《Falling For You {Kita Shinsuke}》{Chapter 16: Blissful Afternoons}

I'm so nervous but so excited...
I thought while getting ready.
After getting dressed, I headed downstairs, smiling softly as I went.
"Where are YOU going dressed like that? And why are yer so happy?" Atsumu called out, jumping in front of me.
I kept quiet, trying to figure out what to say.
If I tell him that I'm going on a date, he'll freak out and give me a headache but if I lie, he'll definitely find out...but if I don't say anything he'll suspect something...
"I'm going to the beach..." I answered, trying not to sound suspicious.
Please God, make him believe that, I mean...I'm not lying...
"Yer sure about that?" Tsumu annoyingly pestered, stepping closer to me.
I rolled my eyes.
This little...
"Leave Nee-san alone, she needs a break once in a while from yer annoying voice" Samu countered, leaning against the door frame.
"HUH?!?!!?!?! Don't act like I'm the only one that yells in this house, ya do it too, yer stupid shit!!!!" Tsumu barked, glaring at his brother.
Samu was about to say something that would probably start another fight, so I stopped them.
"Alright, quit the yelling, yer giving the neighbours a hard time" I said.
Tsumu just huffed, crossed his arms and went to his room, shutting the door behind him.
It's like he turned eight again...
I turned to Samu.
"Try not to trash the house when I'm gone, Okaa-san and Otou-san are overseas on a business trip and I don't think they'd like finding out that the house is a wreck" I advised.
Samu nodded.
"Oh and Samu? I made yer pudding yesterday and it's in that compartment in the fridge" I said.
Samu's eyes lit up as he hugged me.
"Ah, yer know me so damn well"

He then walked away, disappearing into the kitchen.
I chuckled softly before opening the front door, exiting the house.
I saw Kita at the front, waving with a soft smile on his face.
I walked towards him, mirroring the same expression.
"Hey Kita, sorry I took so long, Tsumu was very....energetic today..." I sweat dropped.
"It's alright, let's go" Kita chuckled as he took my hand and proceeded to walk.
The afternoon was spent walking around town, laughing at stories and talking.
Though it sounded boring to a normal person, this was our ideal date, peaceful and quiet but filled with laughter, affection and love.
After an endless amount of walking, we decided to go to the beach.
The sun was about to disappear into the horizon as the evening breeze gently caressed my face as Kita and I walked along the shore, holding hands.
There weren't any people left on the beach now, it was just us and the ocean.
The sound of the waves crashing against each other put me in a calm state of mind.
We sat on the sand, watching the tide come in and out.
I placed my head on his shoulder.
"Thank you for today, I had fun"
"I'm glad you liked it" he replied smiling, putting his head on mine and wrapping his arm around my waist.
A blissful silence filled the air, the crashing of the waves serving as the background noise.
"Call me Shinsuke..." he breathed out, breaking the silence, placing a kiss on my forehead.
I blushed slightly by the sudden request and affection.
He is really going to be the end of me...
"T-then call me Hana.." I stuttered out, feeling flustered.
Shinsuke then stood up, laughing joyously while lifting me up and walking towards the water.

Hm? What's this?....wait....no...
"S-S-Shinsuke!!!! Wait!! N-No!!!" I wrapped my arms around his neck, laughing.
He threw me into the salty water and laughed when he saw my shocked but smiling face, he walked towards me.
Big mistake...
I pushed him back but instantly regretted, Shinsuke grabbed my arm and pulled me down with him.
We threw water at each other and chased each other around, our laughter filling the air.
After messing around, we settled down on the sand.
She brushed my hair out of my face as she stared at me with her dark grey orbs.
"Will yer be my girlfriend, Hana?" I asked, moving a strand of hair away from her face.
"Of course I will, Shinsuke" she answered, a light blush dusting her cheeks.
She's so adorable...
I smiled, holding her face in my hand, pinching her cheeks.
"Shin~" she whined, trying to pry my hands away.
I chuckled as I let go, leaning into her face, affectionately brushing my nose against her's.
I looked into her eyes as she stared back.
"You're so beautiful" I whispered.
She smiled as she put her forehead against mine.
I stared a bit more before closing the gap completely.
A warm feeling spread throughout my body as our lips moved in sync.
After a while, we pulled apart, trying to catch our breath.
We started to laugh as we held on to each other.
"How am I going to explain this when I get home?" she laughed gesturing towards her still wet clothes.
"I'll give yer some of my clothes" I suggested, pressing my forehead against hers.
"What the fuck happened?!?!?!" Tsumu shouted.
"Ya didn't look like that when yer walked out of this house!!!!!!"
I only shrugged, trying not to get flustered that Tsumu found me wearing Shinsuke's clothes.
