Jimin shake his head.

''You are right, Gguk.....Taehyung loved that man. He was a fool to love Jungkook like crazy and that mistake of his costed him miseries of a lifetime. He had gone through so much that I am sure he don't wanna even see his face now.'' The silver haired boy spat angrily.

Taegguk sighed and looked at Jin who looked down because somewhere, Jimin was right. Jungkook WAS the cause behind Taehyung's miseries.

''Chim Uncle, you are not trying to understand, I-''

''I am understanding, Gguk....I can see what you are trynna do. You want your mom to forget everything and forgive a man who never showed any mercy on him. You may have forgot Taehyung's tears but i haven't. I had witnessed him crying in his fever for your father. I had held his shaking figure when Jungkook threw him out of his house.'' Jimin was by now huffing in anger.

''I am not saying that Mom should forget everything.''

''Then what are you trying to say, Jeon Taegguk?'' Jimin asked irritated. The brunette took a deep breathe shaking his head.

''I accept what Dad did was wrong, utterly wrong. There is no justification of his actions, Chim uncle and I agree on that. He gave so many tears to Mom, I know but what now? That was past but what about future?'' Taegguk asked making Jimin look at him narrowly.

''What about future? He is going back as soon as these six months are over.''

''And you think he will be happy?''

''Why won't he?

''No question for a question, Chim Uncle.'' Taegguk replied politely while everyone else in the living room looked at the duo in action.

''He will be happy if he kept his distance from Jungkook. That man can only give him tears...nothing else.'' Jimin replied determined.

''Was he happy for last seventeen years then?'' Taegguk asked looking at Jimin blankly who rolled his eyes.

''Tell me, Chim Uncle....Was your bestie happy staying away from his husband for seventeen years? Tell me he never cried? Tell me he never craved for a complete family?'' Taegguk asked desperately, tears shining in his doe eyes.

''He had always craved for a family, Gguk....since the day he was born, he had lived alone. No one knows better then me how much he want a family but this dream, this craving is only giving him pain. Its better that he bury this craving somewhere deep and find his happiness in you.'' Jimin replied, his hatred towards Jungkook only increasing.

''Why are you not understanding, Chim Uncle? That's his only dream, how will he live without it?''

''What he went through wasn't enough to break this dream of his? huh?''

''Unfortunately not....'' Taegguk replied sharply but immediately sighed to cool himself down.

''I know this isn't easy. I understand Mom has gone through hell. I know he isn't as strong as he appear to be but you will also have to understand that his complaints against Dad are not enough to override his feelings for his husband. He may hate dad for what he did but he will never stop loving him and this helplessness to not being able to supress his feelings will keep giving him pain.'' Taegguk paused to see Jimin huff.

''You have seen his tears, Chim Uncle but I have seen the helpless eyes of Mom looking at Dad secretly, I have seen him worrying for Dad when he comes home late. I have seen his eyes shining when Dad is laughing......I have seen the portrait of Dad hidden in his cupboard. Isn't that enough to prove what he want?'' Taegguk asked making everyone think for a moment.

''You are right, Gguk....But what if Jungkook left Taehyung hurt again in the end?'' Jin asked unsurely.

''You have a doubt, Jinnie?'' Taegguk asked blankly.

''Looking at what he did, I am sorry but I am concerned about Tae. If Jungkook cared about Taehyung's feelings, he would never had filed a case for your custody and if he wanted Taehyung in his life, he would never have decided to divorce him.'' Jin's concern was justified and Jimin nodded in agreement.

''Right....he would have tried to earn Taehyung's forgiveness.'' Jimin added while Namjoon was silent.

''I talked to Dad about that....'' Taegguk replied after a moment of silence making everyone look at him curiously.

''He regret what he did in past....''

''That will not change anything in past, Gguk......His regrets are of no use for Taehyung. It will never ease the hurt your mom went through'' Jimin replied.

''If you know that Past can't be changed then why are we talking about past?'' Gguk's question left Jimin speechless.

''This is present, Chim Uncle.....Shouldn't we be concerned about what Mom wants in present?'' Taegguk asked helplessly.

''Did Taehyung told you that he want Jungkook in his present and future with him?'' Jimin asked irritated. He couldn't understand why the fuck were they discussing this topic.

''Did Mom told you that he doesn't want Dad in his present and future with him?'' Gguk counter questioned.

''I know he will only suffer in the end.''

''And what if he got everything he craved for in the end?''

''If Taehyung wanted things to be otherwise, he would have forgive Jungkook by now.'' Jimin replied ending the conversation but Taegguk wasn't ready to listen.

''You are right, he would have but his self respect will never let him do that.''

''Then the discussion ends here.....Its good that Taehyung is prioritising his self respect and dignity over his stupid one sided feelings.'' Yoongi sighed and squeezed Jimin's hand to calm him down.

''I am also happy that Mom is putting himself first but what about his happiness?''

''Gguk...why are you being stubborn?''

''Coz I can't see Mom fighting with his own self everyday!''

''But that-''

''Jimin....'' Namjoon interrupted. The silver haired boy looked at Namjoon who sighed and looked at Taegguk.

''Gguk....You know Taehyung will never put aside his self respect and he should not. That's a good thing but what you are saying is also right. Both of their happiness lies in each oth-''

''That's bullshit. Jeon Jungkook don't care about my best friend. If you are forgetting, both of them are getting divorced!'' Jimin didn't let Namjoon finish.

''Dad is not signing divorce papers!!'' Taegguk finally revealed making everyone turn to him. The brunette licked his lips nervously and fiddled with his fingers for a moment.

''What? What do you mean by that, Gguk?'' Jin asked shocked.

''I t-talked to him. He did all this to get some time to earn Mom's and mine forgiveness. He will take the custody case back too before these six months are over. He want me to stay with Mom.'' Taegguk informed all of them. The living room was consumed by shock and silence.

Namjoon was also lost. He knew Jungkook was planning something but he didn't know what it was but now, everything was crystal clear.

''And you bought his shit?'' Jimin asked, sarcastic chuckle leaving his lips at the end of the sentence. Taegguk looked at the silver haired boy confused while everyone else were still trying to process the information provided to them by Taegguk.

''Like he said, what he did to earn Taehyung's forgiveness?''

''He tried Chim Uncle but he feel like its only hurting Mom more so he is giving up!''

''When both of them are ready to let go then what's the point, Gguk?'' Jimin asked desperately.

''Point is that, Chim Uncle, that none of them will be happy. Dad will let Mom go coz of his guilt and Mom will never say that he want to stay because of his self respect. We will have to do something!'' Taegguk replied desperately. He can't just let everything go knowing very well that his family will break apart in two months if he didn't do anything.

''We can do nothing, Gguk.....It should be only Taehyung's decision.'' Jin spoke for the first time. Placing himself in place of the blonde, Jin realised how hard it must be for Taehyung tp trust Jungkook again and if they meddled in their business, the blonde may feel pressurised to forgive Jungkook.
