" So. . .you and your brothers are good now?" Oikawa asked, concernly. Ayumu, Iwaizumi and Oikawa were having video call. Placing the phone on her desk as she leaned the device against her book, Ayumu was sitting with folding legs on her chair. Upon Oikawa's question, she just let a small smile decorated her face as she slightly shrugged her shoulders.
" Can't say... I also didn't know either. It's like they are close to me but yet so far. We still not talking though ever since that day. They will rush to help me when they saw me doing heavy work but how can I say. . ." Ayumu pursed her lips. " Cold treatment? Like they help but it feels empty."
Eventhough there was a smile on her face, Oikawa and Iwaizumi could see the pain on her face. The day when the brothers left instantly from Ayumu's ward, the girl's tears damp automatically broken like a waterfall. She wasn't howling like a maniac either nor voice came out from her too. All she done at that time was, wiping her endlessly tears times to times and looked down on her cover.
" But I cannot complain you know. That was my decision." She said. " I took the choice to keep it hidden. So, whatever consequence it is, I need to accept it."
" But don't dwell with it too long. It's not good for your health." Iwaizumi reminded her as Oikawa agreed with his statement.
"Mm." She responded. " Tournament is soon after all so. . .I didn't hope much but hoping we will good before the day. Even if we are not, I hope my brothers are in top condition. They are Inarizaki's most powerful weapon after all." She grinned.
"They are." Oikawa softly smiled at her as Ayumu nodded. Comfort silence fall upon them a second after. Eventhough the two Miyagi brothers of hers were in the screen, Ayumu somehow could feel their presence beside her. She looked at the night sky, spacing off as Oikawa and Iwaizumi had their eyes softened on her. Looking at Ayumu right now, with the situation like this, they could say Ayumu was really fragile. She always was but usually, she barely showed that side of her but right now, it obviously could be seen. The argument with Atsumu and Osamu totally gave impact on her.
Hence, Oikawa and Iwaizumi had hard time to tell her about something important. They knew the news that they gonna share with her would just make her breakdown again. However, they didn't plan to hide or keep it from her. They wanted to tell her as soon as they could so Ayumu would not get carry away with it her feelings much later. The two guys were glancing towards each other, having telephaty thoughts on who gonna started the topic first. Their telephaty indeed became to hitting one another which gained Ayumu's attention.
"What is it?" She asked. Oikawa and Iwaizumi cleared their throat. What and how could they told her about this.
"Ayumu. . . You know that we; the third year of Aoba Johsai had graduated right? Even not yet official though." Iwaizumi started. Ayumu's puppy eyes made the guy had hard time to tell her. They didn't wanna to see her cry anymore. Ayumu just nodded upon Iwaizumi's statement. ". . .so, apperantly we already had our plan what to do after graduation." He added.
"Wow,that's good then." She smiled. A sincere smile. "So, what is it? I once talked about this is with Samu-nii chan before.. You know he will be third year next year and then graduate high school after that. . .So, you wanna share your plan with me?"

"Of course!" Oikawa grinned, gaining Ayumu's excited expression. " I thought about to pursue volleyball still." He told her.
"It's good then! Nii-chan gonna be in same team with Tsumu one day. Japan team yeah?" She grinned.
"Not really Ayumu." Oikawa said as Ayumu's face instantly frowned in curiosity. " I thought of going to Argentina after I graduate. To be a member in Argentina League. Remember my favourite team that I always told you before? The team that I have been a fan since little?"
Ayumu had her own battle on how she could react. Oikawa gonna go somewhere far. Far away which was out of her reach.
" So, y-you are l-leaving." Her voice crack.
" A-ayumu. . .it's not like I-Iㅡ"
" Why s-so fa-r? Why n-not j-just stay i-in Japan? We h-have powerful te-am to-o."
Oikawa gave her a small smile. How he wished he could wipe her tears that started to fall now. " You know, there words saying the far you go travel, the more you gain experince and knowledge."
" B-but sti-ll. . ." She could not find her word. She wiped her tears but gotten replace with another one. "Miyag-i and H-hyogo a-are enough far. . . And now Ar-gentina and Ja-panㅡ"
"Ayumu, you can just call me when you need me okay? I will have my time all free for you. I promise." Oikawa rose up his pinky. " I am a Japanese after all, my little girl, so...there is no way I don't coming back to my born country right? I'll come back to Japan time to time. Okay? "
"Same if you finally wanna get married to Kita too. Don't forget to sent invitation to us yeah?" Iwaizumi said, grinning as he tried to built up the happy mood again.
"Us? What do you m-mean by us? Tooru-nii is the only one who leave r-right?" She asked with her eyes got shaking more now. Iwaizumi thought he able to built up the mood but it happened other wise.
"Ayumu. . .you know, unlike ungrateful shittyKawa, I'll be back to serve my country." He said, trying to comfort her.
"Iwa-chan...you really choose to be mean to me aren't you?" Oikawa huffed.
"Shut up TrashyKawa. It's not about you here." Iwaizumi argued as he focused back to Ayumu. " I plan to pursue study in sport science at oversea, California. Gonna be an intern there too. But like I told you, I'll be back to Japan and become an atheltic trainer that support volleyball player here later. Its sound a good plan right?"
Ayumu didn't say a word. That was too much for her. First, it was Oikawa who gonna leave far away and then Iwaizumi too. Next, who else?
"Support us yeah?" Oikawa said, having Ayumu's dark ocean eyes too look at them again. Iwaizumi nodded with a smile on his face.
"We will be back." Iwaizumi added.

