《Ciel x Reader- Dreams of Who We Used To Be》Very Unpleasant 'Rescue' Team

You began to tremble, dropping whatever composure you had until this point.
"What's wrong? Finally realized how screwed over you are?" Marcie taunted. "I'm going to kill both you AND your brother, and I'm sure Kiyen will kill Ciel without a problem. I ordered his death- I WILL see it through. There's NO WAY that watchdog is getting in my way of business- and you? You're DEAD _______, and it's all because-"
"You idiot!" You yelled as your legs gave out and you fell to the floor. "He's coming, and we're both going to die!" You began to cry as the clicking of dress shoes came closer. "We're both dead!"
"What's wrong with you? Have you gone mental?" He yelled.
And then the door opened.
I sat in my desk chair, in utter agony. '_______.... I thought you loved me.....' I thought. 'I thought you wanted to marry me and live your life with me..'
I stared across my desk at the empty glass of water. Mey-Rin had just gone to get me another glass, but had forgotten this one. I gently placed it infront of me.
'I wonder... can I?' I thought. 'Might as while try... no one can judge me if I fail.'
'She had her ticket for the long way 'round,
Two bottle of whisky for the way.
And I sure do miss her sweet company.
And I miss her today, What can I say?
When she's gone, When she's gone-on-on,
I miss her when she's gone-on,
Now, I'll miss her by her hair,
Yeah, I'll miss her everywhere,
Oh, I'll miss her when she's gone.
She got a ticket for the long way 'round,
The one with the prettiest of yous,
It's got mountains,
It's got rivers,
It's got sights to give you shivers,
But I think it'd be prettier if I were with you.
Now she's gone, Now she's gone-on-on
Now I miss her 'cause she's gone-on,
Now I miss her by her walk,
Yeah, I miss her by her talk,
Oh, Now I miss her 'cause she's gone.'
I muttered quietly. I moved the cup back to the corner of my desk before resting my head down. "Why couldn't she have picked a career that wouldn't have hurt me so badly??" I muttered.
"Hey, You're the guy from earlier!" Marcie said to Sebastian. "You want _______, right? She's right there." He said, pointing to where you lay in a sobbing heap. "Take her and get out of my sight."
"I'm afraid not. You have caused too many problems." Sebastian replied, throwing a knife at him that Marcie easily caught.
"A butterknife?" Marcie laughed. "How pathetic. Although, I think little princess wins in that category."
"Little princess actually has redeeming qualities though, which you do not. So technically, don't you win the award for most pathetic?" Sebastian asked.
'Wait a minute, did he just defend me?? What the???' You're tears wouldn't stop spilling, but you took the minute to wonder if Mister-Pain-In-The-Butt-ler had actually stood up for you.
"Listen, this ain't no award ceremony. Take the girl and get gone." Marcie waved his hand. "No one cares about who is more disappointing... whether it be myself, you, or HER."
"Must I really repeat myself? You have caused far too many problems to be allowed to live for any longer." Sebastian said.
"Are you sure you want to fight me?"
"Yes." Sebastian said, holding new knives inbetween his fingers.
"Alright, prepare to die." Marcie said.

"The same could be said for you."
Sebastian and Marcie parried back and forth, but nothing happened. You stared at the clock, and through your tears you noticed they had been fighting for over twenty minutes. Marcie was tired and Sebastian was bored.
The room grew colder, and small black feathers flew around the room. One landed infront of you, hitting the ground with a sizzle. The parts touching the ground began to bubble, turning blood red as the feather sunk further into the liquid. When it was only a bubbling red blob, it sunk into the ground. The entire process was quick, as if the feather had seemingly disappeared into the floor.
The next one that landed near you, you extended your hand to touch the liquid, recoiling at the sting.
Sebastian chuckled demonically. "I'm really afraid ________ and I must return to my young master. Your time is done." his dress shoes clacked as he walked up to Marcie. Marcie was being covered in those melting feathers, and he was screaming in agony.
You looked away when Sebastian's shoes stopped moving, flinching at the spray of blood that hit you.
You began to shake as the dress shoes came over to you. You tried to raise yourself up, but the first time your arms were shaking too badly and you fell back to the ground.
'I should die on my feet.' You thought, beginning to lift yourself back up when a foot rested on your back and pushed you down onto the floor again. Sebastian hadn't put all that much strength into it, but your trembling body really couldn't withstand any hits.
"My, my, how the mighty of fallen." Sebastian sighed. He wasn't saying it in a way to make you feel bad, but you began sobbing anyways.
"Are you regretful?" he asked you softly. "Would you have rather killed your brother?"
"Just kill me already." your voice was calm, regardless off the tears on your cheeks.
"Ah, I have been ordered to return you alive. Perhaps Ciel wants to kill you himself."
Your sobs overcame you as Sebastian hauled you over his shoulder, on the way back to the manor.
For the last time.
You were going home to die.

