The key that Cas handed over to me was a key to our 'secret lair'. We later on found out how dangerous it actually is and how our ancestors had used it for demon rituals. It no longer became a fun place for us to go to since we had to kill a bunch of demons in here.

"So what is this place?" Elaine asked as we descended further down the spiral mossy stairway. After we reach the floor, there should be a door leading to the main labrinth. From there, there should be three paths we can go from.

One of them should lead us to multiple unused drains around the castle.

"Cas and I found this place a long time ago. We thought it was abandoned." I remembered the time when I had pulled the brunette down here forcefully. The torches were strangely still lit, making it easier for us to see.

"That is, until we found out the place was for demonic rituals and we had to kill a bunch of demons that threatened to demolish the kingdom." I quickly added in.

Not bothering to look back at the terrified expressions of my companions, I carefully opened the wooden door located beneath the stairs.

It revealed the stone room inside. Nothing has changed since the last time I went in here which was... Years ago. Including the holes in the wall.

"There's... More doors?" Khun stepped up Beside me, confused at the three iron hates in front of us.

Bam stepped closer towards a statue built in the middle. The size was huge and it pictures the form of a lady controlling a ball of water and a sword by in her right hand. She stands regal, looking at the distance. Her hair looked as if wind was blowing it back. Wearing the castles official head uniform, but with a skirt instead of pants, even though it seems like she wore one beneath it. Around her hips was a dagger, tied on her belt.

"Who's this?" Bam asked, looking at the womans stone face.

"I don't know. It's been there since... Forever."

Bam scratched his head, but looked away and came back to us just as we approached the middle door.

It was already opened due to how much Cas and I would use it to sneak around the castle unnoticed.

In front of us lies a multiple ways. A maze. But thankfully I still remember my way around.

"What's the other two doors for?"

"the left one is an alter. There's a lot of blood on it." I cringed at the memory. The others tensed up. "Right one is empty. Dunno what's in it. We did fight a bunch of demons in there."

"We?" Khun repeated the word.

"Yeah. Cas and I."

I felt him tense up from beside me, crossing his arms. "You and this Cas guy seem to hang out a lot."

I suppressed a laugh from how jealous he sounded. "Yeah. He was my teen year boyfriend."

The look Khun gave me nearly sent me bursting with laughter. But Instead I just smirked. "You jealous bro?"

He huffed, eyes darting away. I can see Elaine smirking mischievously from behind me and Bam just looks confused. Meanwhile, Hockney went to catch on his sketches. He's been awfully silent...

"Why should I be jealous. You two broke up for a reason."

I giggled, "We broke up because he needed to go through harsh training. And he didn't want me to get hurt."

I see Khun flinch from my words. My hand placed itself on Khun's shoulder, "I still love you more though."

He huffed, pretending my words weren't effective even though his cheeks were a bit pink. "Whatever."

The rest decided to walk in front, away from us to give Khun and I our moment.

Once they were on the other side of the door, I pulled Khun by the collar, making his lips crash onto mine. "Do you not believe me?" I asked, pulling away.

He suddenly grabbed my shoulders before I could go to far, bringing me close to his face again. "Wait. Don't pull away... Not yet."

His words sent my face fifty shades of red and pink.

"Stop wasting time!" I was dragged away by Elaine.

We stared at the grand double door in front of us. There was no guards around, just as Cas promised.

I was the first to push it open, greeted by the familiar golden color pillars and the red carpet.

"You've come home." A voice boomed from the seat. The man that sat there sent me a harsh glare. We continued to stare at each other as I walked down the large room. "Do you notice the consequences of your actions?"

...

I nodded.

My friends behind me tensed up. Bam was the first one to speak. "Um, actually-"

"You're grounded young lady!"

"Daaad!" I whined. "Come on!"

He jumped down from the seat, putting on his pink bunny slippers. "Come here! You little nut!" He knuckled my head, putting an arm around my neck.

"Don't do that! You're messing up my hair!"

"Who said you could just run away like that!? You're just like me! Didn't I tell you to not be like me???"

After a while of brawling with him, I pouted, fixing my hair.

My father finally regained his composure, clearing his throat and sitting back on his throne.

"Oh, you brought Edh's son with you."

Khun gulped, lost for words.

"Wasn't he the one who like- ran away or something?" He asked, picking up a cup of espresso from the table beside him.

I groaned, "shut up. I need your help."

"You're only visiting your dad because you need help? That's just depresso." He suddenly laughed, raising the cup in his hand. "Get- get it? Depressing. Espresso. Depresso."

I face palmed, "yes... Dad... Can you please listen to me?"

He finally stopped laughing, though the smile on his face remained. "What's up?" He looked like he was fighting the urge to make another joke...

"I need an army to defeat Jahad."

His smile dropped, "you mean the king?"

I nodded. "He's been a bitch. Not like we weren't already at war with him.. but still! That's why I need your help. So we can end the fight."

My father sighed, "can't do that unfortunately."

I opened my mouth to argue, but he cut me off before any words came out.

"I don't want to risk losing my kingdom, our home."

"But that's why we need it! So we won't lose this place-"

"It's to risky. You're playing his game and I'm not helping."

He rubbed his temple stressfully. "You're to much like me... You know back in my days in the tower, Jahad and I would try to kill each other-"

"Yeah yeah whatever."

I looked back at the people behind me. Bam was staring at the ground defeated.

"Can you think about it? For my sake?" I pleaded.

The old man hummed thoughtfully. He finally opened his mouth, "okay. I'll think about it. For you."

What I mean by that is that I'm feeling evil, as in; I've written the important parts for this story and I feel really, really evil. ;) More than yesterday

Oh btw, the ending to this book isn't that long from now. Just a little reminder. But don't worry, the other books are still going and I'm bouta publish Detective AU book by the end of the month.
