《Joji X Reader-- Boy Next Door》Candy

Yet again at the same time you hear slamming and noise coming from the other side of the wall. "He is cute... But seriously...." You whisper to yourself and lay in bed until Joji stops.
"Thank you..." You whisper to yourself but next thing you hear is someone falling to the floor next door, You knock on the wall, "Joji! You alright!" You start to shout and worry. You get up from bed and put on a hoodie fast.
You rush out into the hall and go up to Joji's door. You knock three times but he doesn't open. "I know you are in there!" You shout. You put your ear up to the door. You can only hear someone jumping up and down.
"That's weird..." You whisper to yourself. The elevator door opens and you see both Ian and Max running in. You sense something bad has happened.
"Is Joji okay?" You ask. Ian runs past you and into Joji's apartment but Max stays with you,
"Look, I don't think Joji would want you to go in there. But... Joji just gets stress over things and..." But before Max could finish Ian calls him in.
"Have a good nights sleep... Don't worry about any of these." Max smiles and closes the door on you, fast.
You jump back so the door doesn't hit you, "Joji...." You whisper and just wait till either of the guys come back. You sigh and go back to your apartment. You lay in bed thinking about the three boys. Yet sleep comes over you and you fall into a deep sleep.
Beep! Beep! Beep! "I hear you!" You shout to your alarm clock as you slowly get up. It's 8 o clock. You smile to yourself. A whole hour to prepare. You walk into your bathroom and shower when you come out you put on a beanie, shorts and a simply shirt.
You grab two energy bars and pour yourself orange juice into a water bottle. You grab your ~wallet ~purse ~backpack (You can choose which ever one)
and walk out the door that's when Joji comes out of his apartment at the same time.
You smile to him but when you walk up to him he turns and walks the other way. "He didn't even try to look at me...." You whisper to yourself.
You walk down the stairs so you dont have to bet in the same elevator with him. When you get to the lobby you look around for Joji but he is already gone. You sigh.
"Lover Boy seems to not like you." you hear a familiar voice. You turn your head a little to see Max.
"Hey... " You whisper. you check your watch to see it's only 8:30. Still have time.
"Joji already left with Ian." Max informs you.
"I wasn't looking for Joji." You lied.
"Really?! Than... Why were you looking all around?" asked Max.
"I was looking for a trash bin." You lie again.

"Why?" He asked.
Why can't you just leave. "Because I want to throw my trash away." You hold up the empty energy bar wrapper.
Max laughs, "Sorry for the confusion." Max waves good-bye to you and walks out of the building.
You sigh to yourself, "Thank god..." You walk to your work just in time. 8:55.
"Hey!" shouts Robert from behind the counter. "I have to go run some errands. Think you can hold up the store by yourself?" asked Robert.
You think about it for a second. "Yes."
Robert gives you a high five. You walk behind the counter and look out the window. Robert was a nice guy, everyone around the block liked him. His store didn't have many costumers but that doesn't stop Robert.
You hear the bell ring and in walks Ian.
"Hey." you smile.
Ian walks up, "Max isn't going to read the books... Can we return them?" asked Ian.
You laugh to yourself. "Sure thing." You than catch a glimpse of Joji standing outside,
"Does... Joji... Hate me?" you whisper to Ian.
Ian turns around, "NO! No... He is... Shy.." he whispers back.
You give Ian his money back, "What happened last night?" you asked.
"He... His camera fell... Broke into pieces." Ian smiled and walked out the door.
"He was totally lying..." you laugh and go get a book. The Fault in Our Stars, You always loved this book. Paper Towns seem like the next good book to read. You pick up the Paper Towns book and walk back to the counter and start to read.
Getting you a date to prom is so hard that the hypothetical idea itself is actually used to cut diamonds.
You hear the bell go off again and this time it's Joji all by himself.
"Hey." you smile.
Joji takes in a big sigh, "Look... I don't hate you." he confessed. "But hanging out with me... Isn't such a good idea either..." He continued.
You shook your head as if you did understand but you didn't. You didn't understand what happened last night. You don't understand why he is so cute. You didn't understand why you had feelings for this guy. You didn't understand much and it gets to you and you sit down behind the counter and hide.
"You okay?" asked Joji.
"Yeah... Totally okay... just want to read..." you lie. You don't hear the bell of the door go off. Just go away. You thought. But he doesn't. You start to get tears in your eyes, "Oh god no..." you whisper to yourself.
"Did you say something?" asked Joji.
You ignore him and go back to reading.
You read: The thing about Margo Roth Spiegelman is that really all I could ever do was let her talk and then when she stopped talking encourage her to go on, due to facts that 1. I was incontestably in love with her, and 2. She was absolutely unprecedented in every way. and 3. she never really asked me any questions, so the only way to avoid silence was to keep her talking.

