''Mom...what are you painting today?'' The brunette asked playing with the different paint brushes while Taehyung put an apron to protect his clothes from the colours.

It was evening and Taehyung was on the terrace once again. Its his favourite part of Jeon Mansion. The soft wind never cease here and the sky always keep his eyes on this open place. Taehyung feel so relaxed here.

''Love and Hate.'' The blue eyed male replied smiling at his son who made a thinking face.

''Love and Hate? How will you paint both emotions in a single painting?'' He asked confused. Taehyung giggled and ruffled his son's hairs and picked up the colour palette.

''Its easy.... Hate and Love are not much different from each other.''

''Really? How?''

''Love has passion in it, so does hate. Love has insanity, so does hate. Love keep stuck you to a person, so does hate, in fact, love snatches your sleep, so does hate. Both of these emotions make you restless, helpless and desperate. Love makes you think about only one person and hate does the same. It also doesn't let you sleep peacefully. Love and hate go hand in hand, you may love a person in daylight and hate him in the dark.'' Taehyung explained making Taegguk's mouth widen in surprise.

''Wow Mom.....I never thought like that.'' He commented in awe.

''Because you are not a painter, my big baby!'' The blonde teased his son who scrunched his nose in offence.

''Mom.....Don't call me that.''

''Then what should I call you? Bunny?''

''Call me anything but not that big baby....I hate it.'' Taegguk whined making his mother giggle.

''Okay....stop whining and let me focus now.''

''Okay!'' The brunette immediately became silent. He knew his mother like to paint in complete silence where only his creativity and heart narrates stories on the blank canvas. Taehyung smiled and looked at the colours lying on the table only to frown.

Taegguk looked at his mother's confused face.

''What happened, Mom?''

''I think I forgot to bring oil pastels..'' Taehyung replied checking once again. Taegguk nodded and got down from the table.

''Let me bring them...'' He said making the blonde smile at him thankfully. Taegguk smiled back in response and walked away.

The brunette entered his mother's room and walked to the cupboard where Taehyung keep all the painting supplies. He opened it and searched for the said colours when his eyes fell on something. He frowned in confusion and picked up the rolled sheet.

He unrolled it curiously thinking it was his mother's another painting but he got surprised when he saw what it actually was.

It was a painting of course.

But he never thought his mother can paint something so beautiful.

He was stunned for a good two minutes, noticing every stroke of the colours, studying every feature of the painting and most importantly, noticing the eyes of the person who was painted so magically on that sheet.

It was his father.

Jeon Jungkook.

Taegguk had seen his mother painting lifeless things. He had never tried to portray a human on a canvas sheet but now, looking at the painting in his hands, Gguk was sure that his mother should only paint humans.

The brunette could see how wholeheartedly Taehyung would have painted it because it was as good as a photograph itself.....even better than that but he didn't understand why his mother would paint Jungkook?

Why would Taehyung give hours to something so unimportant for him?

Or was it important?

The thought brought a smile to Taegguk's lips. His dreams of having a happy family grew stronger as he thought why his mother would keep Jungkook's painting so safely when he didn't want to give a chance to this relationship?

He didn't need to be told. Taegguk could see the secret wanting of his mother for a love that makes you forget everything....not only hurtful past, but present as well as worry for future. He was now sure that what he see in Taehyung's eyes whenever his mother look at his father secretly, it was not just a blank look.....it was more than just that.

It was special because under that curtain of blankness, it was need and want for his husband's love.

The thought was so satisfying for Taegguk but he frowned when another thought crossed his mind.

If both his parents love each other than why did they were adamant on separating their way?

If both of them wanted the same thing then why their paths were different?

If both of them craved for each other than why were they acting so ignorant?

He could understand why Jungkook was behaving this way. He had heard his father's side of story. Jungkook didn't want to hurt Taehyung more or make it hard for the blue eyed male but he was confused as to why his mother wasn't giving a chance to his husband.

To their relationship.

To their family.

To their love?

