《Call Me Cute》Chapter Twelve

A week has passed since her run in with Nathan.
He has thankfully avoided her and there weren't any new rumors about her.
She considered it a close on that chapter of her life and wouldn't bother to dwell on it any longer.
Frankie sat in the library during self study, looking over her materials to see if she missed anything. She glanced up at her usual tail to see he was asleep, his head on the desk.
She glanced at her bagpack, the small red box inside, taunting her. She made up her mind to finally give it to him, as thanks for helping her dodge a bullet like Nathan.
She hasn't exactly found the right timing to give him but she figured today was best.
He apparently got some new clothes and wanted to do another mini show for her.
She was oddly excited this time, knowing what to expect. She's grown fond of the female Dakota, he was simply adorable when he crossdressed. She found him very.... cute; as for the male side.....
She looked up to gaze at his sleeping face, his long dark lashes and his pink lips slightly ajar. He breathed softly, relaxed as he rested.
Frankie felt her heart skip a beat and looked down going red.
....well she tolerated him, he wasn't so bad.
She's noticed her body was still reacting differently to Dakota. She thought it was just a regular thing having not been so close to men but other men didn't make her feel like this, and with Dakota around her for so long the reactions didn't fade, they seemed to grow.
It was similar to how Nathan made he feel but so much more.... It was almost....as if she....lik-
"Oh what's he doing here?" Cammy asked pointing at Dakota.
"He's so attached to you." Swan chuckled coming to sit by her.
"He's annoying is what he is." Frankie grumbled under her breath.
"You don't look like you mind it though." Swan teased opening her book. Frankie didn't reply, not sure what she should say because it was partially true.
"Hmm...?" He hummed waking up to see Cammy and Swan.
"Oh you guys..."
"Morning sleeping beauty." Swan teased, Dakota chuckled and turned to Frankie, she gestured to her cheek and he followed to see he was drooling.
Ah oh my god!!
He went bright red reaching down to his neck. Hurriedly, he wiped it away with his handkerchief.
Frankie smiled watching his embarrassment.

Dakota was feeling nervous.
He was planning to confess and invited Frankie over under the guise of a fashion show.
He's been fidgeting and dozing off all through out the day just to handle the increasing anxiety as the school's end approaches.
He felt dumb for being so anxious. Frankie wasn't his first crush or the first person he liked. He's done this about four times already but that still didn't help his nerves.
He bit at his nails, tapping his feet lightly.
"Dude." Dylan complained glancing at his feet. Dakota shrugged not being able to handle it but complied and kept still. He glanced at Frankie who sat at the front to see she was paying attention in class. He sighed deciding to follow her example and actually focus on the class at hand.
No use worrying over something that hasn't happened yet.
☆
Frankie made her way to Dakota's house.
He had left earlier even though she offered to give him a ride.
Really she didn't see why he was so excited to show her his new outfits. It made her feel pretty special.

She drove into his usual empty driveway and got out closing the car behind her with just a click of a button. She rang the door bell and waited for him to come get her.
A minute later he came downstairs wearing a short dark brown bob wig with blonde streaks. It was cut evenly and stopped right before touching his shoulders. Dakota smiled, Frankie mirrored his expression and entered.
"You look pretty good already" she teased watching him blush.
"Yea yeah."
They went upstairs and into his room where he already had makeup and outfits out and around.
Feeling familiar with the sight she went and sat down by the table.
"Oh wait, sit in this chair instead."
She didn't question why, and simply moved.
"Okay I'll show you two outfits this time."
Only two?
"Mm. Okay sounds good."
"You uh....should tell me if you like them okay."
"Sure." She grinned recalling how he liked compliments. Dakota turned and paused mid step, his back to Frankie.
"Hey uh.... "
"Mm?"
He swallowed thickly before he bent down to retrieve the folder that had her dark past. He handed it to her watching as she grew confused.
"The USB back up in also in there.... I'm not going to black mail you anymore."
Frankie frowned collecting it.
"What why not?"
"Why not?"
"I mean.... I- what changed? Not that I want to stick around or anything." She mumbled looking away, Dakota smiled sadly.
"Just.... Didn't want to lie anymore."
Frankie raised a brow at this, watching as he left to change.
She waited patiently for Dakota to get ready.
I wonder why he changed his mind...?
She glanced at the brown package, and tucked it away in her bag.
Hearing the door open again she looked up to see him come out in a really short light blue dress. It resembled a kimono at the waist, where another strip of fabric with white floral patterns; wrapped around his body and was held in place by a bow off to his side. The sleeves were long and poofy having the same floral design at the end and even on the collar. He wore simple white round tip heels and large hoop earrings. His entire face was red and he looked like he could barely breathe. She ignored it.
Frankie clapped watching him pose for her. He looked so sexy, he looked like a widowed rich woman who couldn't age. Seriously he's so attractive.
"Ohhh you look so chic and.....kinda sexy."
Dakota blushed twirling to give her a look of the entire outfit.
"Really? You don't think it's too short? Maybe I should wear stockings...." He mumbled looking down. The dress ending at the middle of his thighs, it was short but not that short.
"Nah. You look fine. I like it." She gave him a thumbs up trying to encourage him.
He giggled going to look in the bigger mirror in his room.
"How can you even walk in those?" Frankie laughing looking at his high heels.
"Talent darling." He sung posing to show off. They laughed, and Frankie sat back to watch him admire himself.
"Okay I have another one! I'll be back."
He mumbled bashfully as he could feel his lower area getting larger the longer she stared at him and willed it to go away.
She looked down feeling her heart race. She didn't know what vibe the other outfit would be but she knew it would look good on him.