You had stopped crying minutes after you had left the compound, instead staring up at the stars in the night sky with a new found admiration.
'They're so beautiful... I wonder why I never noticed?' You thought sadly. You shook lightly when you noticed the dirt road, knowing it was the one that lead to the Phantomhive manor. You bit your lip, stopping tears, but couldn't stop your quivering.
When Sebastian pushed open the door, you heard gasps. "You found her Mister Sebastian!" Finnian exclaims.
" 'Ey, that's the killer girl." Baldroy said, causing you to stare at the floor and try not to die. "How'd ya get her?"
"He's just amazing, yes he is!" Meyrin said in awe.
He carried you upstairs to Ciel's office, and set you down in front of the door knocking once. "Young lord? I have brought her back."
"Bring her in." his voice was devoid of any emotion.
'I won't cry, I won't cry, I won't-" the door opened and Ciel stood as tears instantly began falling down your cheeks, spotting his injured shoulder.
"Sebastian, leave." Ciel ordered.
"Young Master, I-" he started.
"Don't make me repeat my order. Leave. And you never completed my orders from earlier. Rescue her brother."
"Yes, My Lord." he gave a small bow and and left, shooting you a glare and leaving.

Ciel began to walk towards you, extending his good arm to you, sliding it behind your back and hugging you close as you cried into his uninjured shoulder.
"______.... _______.... listen to me. ________." Ciel said eventually.
You looked up at him quietly. "_______..... I still love you." He told you softly.
"But... your shoulder... I... I..."
"I don't care _______. I love you and I can't live without you." he said, kissing you. "So don't make me."
"Ciel.." You whispered, kissing his cheek and making him blush.
"________!" Something tackled you from behind, knocking you out of Ciel's arms and knocking you to the floor.
"Tommy!" You exclaimed, throwing your arms around him and holding him tight. "You're okay!"
"A nice man saved me!" He laughed, pointing to the door. There was Sebastian. You looked to Ciel, who gave you an 'I don't really know face' before you started laughing.
Oh, how good it felt to laugh.

"Where's Tommy?"
"Oh, I've already tucked him in. He's asleep." You told Ciel.
"Hmm." He looked out the window before looking back at you. "Do you want to dance?"
"We don't have music. And you hate dancing." You said.
"I like dancing with you. And we don't need music." He said, and you smiled, taking his extended hand. "Promise not to stab anyone?"
"How did you-"
"Druitt wasn't invited, yet he was there and killed. _______, it doesn't take super powers." He smiled at you, pulling you close and spinning.
"Listen... it's about Sebastian. I don't know if you know but... he's not human. He attacked Marcie with some sortof feathers that came from nowhere."
"______... I know. The pentegram on my eye is what binds him to me. _______... Sebastian is a demon."
You cursed and Ciel gave a small smile. "Don't worry, I won't let him touch you."

"My Lord.... please forgive my informality, but are you serious??" Sebastian asked as you laughed evilly in the corner of the room.
You had manipulated Ciel into doing you a favour that morning, and were waiting to cash it in.
Ciel shrugged. "She asked. Just do as she says, alright?"
You stood, giggling as you walked over to him. "I have three requests?" You asked for clarification from Ciel.
"Yes."
"Excellent." You laughed, turning to Sebastian. "First order- stop being a jerk. You're sassy, annoying, think you know everything, And no one cares if you can hold a million plates in one hand. So shut up. I could do that when I was four. It's not all that cool." You started off, feeling both Ciel's and Sebastian's shocked looks focused on you.
"Next order- Don't take your anger out on Tommy for anything I do. He's just a child, and if I find out you've done anything to hurt him you will pay, deeply and dearly Sebastian."
"Final order- Obey every command I tell you after this point, should Ciel approve of it."
Ciel smiled as the two of you watched Sebastian bow with his teeth grit. "Yes, My lady." He muttered.
"My first command- don't call me 'my lady'. Simply _______ will do." You said.
"________, you realize he will call you Whatever you want. You can get revenge on him for all the awful things he's done to you. He can call you 'My lady, Her highness, My goddess, The beautiful ______...." Ciel trailed off.
"I think I will leave that to you." You said to him with a smile. "And as for revenge, I see no need. I'll just hit him with a pan or something later." You shrugged and Ciel gave a small laugh.
"Good luck." He told you.
"Thanks." You smiled.
"Challenge accepted _______." Sebastian grinned competitively at you.
"If you want, you can have a head start. You may need it." You told him confidently.
"I don't need head starts. Those are for losers."
"Head starts are for people who are smart enough to realize they are in trouble."
"I don't understand how you're supposed to get one ______." Sebastian said and you laughed.
"Alright then, game on Sebastian."
"Hope you enjoy loosing."
"We'll see, we'll see."

