Luckily, there is a new VRMMO technology with extreme time compression that will allow him to make the most of his remaining years. The new game K.O.R.A.L. promises to be the most immersive MMO of all time, with many of the traditional tools of players stripped away and a permadeath system for their characters. Disclaimer: First attempt at writing and it's a couple years old (as of 2018). Tried too much but hey if you feel like checking it out, do so. The world is at war. The clash between the great Saudi Empire and the Brazilian Alliance is reaching its climax. As the bombs fall signifying the end, many people find themselves in an unknown environment. Confused, naked and unarmed the newcomers are attacked by vicious beasts and must work together to survive in this new unknown world. Note: Short chapters. There are only small elements from VR/RPGs, the focus is definitely on the world and characters and not stats / grinding.