She looked up then to hear the door open again and he walked out.
She gasped staring at the simple outfit, she thought the dress was short but this was shorter.
Her wore a bright red pleated skirt with a large black sweater that had an image of a cute girl character with a thin white dress shirt underneath, the collar folding over the neck of the black sweater. He wore some red vans with white ankle socks and the cherry earrings he had bought at the mall.
Seeing them quickly reminded Frankie of her gift.
She smiled at him and reached into her bag to pull it out, deciding to not hesitate anymore.
Dakota watched her curiously as she took out a small red box.
"Mm what's this?" He asked already opening it.
"A very very late birthday gift that was also a thank you gift at one point." Frankie chuckled sheepishly from having to admit that.
Dakota stared down at the cute bunny earrings he wanted way back then but didn't have the money to buy them just yet. He stared down at her, already feeling choked up by the idea of her buying him a gift.
"Frankie...When... I mean... Thank you. "
His chest tightened feeling more fearful as he stared at the earrings.
"Hey you okay?" Frankie asked watching his happy expression turn grim.
Dakota sighed sitting down on his bed, the weight of his feelings crashing down on him. He still had to confess but he was scared.
"No... I'm not...." He mumbled looking up to meet her eyes as she hovered over him.
"Do you need some water or...."
Just do it!
"Frankie! I like you....."
Wha-....?
"....and it's driving me crazy." Dakota finally admitted his voice breaking as he did.
Liked me?
Frankie stared at him wide eyed.
"Wait..... Uh... What- you mean as a girl friend?" She asked genuinely confused by what he meant.
Dakota blushed and pulled her down to sit by him. Having her hover over him made him more nervous.
"No I mean..... Like like...." He managed to utter covering his crotch.
He wanted to die. He felt so guilty.
He finally got to tell her his honest feelings and his body just wouldn't calm down; he felt like he was going through heat. He turned hearing silence to see Frankie's entire face was red.
He felt his pulse quicken the look unusual on her face yet so attractive.
"Frankie?"
She jumped at the sound of her name and looked at him nervously.
"A-Are you sure?" She stuttered looked skeptical and confused. She just couldn't believe what she heard.
How can he like me?
Dakota wanted to scream and list all the reasons she captured his attention but instead he sat up fully on the bed, and sat on his feet, his knees touching each other.
He blushed lifting his skirt to show her what he meant.
"I wouldn't be like this with just anyone...." He whispered feeling hot and needy.
Frankie stared down at the obvious signs of Dakota's arousal, her eyes trained on his cute lace panties. She expected to feel grossed out from having to see that part of a man but she was surprised to feel her chest tighten, her heart race and her lips going dry.
She licked them instinctively to glance up at Dakota; he had his head down, his hair blocking his face while his ears burned red.
She understood how men worked, but she has never seen this in person besides in pictures from her research. Seeing him like this for some reason made her own body feel hot and ticklish, especially down below.
Frankie felt breathless by his bold display.
She leaned closer to him, watching him tense and gently ran her hands over his thighs, feeling his heated skin under her hot fingers. She trailed her fingers up to his bulging friend and paused to stare at it.
She caressed him through his underwear with her thumb and watched as he released a soft moan from her touch. The sound spurred her on to apply some pressure, and Dakota shivered unintentionally opening his legs wider, and arching his back.
He looks so sensual..... tempting.... I want to to touch him more....
Frankie stilled, and immediately pulled back coming back to her senses from that thought. She looked up at Dakota feeling herself breathe heavier. She stood up alerting Dakota to her moving back. He dropped his skirt and looked at her almost fearfully.
"No... I- ....." She started not sure what she wanted to say.
She didn't hate Dakota but he was a man.... Can she like men? Well she was attracted to them but attraction and affection were two different things.
She pulled at her hair feeling dizzy and overwhelmed by all this.
"Frankie?" Dakota touched her shoulder and she immediately jerked away from him. Dakota's chest erupted in pain at her rejecting his touch. Frankie clenched her fists at her side wanting to apologize as he genuinely only spooked her for a moment, that she didn't mind him touching her but she couldn't say it.
"Sorry...." She heard him whisper holding his head down.
She glared feeling annoyed by his behavior, or.... no.... It wasn't him, it was her.
Did she like Dakota?
Her heart raced at the single thought and she already knew the answer.
No. He's....he's.....
She watched him, her eyes hyper focused on his face as he looked off to the side avoiding her gaze. She took in his soft makeup and monolid eyes, how familiar and oddly comforting they were to see.
I can't....he's a parasite!... A leech! How- when did I....?
She thought desperately trying to hang on to the reality only she knew. It was comfortable there, none of these confusing thoughts, no guessing, no.... No doubt in her feelings.
Dakota turned to finally meet her eyes and she tensed hearing her heart in her ears.
Despite the pain on his face, he looked at her with so much tenderness she instinctively inched back.
I can't....
She wanted to run, run far away but she didn't move. She stared at him, they stared at each other.
Her brows furrowed so much that it began to hurt.
"Frankie?"
She glared hating the way he said her name with that dumb innocent tone of his.
"I can't like a man." She suddenly confessed not knowing what else to say or do.
Dakota blinked in confusion.
"I- I can't like....a...man..." She repeated sounding unsure of herself the second time, Dakota frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"I... physically can't like men ... I have this condition it's- ah. This is so stupid!" She yelled turning away from him.
Dakota looked down in pain.
"Frankie....If you don't like me you can just say so ...you don't need to lie...."
He glanced up to see she looked extremely pissed, he didn't even have a moment to respond to her when she suddenly punched him on the arm causing him to wince in pain.
"You idiot!! I'm not lying, I like you!"
What...?