What had happened between Miya siblings, their team members know as much as well. Say if they didn't, they still could tell that the siblings were not in a good term now. The twins' behaviour were obvious showing that they ignored their sister presence in the same room. Ayumu also didn't push harder to close the gap because she knew there was nothing change if the brothers didn't try to close the gap too. It would be all useless if only one person worked for it.
The members didn't step in to help either. Not because they didn't care but it would be worriedsome double if it turned out worst if they step in. The brothers seemed doing well like nothing happened but different to Ayumu, she looked like not herself at all. Her presence felt so dull and distant. Kita would be the one who nudged her out from her little bubble and checking her up time to time.

After the practise, all of them cleaned up the gym and left to changing room after that. During the time Ayumu gathered her things inside her bag, alone in the changing room, her phone was vibrating inside the locker. There was text from Kita.
Kita Shinsuke ♥
Let's go to the town with me after this.
I will walk ya home later.
Already told Atsumu and Osamu about this.
So, don'tcha worry. Okay?
With a short reply by “okay”, she sent to Kita. Ayumu brought out her scarf and wrapped properly around her neck. Winter was no joke. The chilly evening breeze was colder than during the day. The team was walking together as they headed home until they arrived at junction. They parted their ways at that moment. Miya twins took another direction without bothered to glance over their sister who was standing beside Kita. They bid each other good bye but particularly ignored Ayumu. The sister was acting like she wasn't bother. Not like she had her eyes on her brothers as they walked away anyway.
Aran looked at Ayumu who had her eyes away. His eyes then met Kita and he mouthed towards him, “ we are counting on ya, Kita.” Omimi and Akagi who stood along side Aran were nodding as they also meant what Aran said. Kita nodded his head too before he waved his hand towards his friends. Once Ayumu noticed Kita was waving his hand, she done the same thing too.
The two were walking down the street with hand in hand. Ayumu didn't ask much about Kita's sudden plan that asking her to tag along with him. She just followed him to where ever Kita brought her to. When they reached at the town, they stopped at convenient store first to have instant noodle inside. Both were hungry after the long day so having instant noodle wasn't a bad choice. Usually it always Ayumu who brought up topics to talk but now it was Kita's turn. Fortunately, Ayumu responded just like how she used too. Kita would make a joke which obviously lame and not funny at all but Ayumu still laughed on that.
Then, during the time Kita and her strolled around, they spotted vendors that sold street food. That night, the two were spending their time with food hunting. From one vendor to other vendor. Ayumu wasn't a picky eater as she ate everything without complain. She enjoyed everything. As Kita looked at her when she was eating deliciously, he could not contain his smile.
After they fed themselve enough, the two walked alongside the river and sat themselve at the grassy green river bank aside. People were not as much as the center of the town just now. They could see only themselve at that place. Just few would passed by the spot. They sat there in silence. The river sound so calming.
The reason why Kita brought up the whole plan was to return the cheerful Ayumu again. Even if not the whole bright side of her, at least a little bit also enough for now. He looked at her carefully and examined her face expression. Her face was straight as no exact rection played on her face. Kita could tell there was alot inside her mind. Taking out of her guard, Kita wrapped her shoulders and brought her to lay down beside him. Ayumu shriked, thanks to his boldness. They laid on the grass and looking up at the night sky now.
"Kita, we was eating just now. Laying down will slow the digest." Ayumu said, gazing up at him. Her head was resting on his arm.
"Not like we are planning to sleep here." Kita said, glancing at her which Ayumu playfully hit his chest. Kita giggled as he scooted her closed to him and hugged her. With the cold weather that night, it was comfortable to hug as they could share their warmth.
Ayumu rested her head against his chest, clutched to his jacket. Meanwhile, Kita was playing with her hair smoothly.
" Ya must have alot inside yer mind right now. Yer brothers must be one of it. Is there something else too? Because ya feel so far these days." Kita said, sounded soft. Ayumu was quiet for a moment, clutching to his jacket alittle tighter. " I just didn't know how to say it." Ayumu said, quietly. " Enough with Tsumu-nii and Samu-nii acting so far. And now, Tooru-nii and Iwa-nii decide to go far away after graduate."
Kita's hand movement halted against her hair. "I know it selfish of me. I should not question about it because they have their right to decide what they wanna do after graduate. But the thoughts of them are away, its bother me alot. Having Tsumu-nii and Samu-nii acting so cold and distant like this already bother me to the core, . . . imagine if physically away. I don't think I can endure that." She said. " I should not think much about it right? I should focus on National instead, right Mr. Captain? "
Ayumu glanced up at him, trying to shrug of what she just said a second ago. Kita felt her eyes on him so he returned her gaze.
" There no point if ya focus on National if there something bother ya inside here." He said, gently poking her head. " Of course ya are going to feel that kind of way since they are close to ya. Plus, yer are their little girl, doesn't it?" Ayumu pouted her lips as in the same time she pinched lightly Kita's arm. Then, a question drifted inside her mind as she pursed her lips. "Kita, are ya going far too after graduate? Ya have a lot and high achievement anyway. It will not be surprise if ya suddenly got recommandation to pursue study at Havard or Oxford. "
Kita remained quiet but his eyes locked with her. In a blink of eyes, Kita rolled up as he hovered on top of her as Ayumu with her big eyes looking at him from underneath his torso. His arms were beside her head.
"Dude." Ayumu croaked out. " Tsumu and Samu once told me that ya are the most saint among them. And now, should I believe it?"
" We are at open place after all, Miya. What are ya thinking." Kita rose up his one brow.
" Just to remind ya." She said.
She was acting all calm outside but her face was all flush red. It could be either embarrassment or the weather. Kita caressed her face as Ayumu instantly snuggled against his touch.
" Either far or near, I will always be with ya." He confessed. What was that supposed to be mean? ㅡshe thought. Was he staying or was he going away too? Ayumu's eyes started to tear up. She forced a smile on her lips. She really could not stop thinking about her upperclassman third years. Ecspecially the one who close to her.
"We will see." Ayumu said, trying to act all tough.
Her glassy eyes caught Kita's attention. He caressed once against her cheek and leaned in to her face. He brushed his nose against hers as Ayumu's eyes fluttered shut. At that moment, a bead of tears escaped her eyes. Wipe the tears, Kita cupped her face and clasped her lips with his. Ayumu gripped his shoulder as she responded to his kiss.
Please don't leave me too,Shin.

