"Marcie! Marcie!" You called, entering his one-room- house.

The doors slam shut. You turn around quickly to see no other than the devil himself staring at you. "Marcie. I've done as you asked."

"Are you sure?" He asked walking towards you.

"I shot him. I'm pretty sure he's dead." You said.

"The key words are 'pretty sure'. How do you know you didn't miss?" he asked

"I never miss! I always hit them in the right spot!" You cried.

"We have a source that says he's still breathing. That's not very good, now is it?" He said softly.

"I'll.. I'll go back. It's not A Big deal." You say.

"It's not A Big deal??? You have an hour until midnight! If you don't have him killed, you won't get the bonus!"

"Why do you care??? I'm the one receiving the money when he dies!" You yelled.

"Because who and what will you be spending it on? Weapons, rent, Tommy, food, it all comes directly back to me." He smiled.

You took a step towards him and he threw a throwing star at you. You easily flipped out of the way. You go for your own throwing stars before realizing they're all on the floor at the Phantomhive manor.

"Damn." you muttered.

"I'll go back, I promise, and I'll shoot him again, and you won't need to hurt Tommy." You said. "It doesn't really matter as long as he's dead by midnight, right? It's not A Big deal-"

"That's where you're wrong ______. It IS a Big deal. Because if my right hand assassin can't get one job done, what can everyone else do?" He said. "If you think that me being unable to trust my BEST assassin is NOT A BIG DEAL Then you're-"

"Shut up! Do you hear that?" You asked, and he fell silent.

And you almost died when you heard the noise again.

It was the clicking of shoes walking towards your room in the hallway.
