《Percy Jackson x Reader-Sea of Monsters》Chapter 15

I narrowed my eyes at the demigod who was pointing his sword in front of me and (Y/N). I made (Y/N) get behind me to protect her. I do not want her to get hurt by this traitor.

"Hey, cuz," said Luke. "Welcome back to the States."

One of his monsters appeared on either side of us. One grabbed (Y/N), Annabeth, and Grover by their T-shirt collars. The other tried to grab Tyson, but Tyson knocked him over and roared at Luke.

"Percy," Luke said calmly, "tell your brother to back down or I'll have Oreius bash your friends' heads together."

'Oreius' grinned wickedly and raised them off the ground, while they were kicking and screaming.

"What do you want, Luke?" I growled.

He smiled, the scar rippling on the side of his face. He gestured towards the end of the dock, where the Princess Andromeda was at.

"Why, Percy," Luke said, "I just want to extend my hospitality, of course."

Luke's monsters made us aboard the Princess Andromeda. They threw us down in a deck that had a swimming pool with sparkling fountains that sprayed into the air. A dozen of Luke's monsters and demigods in battle armor had gathered to watch us get some 'hospitality.'

I recognized a few of the demigods. They were the ones that were unclaimed. Some of them were my friends but when they saw me they looked away, ashamed.

"Now let's get to business. The Fleece," Luke said. "Where is it?"

Luke looked at each of us. His sword, Backbiter, grazed over Percy's shirt. Then he poked Grover's jeans.

"Hey!" Grover yelled. "That's real goat fur under there!"

"Sorry, old friend. " Luke smiled. "Just give me the Fleece and I'll leave you to return to your little nature quest for searching Pan."

"Some old friend!" Grover protested.

"Maybe you didn't hear me." Luke's voice was dangerously calm. "Where. Is. The. Fleece?"

"Not here." Percy said. "We sent it on ahead of us."

Luke narrowed his eyes.

"You're lying."

I asked, taunting him.

His eyes widened. His face reddened as if a horrible possibility occured to him.

"Clarisse?" He asked.

We nodded.

"Y-You trusted... You g-gave..." Luke stammered.

"Yeah." Percy said.

"Agrius!"

A bear giant flinched.

"Y-yes?" He asked nervously.

"Get below and prepare my steed. Bring it to the deck. I need to see Clarisse personally."

"B-But, boss-"

"Do it!" Luke ordered. "Or I'll feed you to the drakon!"

The monster gulped and quickly went downstairs. Luke started pacing in front of the swimming pool while cursing in Ancient Greek, gripping his sword so tight his knuckles turned white. The rest of Luke's crew looked uneasy. I guess they never seen Luke so angry before.

'If I could only use Luke's anger, get him to talk so everybody could hear how crazy his plans were...'

I looked behind Luke and saw a fountain, spraying mist in the air, making a faint rainbow in the sunset. Suddenly I had an idea. But I need (Y/N)'s help.

I slightly elbowed (Y/N). She looked at me. I couldn't say my plan out loud so I motioned my head towards the rainbow. (Y/N) looked at the rainbow behind Luke. She slowly nodded as if she knew what my plan was. She secretly placed her hand in her pockets, grabbing a golden drachma. She slipped the drachma into my hand without no one knowing. She looked back at Luke.

(Y/N) said.

Luke stopped pacing and looked at her.

"Of course and ya'll messed everything up!" He yelled.

"Traitor!" I yelled, as I threw the gold drachma at Luke. And as expected, he dodged it easily.

The coin sailed into the spray of rainbow-colored water. I really hoped my prayer would be accepted in silence. I thought with all my heart and hopefully (Y/N) was too.

'O goddess, accept my offering.'

(Y/N) yelled.

"Even DIONYSUS at CAMP HALF-BLOOD!" I yelled also.

(Y/N) and I watched as the fountain began to shimmer behind Luke. But I needed everyone's attention on me, so I grabbed Riptide from my pocket and uncapped it.

Luke rolled his eyes.

"This is no time for you to play hero, Percy. Drop your puny little sword, or I'll have you killed sooner rather than later."

(Y/N) asked, still going on with the plan.

"I did, of course," he snarled. "I already told you that. I used elder python venom, straight from the depths of Tartarus."

"So Chiron had nothing to do with it at all?" I asked.

"Ha! You know he would never do that. The old fool wouldn't have the guts." Luke said.

(Y/N) exclaimed.

Luke raised his sword at her but I stood in front of her, raising my own sword.

"You don't understand the half of it, (Y/N). I was going to let you take the Fleece...Once I was done with it."

I then remembered what he said on how he was going to use the Fleece's power.

"You were going to heal Kronos." I said.

"Yes! The Fleece's magic would've sped his mending process by tenfold. But you haven't stopped us, Percy. You've only slowed us down a little."

(Y/N) yelled.

Luke gritted his teeth.

"You know that! Why do you two keep asking me these questions when you already know the answers to them?" He growled.

"Because we want everybody in the audience to hear you!" I yelled, revealing the plan.

"What audience?" Luke asked as he narrowed his eyes at us.

Then him and his goons turned around. They gasped and stumbled back.

Above the pool, shimmering in the rainbow mist, was an Iris-message. Showing Dionysus, Tantalus, and the whole camp in the dining pavilion.

They sat in stunned silence, watching us. I looked in the audience and saw Will there. He looked relieved to see me alive but then looked panicked when he saw we were with Luke.

"Well," said Dionysus dryly, "some unplanned dinner entertainment. "

I said.

"I suppose not, *fake name that's close enough to your real name* Mr.D sighed.

"The Iris-message could be a trick," Tantalus suggested, but his attention was on his cheeseburger, which he was trying to corner with both hands.

"I fear not," Mr.D said, while looking at Tantalus. "It appears I shall have to reinstate Chiron as activities director. I suppose I do miss the old horse's pinochle games."

Tantalus grabbed the cheeseburger. It didn't bolt away from him. He lifted it from the plate and stared at it in amazement, as if it were the largest diamond in the whole world.

"I got it!" He yelled.

"We are no longer in need of your services, Tantalus," Mr.D announced.

"What? B-But-" He stammered.

"You may return to the Underworld. You are dismissed."

"Wait! No! But- NOOOO!"

As he was dissolving into mist, he tried to eat the cheesburger but it was too late. He disappeared as the cheeseburger fell back onto its plate. The campers exploded into cheering.

Luke was fully enraged. He slashed his sword through the fountain, disconnecting the Iris message. He turned around and gave Percy a murderous look.

If looks could kill...

"Kronos was right, Percy. You're an unreliable weapon. You need to be replaced."

One of Luke's men blew a brass whistle. Dozens of warriors entered and surrounded us with their weapons.

"You'll never leave this boat alive, Percy." Luke sneered.