But then again, he should know how hard it would be for Taehyung to just forget everything and act all nice with his husband.

What if Taehyung actually wanted to give it a chance deep inside his heart but his self respect isn't letting him?

Taegguk nodded to himself. That's the case. That has to be the case. He couldn't think of any other thing other than Taehyung's helplessness and scared self.

He must be scared to give it another chance thinking of what if he got hurt again.

Taegguk rolled the painting subconsciously as his mind ran extra miles.

He was still lost in his thoughts when Taehyung entered the room.

''Gguk...didn't you find the c-'' He stopped in his track when he saw the rolled painting in Taegguk's hand. His face went pale and he immediately ran over to his son only to snatch the painting from his hand thinking his son hasn't seen what was inside as the painting was rolled.

That day, the blonde had gone back to terrace and took the painting with himself. He couldn't find it in him to just throw it away.

''You didn't find the c-colours?'' He asked chuckling to hide his nervousness but Taegguk saw the insecurity in his mother's eyes. Taehyung didn't want his son to see the painting, so Taegguk didn't see anything. The brunette also smiled and shook his head.

''No Mom....There are so many colours here.'' He lied smiling sheepishly, observing eyes never leaving his mother's face. Taehyung chuckled when the subject got changed and he walked to look into the drawer and Taegguk noticed his mother placing the painting back in the drawer safely.

''You are dumb, Gguk...see, here are the colours.'' Taehyung turned to show the colours to his son who scratched the back of his head and smiled sheepishly.

''Looks like I am.'' he said. He felt so stupid of not been able to see everything earlier. He should have understood that the tears his mother used to shed back in Paris, they were not because of hurt and heartbreak...they were of craving.

Craving for his husband.

Taehyung chuckled and hit his son's head lightly bringing the brunette back to his senses.

''Mom....''

''Hmm, Gguk!''

''I will be going to Jin Uncle's house for sleepover. Ara was insisting to have a movie night.'' He lied with a nervous face but smiled when Taehyung nodded.

''Okay..... But remember you have school tomorrow. Don't be up till late night.''

''Yup...I will. I love you so much, Mom!'' He said hugging his mother out of nowhere making the blonde smile confusedly but he hugged his boy back nonetheless.

''You have fun with your painting...I'll leave for Ara's house.'' The brunette said and went out once his mother nodded.

On his way to his room, Taegguk called Jimin who picked up the call at the third ring.

''Hey big boy...wassup!''

''Chim Uncle, I want you at Jin Uncle's house with your boyfriend by evening.'' He said in a dead serious voice making the silver haired boy concerned.

''Gguk...is everything all right?''

''No....nothing is alright. Meet me at Jin Uncle's house and don't tell Mom about it. I'll see you there.'' He replied and ended the call without giving a chance to Jimin to say anything.

In was around eleven in the Jeon Mansion and Taehyung was waiting for his husband to come home so that they can have dinner together. Jungkook was late than usual making the boy sigh for the hundredth time.

He cursed himself for his weird habits. Since the very start, he couldn't eat alone or else he would have been asleep by now. Its not like he care for his husband.

He wanted to call his son but dropped the idea thinking he must be enjoying. The maids have already went to sleep leaving Taehyung alone in the whole big ass mansion.

At eleven thirty, the doorbell rung making Taehyung smile unknowingly. He walked over to the door and opened it to welcome his husband.

''Hey.'' Jungkook greeted his husband, walking inside and Taehyung closed the door behind him after smiling at his husband hesitantly.

''Where is Gguk?'' He asked even when he knew very well. His son had texted him about it. Its just that he wanted to have a conversation with his husband.

''He has gone for a sleepover at Jin Hyung's house.'' Taehyung replied.

''Oh....''

''Yeah.'' And things became weird again. Jungkook looked at the blue eyed boy who was standing a few feet away from him and fiddling with his fingers, scolding his mind to come up with something to erase the tension in the air.

Jungkook cleared his throat grabbing Taehyung's attention.

''You had dinner?'' As if he didn't knew Taehyung never eat alone.

