"The end." Ayumu said, gently rubbing at the circle of the five years old boy's back. "Already?" He pouted, looking up at her. Ayumu nodded with a smile.
How long was it already, she sat on the couch with her son and told him the story based on the photo album that placed over the small guy's laps. The little boy seemed not satisfied with the remarks she gave him as it seemed. He didn't show any sign to close the photo album as he kept his dark eyes on the last photo at the very last page of the photo album. It was a photo of his mother and his father during his mother's highschool graduation. His little thumb caressed the photo slowly, admiring how young his parents looks like.
" I wanna know more." He pouted.
" I would love to tell ya more. But, unfortunately we already finish everyrthing." Ayumu softly said.
The boy nodded and pursed his lips a second later. Closing the photo album, he put it on a coffee table infront of them. He scooted closer to his mother and hugged her. His short arms were struggling to hug his mother's waist. With Ayumu 7 months pregnant, made it harder for him. At last, the little boy leaned to his mother's side and softly rubbed his mother's baby bump.
" How about we go and get ready to watch Uncle Tsumu's game? Have ya already wash yerself, Masaki-kun?" Ayumu asked, brushed his fringe away from his forehead. Since his fringe took after his father, it was a bothersome to brush it away. It would fall back and covered his small forehead again.
" I already washed." Masaki lazily replied. Ayumu rose up one of her brows; "Really? Aww, someone is growing up huh~" she said, playfully tickling her son which succeed made the boy to laugh. Looks like, someone got his good mood again.
" Can I wear no.9 Kageyama jersey, mama?" He asked, straightened up his back as he sat and properly faced his mother. " Aren't we already agreed to wear no.11 Miya? Uncle Tsumu gonna be upset if ya didn't wear his number." Ayumu replied.
"But papa gonna get upset too if I didn't wear his number jersey?" Masaki cutely retorted which gaining Ayumu's widened eyes. Not able to say a word yet, another voice echoed in the air.
"Who is yer papa?"
Both Masaki and Ayumu turned around on the direction only found the husband of her and a father of Masaki who was leaning his side against the wall with his bulky arm crossed over his chest. As he grew older, he indeed became buffer huh?
"Aren't ya suppose to be at match?" Masaki asked making his father furrowed his eyes. That little boy knew he just got his father. " Dada, I'm kidding." He grinned.
Ayumu could only shook her head and pursed her lips from stiffle out laughter, watching the father and the son interaction. With both having same hair colour but Masaki had the inverted from his father, Ayumu found it funny.
"Tell me what yer father's name?"
Flashing his toothy grin, Masaki said with playfully tone coated his voice. "Kageyama Tobio."
Ayumu almost choke by her own saliva could not contain with the laugher she held inside anymore.
"That's it. Dada not going to give the rices to Uncle Samu's shop anymore. So, Uncle Samu cannot sell his Onigiri and yer cannot even eat that anymore. Okay? Kita Masaki-kun?" His father said that made the little boy dropped his jaws. And that made Ayumu laughed her heart out.

Masaki instantly jumped off the couch and ran for his father, clinging to his father's legs. Shaking them, hoping to get his father's brown eyes on him.
"Dada, I'm kidding~ Please don't stop give rices to Uncle Samu~ Uncle Samu makes the best Onigiri~ Dada~" he whinned in order to persuade his father. Ayumu by the couch looked at her husband, who cockily played to ignore the soon to be eldest son. Never she thought the loofy, arrogant once and the stern Kita Shinsuke she knew upon times ago, could be this softy and had gut to act cutely sulking to a boy.
"Tell me what's yer father's name then. So, I'll think about the rice matter again." Kita said.
"It's Kita Shinsuke. Kita Shinsuke." Masaki instantly said.
Kita gave a short glance to his son, having a good look over the dark eyes which like nothing different of puppy eyes. He thought about to be in the role still but when Masaki pulled a pout, he could not hold it anymore. Kita swopped the little boy off the floor and picked him up to his arm. Playfully swayed him side to side, letting the boy screamed his lungs out.
"From whom ya learn to be so teasing huh?" Kita said, snuggled his forehead against Masaki's. "Mama." The boy replied, in between of catching up with a proper breath.
As if Ayumu was a deer that caught in the headlight, her eyes grew wider when the little boy blackmailed her poor self. Kita tilted his head a side, taking steps forwards to the couch on where Ayumu sat.
" What? Why me? I didn't do anything." Ayumu surrendered, having her hands up. " We just have story telling based on the album. That's all."
Kita sat himself and Masaki on the couch beside her. His eyes still peered to her soul and Ayumu made an expression of w-what? Wanna have a fight?
" Its not my fault of him taking yer intelligent-ness and a quick witted, Shin." Ayumu stated.
" And what explain he can speak with a big mouth like ya?" Kita chined up his head.
Having a staring contest between the two of them, Masaki looked at his parents as he exchanged his gaze from his mother to his father blankly. Then, something reflashed inside his mind that made him suddenly gasping. That surprised both of his parents. With Masaki was their first son, the worriedness sure took them the best.
"Honey, something happen?" Ayumu scooted closer to her husband.
"Did ya get trouble breathing?" Kita asked, looking worriedly to the boy that sat on his laps.
Masaki blinked his eyes and shook his head. "No. I just remember something." He said as both parents got splashed with a big wave of relieveness. "Can we go for another round of story telling mama? It will be The Miyas now? Can we?" He asked.
But when Ayumu about to give the answer, Masaki already ran down the hall towards a specific direction for grabbing another photo album which was The Miyas now.