After the events of Dr. Jose Rizal's second novel "El Filibusterismo", the story follows the tale of the former students Basilio and Isagani in the aftermath of the failed assassination plot against the most powerful governing political figures in the Delos Santos residence. Leonardo Montes, the incoming Captain-General, was both feared and loved by his subjects. A close friend of the king and reputed for upholding honor, discipline and goodwill among his subjects, he won the confidence of the Cortes and of the Filipino people when political unrest arose during the tenure of his predecessor when he represented the Philippines in the high courts and won the case. However, Montes, now at the early days of his tenure, is faced with a huge and pressing problem: the widespread opium trade in the Philippines. Chinese immigration to the Philippines has increased at an exponential rate since his predecessor came to power and so is the circulation of the substance within the country. Generic Zombie survival Wuxia Cliche story
Same old same old. Zombies attack. Zombies Evolve. Humans evolve. Humans gain superpowers. No deep plot, no plot planned out at all actually. Writing it as I go and because I'm a sad boi trying to use stories as a form of escapism. Not going to proofread, not going to check for grammar or anything. Will definitely read like a machine-translated Chinese amateur web novel. Have a nice day. (The cover is from one punch man, no this is not a fanfic) (I don't actually plan/think anything in this will be too gory or "traumatizing" but since its a zombie survival story I thought I might as well add it, plus the fact that the MC does some pretty messed up stuff. He's the stereotype Wuxia villain so to speak, expect competently and not dumbed down to make the hero look smart.) I will add warnings in author notes before chapter starts if anything particularly "gory" or trigger events happen.

This is a fanfic set in the universe of They Are Smol, an awesome series of stories which you should totally go read right now if you haven’t. The Smol Detective features one Oscar Williams, your standard Manly Badass DudeTM who gets thrown into a larger world where his physical skills are about as useful as a bucket of donkey spit. Therefore, he’ll have to adapt and do so quickly. It turns out that humans are really good at that sort of thing. But still, he’d better adapt fast. Because Oscar’s about to get sucked into a web of alien intrigue, drugs, and murder which will tax his other abilities to the limit… Formal Disclaimer Type Thing: I do not take credit for the original setting, this story is set in an alternate version of the 'They are Smol' universe, written by the one, the only u/tinyprancinghorse.TPH takes many forms and is known by many names.