''No.''

''Oh...Okay. I'll go and freshen up then we can have dinner together.'' He replied making the blonde nod. Jungkook smiled in response and walked upstairs to get freshen up.

Taehyung reheated the food and placed it on the dining table.

Jungkook came back after twenty minutes wearing all black outfit again. Taehyung rolled his eyes unimpressively.

What's with Jungkook and black?

Doesn't he have any other colour in his wardrobe?

Why does he has to wear that black trouser and loose t-shirt which did nothing to his muscular chest? He hate it when his husband roll his sleeves up. How can he control his eyes from tracing those veins that pops up every time he move his hands?

The boy was still glaring cum drooling at his husband when Jungkook approached him.

''It look so delicious.'' He complimented not noticing Taehyung's eyes on him.

''Right...It really look so delicious.'' The blonde replied eyeing those veiny hands.

''I am so hungry today.'' Jungkook spoke again. The blonde looked up at his husband confused because what the ravenette just said went over his head.

''You said s-something?'' He asked hesitantly, innocent eyes widen a bit.

''No....'' The ravenette shook his head dumbfounded. Taehyung nodded and sat back on his chair. Jungkook also pulled his seat and Taehyung's eyes went to his veiny hands again but scolded himself immediately when Jungkook sat down beside him.

''I was th-'' Jungkook was saying something when suddenly the lights went off. Whole Jeon Mansion bathed in the darkness making both of them look around.

''Fuck! Looks like we have a power cut.'' Jungkook cursed.

''Now?''

''Now what?''

''How are we gonna have dinner in darkness?'' The blonde asked making Jungkook look at the table in front of him. Literally nothing was visible making the ravenette sigh.

''Do you think we have candles at home?'' He asked making Taehyung think for a moment only to shake his head.

''I don't think so!''

Jungkook tsked defeatedly but the tube light of his brain lit up when an idea popped up in his brilliant mind.

And five minutes later, both of them were having a flashlight dinner with both of their phones illuminating the small place. Jungkook looked at his husband who was eating like a hungry tiger and smiled to himself.

He looked so cute with his face stuffed with food and a pout that adored his beautiful lips.

The dinner was silent. Both of them tried to focus on their dinner but their eyes kept stealing glances at each other.

Jungkook tried to think of something to start the conversation but his mind denied to co-operate so the boy just sighed in defeat and went back to eat his food silently.

Once they were done, Taehyung stood up to gather the dishes while Jungkook picked up the phone to show him the light. He thought he will be able to stare at his beautiful husband for as long as he want in the name of helping but, the electricity came back illuminating the whole house in light.

Jungkook cursed his fate and looked at Taehyung who was already looking at him. He smiled hesitantly and turned off the flashlight.

"I-I'll do the dishes!" Taehyung said when Jungkook kept looking at him. The ravenette nodded.

"You c-can go." The blonde spoke again when Jungkook kept standing in front of him. The ravenette wanted to stay with his husband so he shook his head.

"No...I'll help you."

"But I can do this alone."

"Okay....I....I'll clean the kitchen while you do the dishes." He suggested looking at his husband with hopeful eyes. The blonde looked at Jungkook for a moment before nodding.

"Okay .."

Taehyung didn't know what to do. Both of them were alone in the kitchen and the way Jungkook was not even blinking his eyes as he 'acted' to clean the kitchen made Taehyung's heart roar inside his chest. Strange tightness in his stomach thinking what Jungkook was thinking made the blonde lick his lips nervously.

The ravenette smiled letting the napkin kiss the kitchen counter just a little, his mind clouded with so much love for his husband. Taehyung may not want to give him second chance but Jungkook wanted to make as much of these two more months as he could so that he can spend the rest of his life with their memories.

The blonde washed his hands and looked at Jungkook nervously for a moment. He immediately averted his eyes as the intense gaze of his husband made the boy even more nervous. He removed the apron and placed it in its position.

When he didn't know what he should do next, he walked towards the kitchen counter, his mind battling with his heart, ordering him to not stay in the kitchen and just run to his room while heart forced him to not budge from his place.

