Gone away like fallen leaves in the wind

I am carrying all our memories in my mind

Gone away like all of that was a dream, was it?

Never felt so empty, life seems like an endless pit

I was often scared that I might leave you behind

To think the opposite might happen I was blind

You kept me in the dark, I really don't know why

Just disappeared from my life without a goodbye

Now I am left with only your texts, they were good times

We had so much fun, though we fought sometimes

I considered you as my favorite older sis, my soulmate

I thought the bond between us had no expiry date

You made me see the brighter side of things

Tried to make me feel better, even when life stings

I know friendships can be lost but I never knew

I might end up loosing contact so soon with you

Probably you had priorities that were more valuable

That's why you left me, when we were so compatible

During my worst, I never hid anything from you

Now I feel sad, even when loosing people isn't new

Do you still think about us? about me and you?

Are you too busy working, to think about that too?

I am sorry if all my useless chats got you distracted

I wish I could had more control on the way I acted

Thank you for being the moonlight to my night

Thank you for making my life seem bright

I care about you, though your parting gave me pain

Hope we cross paths in future, meet once again