"Paper Towns..?" you hear a voice and it isn't Joji.
But Max, "What happened to Joji?" You asked.
"Did you cry?" asked Max.
You look back at your closed book.
"Was it because of Joji?" asked Max.
"Why do you ask so many question?!" you shout.
Robert comes in and you stand up, "Is everything alright?" asked Robert.
You look at your watch and it's 3, "Yup... Good luck holding up the store." You rush to the door and when you push it out.
You push the door into Joji.
"Fuck..." you can hear him whisper on the floor.
"Sorry..." you whisper and run to the cafe.
"How mad did you make her?" laughed Max.
While Joji just watched you run.
Joji's Point of View-- "Last night wasn't so good. Tonight, I will just rest." I tried to convince myself. I walk outside into the hall where I see (Y/N). She is so beautiful but i will just be a burden.
I turn around forgetting to say hello. "Shit..." I whisper to myself as I step on to elevator. I watch her take the stairs. I get to the lobby where Max and Ian are.
"Hey guys." I smile.
"Last night was a bad one." laughed Max but Ian elbowed him.
"Sorry about last night though... Beers on me." I promised.
"Maybe some other time." smiled Max.
"I can have a beer tonight." smiled Ian. Ian and me start walking.
"You coming?" asked Ian.
"No... I am going somewhere else after this." smiled Max.
"Weird..." whispered Ian.
"Doesn't really seem weird." I laugh.
"It shouldn't but... Max likes that girl next door to you." explained Ian.
I stop. "He what?!" I shouted.
"Don't tell me you like her too?" asked Ian.
"No... You?" I lied. "I totally do!" shouted Ian.
"She has beautiful eyes and hair!" shouted Ian.
I laugh.
"I am just kidding. Max should have the girl. You are to needy and I am too... Ian." Ian walked away laughing.
"He is right... I am too needy..." I whisper to myself.
"Plus she thinks you hate her." added Ian.
She does?! I stop walking "Hey, Ian meet you there at 4!" I shouted. While Ian just waved good bye.
I walk into the store where I see (Y/N) reading Paper Towns.
"Hey." she smiles. God that smile can be the death of me. "Look... I don't hate you." I confess. She smiled even more. This is were I need to cut ties with her. "But hanging out with me... Isn't such a good idea either..." I continue.
Her smile goes away slowly. This is going to kill me. She shook her head yes and sat behind the counter. I could hear her cry. I sit on the chair thinking of what I just did. I walk out and she doesn't seem to notice.
I sit in the cafe and that's where Max is too, "I am going to ask her out." smiled Max.
"You barely met her." I laughed.
"But she makes me... You know... Happy." confessed Max.
This isn't going to end up well. "Well... Ian doesn't like her and I just made her cry... So you are the lucky guy." I teased.
"You made her cry?" asked Max with wide eyes.
"I didn't mean too... But... you like her so... If she got any ideas of wanting to be with..." I was only half way through my sentence when Max stopped me.
"Say no more. I love you man." Max pats me on the back hard and walks across the street to the store. "I remember the cookies she brought the other day..." I get up and ordered two cookies.
I run across the street and about to open the door when it starts to open itself and hits me, "Fuck..." I whisper.
"Sorry..." I could hear her whisper.
The cookies are ruined. I see them on the floor in pieces. I look at her run to the cafe.
"How mad did you make her?" laughed Max. Max helped me up and I walked to my apartment with shame.
Your point of View-- "I really want that Paper Towns book...." You whisper to yourself while you drink your ice coffee alone looking at a sports show.
"I'll just ask Robert if I can burrow it..." you whisper as you walk back to the book store. That's when you see a bag of cookies all smashed up.
"Those would be yummy, to have if they weren't ruined...Wait! Are those the ones I sometimes order." You think to yourself. Than you remember, "Oh my god, was Joji bring those to me?!" You thought about it for a second. You run back home without a second thought.
You knock on Joji's door fast, "I am coming!" you heard him yell.
But instead Max is at the door. "Hey there, (Y/N)." said Max as he leaned against the frame of the door.
"Is Joji here?" You asked. Joji comes from behind.
You smile, "I am sorry about the door thing." you hold up a bag of sweets from Starbucks.
Max frowns and goes back inside. Joji comes closer to you. "Why?" he asked.
"I saw the cookies..." you whisper.
"What's in the bag?" he asked.
"Poison..." you laugh.
Joji laughs and holds out his hand.
"It's a Rocky Road Candy Pop." You smile as you give it to him.
Suddenly he hugs you, "Thanks..." you hear him whisper. You wave good-bye to each other. You head inside your home, while him and Ian walk to the elevator.
Joji's Point of View--- I hugged her... Because... I... Think I fell in love. I thought to myself.

8 1186War of Seasons
Dorothea Atlin is the young, apathetic leader of the neutral territory of Sirpo, a chilly land hovering above the continuously warring factions of Sacer and Ghuria, whose devastating magics have ravaged their people and lands time and time again. Following a shocking attack and a cruel deception, Dorothea grows her conscience and takes up arms, using her self-destructive ability to manipulate the flow of time to ensure Sacer’s victory. Her growing understanding of war and the two factions is guided by Iree Nobelis, the determined and enthralling commander of Sacer’s forces, Ariana Kingfisher, a steely swordswoman of mixed Ghurian and Sacerian descent, and Rhys Tamlin, a kind but haunted soldier who goes to challenge Dorothea’s self-imposed celibacy and join her on a mutual journey of healing from the tragic legacies of the Atlin family and wars between the nations. Meanwhile, Dorothea’s only friend and deserter from the Sacerian military, Shark Olyen, returns to their homeland to face the family that disowned them and finds more than they bargained for in meeting Cerid Creed, a noble whose duty to his people clashes with his desires in romance and in life, much like Shark’s did long before. As their developing or preexisting loves and differing convictions on how to achieve peace create rifts between these major players, Dorothea experiences a personal revolution that leads her to fight for what she believes is right, no matter the cost. A slow-burn story that takes time setting up the psychology and motivations of characters for explosive payoff later down the line.