He also wanted to be around the ravenette for a few more moments.

The silence was not so comfortable. Jungkook kept 'cleaning' the kitchen with his eyes and mind on Taehyung while the blonde started placing the containers on their place, looking at Jungkook from the corner of his eyes every now and then.

He was feeling strange pull towards the ravenette.

Maybe because both of them were alone in the whole mansion.

And add to it, the late hour of night always makes two lovers unable to stay away from each other.

Taehyung's heart was beating like a broken machine, not knowing its normal pace while legs felt jelly under the ravenette's eyes. He was very well aware of that heated gaze on himself but he didn't dare show it to Jungkook.

He picked up the coffee powder and walked to place it on the upper shelf. The boy was so nervous that he didn't realise that the small container hasn't properly been placed on its position as his stomach did weird flips. In his anxiety, the boy ended up leaving the container half in the air which fell down as soon as Taehyung left it.

"TAE....''

Jungkook was fast to come in action. He pulled the blonde to one side by his waist while tried to stop the glass container of the coffee falling on his own head with his hand. A yelp left Taehyung's lips at the sudden action while Jungkook hissed as the coffee container hit the ravenette's shoulder in the way before falling on the ground and shattering into pieces.

Taehyung closed his eyes tightly and clutched Jungkook's t-shirt tightly as he tried to calm his nerves. The ravenette cursed under his breathe at the sheer pain that he felt travelling from his shoulder to his spine through the nerve endings.

In the urgency, Jungkook didn't realise how close he was standing to his husband. When he opened his eyes slowly after cursing the pain for a moment, he saw Taehyung's horrified face. He held onto the ravenette like his life depended on it, trying his best to hide his face in Jungkook's buff chest while the ravenette stood caging the blonde between the kitchen counter while he held the blonde by his waist with his one hand while the fingers of the other hand were clenched into tight fists as the pain was unbearable.

Both of them were standing there for God knows how long as Taehyung found it hard to calm down. He was so scared at the suddenness of accident. Jungkook didn't move from his place, letting Taehyung calm down on his own as he caressed the blue eyed boy's waist soothingly.

Taehyung opened his eyes suddenly when he realised it.

Jungkook's calloused hand on his waist!

He raised his head up from the ravenette's chest and looked up at him with blank innocent eyes, his ears getting red when he saw Jungkook already looking at him with so many emotions. The boy felt butterflies in his stomach when he could literally feel his husband's heart beating like crazy under his hand where he had fisted the ravenette's shirt.

Both of them were literally pressed against each other making it hard for Taehyung to breathe properly. He felt his restrains breaking as Jungkook's addicting cologne clouded his mind. The ravenette still rubbed soothing circles on Taehyung's waist making goosebumps to arose on his skin.

''You okay?'' The ravenette asked huskily, his voice an octave lower making a shiver run down Taehyung's spine. Jungkook didn't want to seduce his husband with his voice, its just that the close proximity had made the ravenette feel himself unable to hold onto his sanity.

The blonde nodded, heart singing in a strange rhythm, a rhythm that he never heard before, innocent, hooded eyes looking at Jungkook making him unable to get his shit together, the boy even forget that his shoulder was paining like shit.

''I am f-fine.'' Taehyung replied averting his eyes as his mind started functioning again. Jungkook nodded and hesitantly pulled back his hand from his husband's waist only to step back looking at his hand which was on Taehyung's petite, thin, sexy, cute waist.

''Thank you.'' Taehyung said making Jungkook look up at him from his hand blankly but that blankness was replaced with a smile as soon as his eyes met Taehyung's nervous, blue ones.

''Anything for you.'' He said looking straight into those blue eyes making Taehyung's breathe hitch. He was not habitual to hear such things from his husband. He had only heard taunts, humiliating words and ignorance in silence. It was a bit hard for him to believe his ears but when Jungkook's eyes kept telling him that it was true, he couldn't help the butterflies in his stomach.