" I cannot even ask him to put that album to its place again." Ayumu sighed, glancing towards the album on the coffee table. " Ah~ 1001 ways not to be strict but a soft person instead huh?" Kita voiced out as he realised what the album was.
"Yer sure naughty, hun." Kita said, clamping nose between his two fingers. Ayumu swatted his hand away and a pout formed on her lips. "Ask Masaki. He brought that to me." She cutely.

"Aren't there also have photos we kissed?" Kita asked, remember those photo existed.
"Hun, we skip of course. Masaki was the one who flip to other page as soon as he saw that kind of picture. Ayoo~" Ayumu nagged. "Who asked ya to not lock yer study room. And now, yer son made it as his hideout." Ayumu added.
Kita shrugged and snuggled lightly to his wife's head which Ayumu respond with a huff. Someone was sure grumpy. Was grumpier with two babies inside her womb.
"Temper is not good to the babies, Miya." He said and Ayumu shoot him with judgemental looks. "So, we are going back to Miya now huh, Mr Kita Shinsuke? For god sake Kita Shinsuke, don't make a pregnant woman angry."
Ayumu pinched his arm, making Kita yelped in pain. He attacked her then with a soft bite on her cheek and Ayumu slapped his thigh a second later. Kita pursed his lips, containing the pain inside. It hurt for real even from a former athlete. He should know better, both of them used to be a volleyball player. Sighㅡ Guess, with Ayumu became a sport atheletic trainer, made sense of her slap was hurt till now. With Kita fall into a deep silence, Ayumu glanced towards her husband. The expression enough telling her that he was in pain.
"Gomen, gomen. . .I didn't mean to hit ya too hard." Ayumu caressed his thigh and Kita playfully teased her by making the dirty noise that sure surprise her.
"SHINSUKE! FOR GOD SAKE!"
Kita instantly engulfed her into a hug with Ayumu lightly hit him. The husband of her was laughing upon he got her good.
"God, I love ya so much." He said, squeezed Ayumu gently inside his arms. One thing Ayumu realized about Kita after they married was, his personality. Not saying he was changing drastically but his changing was in a good way. Like the way he went a softie to his son. Ayumu thought he would play a strict father role but it other way around. He wasn't the stern Kita Shinsuke before. He still was but softer and a quite tease-er person. Ayumu even had a thought, as if Kita and her was changing personalities.
The power of marriage. The power of having kids perhapsㅡ
"Its been eleven years since I know ya right?" Kita said, still hugging his dear wife. "Can say. But it sure long period." Ayumu replied, internally counting those years. Her hands were holding Kita's. Kita gently swayed them right to left as those memories years ago made their way back to their minds.
"Remember how we met?" Kita asked.
"Yer not snitching on me about my sneeze aren't ya?" Ayumu chined up her head to look at him. Kita didn't say a word but his shoulders did shrugged and Ayumu provoked to hit him again.
"We sure coming from a long way." Kita breathed out. Leaned back to Kita's circle chest, Ayumu smile. "We are." She said with her thumbs caressed Kita's back of hands.
"From a stranger to my kouhai to my mentee to my team manager to my fiancee and my wife." Kita added.
"Ya forget about we are rival, hun. We used to bare each other fangs alot, remember?"
"Right. Ya always shout, FOR GOD SAKE KITA SHINSUKE!YER FUCKING DEAD! no?"
Ayumu laughed on how Kita tried to mimic the way she shouted to him years ago.
"Thank you for waiting for me, Ayumu." Kita said, sounded soft and gentle. Ayumu could sense the sentimental vibe radiated from him. Heaving a breath out, Ayumu let his arms go from caging her as she sat properly, beside him. Holding tightly to his hands, she smiled to him.
"Shin, am the one who needs to thank ya. Thank you. Thank you so much for waiting for me. Being all patient through out our relationship. Up and down. Thick and thin. Waiting for me till finish my highschool year. My studies in university even ended up married to ya when I'm in my third semseter." Ayumu giggled. "Thank you, hun."
Kita pursed her lips, tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. He let his thumb softly caressed the tip of her ear to under her eye and her cheek bone till he cupped her side profile of face.
"One year in high school knowing ya, is sure not enough. And now, its already be eleven years we know each other. But can I be greedier? I wanna to know ya more. I wanna treasure ya more. I wanna to spend my time with ya more. And having a big family with ya longer and longer." Kita leaned his forehead against hers. With his warmth lovely touch, Ayumu's eyes flustered close. "Aren't three children still not enough for ya, Shin?"
That made the two of them giggled.
"I love ya so much. Wanna make more memories with me, Ayumu?"
"Ya no need to ask me, Shin. It a pleasure to make more memories with ya."
As Kita leaning in closer to kiss Ayumu on her lips, another voice came interupted the moment.
"Gomen. . .but I hope yer not forgetting that I'm also in this house." Masaki said, taking his parents' attention. The boy was covering his eyes with one hand as the other was tightly gripping to an album.
Awkwardly cleared their throat, Ayumu and Kita created a gap in between of them.
"Sorry, boy. Let's us see what didya got now." Kita said and Masaki instantly sprinted towards them and flopped on the couch inbetween of his parents. A golden colour hard covered photo album was laid on his small laps. Ayumu scooted closer to her son with Kita's arm reached out, wrapping her shoulders, keeping her close.
"So can we start mama?" Masaki looked up at her. "Sure." She beamed as Masaki opened the photo album."
"Now, let's begin, the adventure of The Miyas."