You sat on the edge of Ciel's bed that night as you waited for him to come back from the bathroom. His shoulder her stopped bleeding so they had taken off the cloth, making it easier for him to move but harder for you to look at him.
The scab always made you upset, and you knew it was going to turn into a scar already.
'Yesterday night.. at this time... I was taking off my weapons because I was held to the gun point. Now I'm waiting for the boy I love to come back to bed so we can snuggle and go to bed.'
"_________?" Ciel caught your attention. You hadn't noticed him come in.
"Ciel.." You said, leaning in and kissing him gently.
He smiled, getting into bed and pulling you to him, hugging you close. "_______?" Ciel asked.
"Mmhmm?" You replied sleepily.
"Do you have any more secrets?"
"No...."
"Would you marry me if I asked you tomorrow?"
"yes...." you muttered, not really understanding what was going on.
He kissed your forehead with a smile. "I love you _________."
"I love me too." You muttered quietly, causing Ciel to laugh.
"Goodnight ________."
"Goodnight Ciel."

You and Tommy sat in the garden, laughing over a story. "Why did he do that?" Tommy asked.
"I don't know, but-"
"______." Ciel's voice caught your attention.
You stood. "Yes?"
"Do you mind if the two of us take a stroll around the gardens?"
"Not at all. Tommy, go find Sebastian and tackle him or something." you said and he gave you a salute.
"Will do!" he called running off.
You turned to Ciel, taking his extended hand. The two of you walked through the garden silently like that before he suddenly stopped.
"_________?" He asked.
"Yes?"
"You love me right?"
"Yes...?"
"So.." He got down on one knee. "Why dont you stay with me forever?" He pulled out a small box, producing a beautiful ring.
You threw your arms around his neck, pulling him close as you got down on your knees to hug him tightly.
Your sudden movement knocked him over, sending you toppling onto of him.
The two of you laughed, slightly embarrassed before you kissed him happily, as he got slightly blushy.
And for once, you were truely happy.

"Good morning beautiful."
"Good morning Ciel." You smiled, kissing his forehead.
It was the day after you got engaged, and Sebastian had said that 'Such a celebratory event should be followed by a morning of relaxation' and other slightly disturbing things that you threw a fork at him for saying.
So, here you were, lying in bed late into the morning.
A shudder suddenly passed through Ciel's body, and you instantly extended your hand to touch him when you began to shake as well.
"Cie-Ciel!" You said, as you rolled up in a ball in pain.
"_______...."
"Ah, Young Master, It is about time you woke up. I was wondering how long you would Fein sleep." Sebastian said casually.
"Sebastian! Do something!" Ciel yelled.
"Young Master, it is time to wake up." He said.
"What??"
"It is time to wake up."
And then you opened your eyes.

The Weather Vane
This is the first few chapter of my new book available on Amazon. The beginning is very light and fun, but more mature content comes later. From medieval fantasy to ultra high-tech to dinosaurs, The Weather Vane is a grippingly fast-paced adventure full of fun and excitement, literary flourish, and colorful characters. A group of ascendant masters find themselves in the afterlife and learn that they are newly recruited into the cosmic battle of good versus evil. Before they can join the fight, shipwreck strikes and they are lost in the ether. Stranded in a magical land beyond the reaches of the universe, The Weather Vane follows our crew of heroes as they try to piece things back together even while The Dark Lord’s forces march, maraud, and murder at every turn. Themes of darkness chase the overall levity of The Weather Vane which suffers not a lull as the climax begins near the beginning of the book and drives on through the greatly satisfying finish. The most epic of epics.
