the two families, the Daeyang and the Jigu.

the Daeyang family controls and 'create' water while the Jigus controls the earth, like growing plants, and raising the ground below them.

the Daeyang family is extremely close with the Khun family. even before the families were created, Khun and Daeyang were already close. a soul connection that has or will ever be explained. some people say it is because ice and water share a connection. the members of the family who are unfortunate enough to not get chosen to become a regular (very very slim chance) are banished from their land(village kinda thing). rankers from the Daeyang family usually becomes a spy for Jahad or other work that needs skills in stealth. Daeyangs are skilled with swords and archery. bad with spears (despite having great accuracy) (fucking hell their excuses are 'can't hold them properly'). position mostly wave controller or light bearer. doesn't get along with the Yeon family. fire and water don't mix

the Jigu family is extremely close with none of the families. most families hate the Jigu family. despite being family, they prefer being called a 'clan'. the same level of powerfulness with the Daeyang's. good at martial arts, spear, extremely smart, position mostly being a light bearer, scout, or fisherman. most rankers work as test director or business crap. mostly lone wolves.
