《Falling For You {Kita Shinsuke}》{Chapter 3: Notebooks}

After a few days, I managed to convince my parents to let the twins continue to play volleyball. It was a long and difficult endeavour but I managed.
That was more difficult than I thought it would be...it took a few days for that...those troublemakers better be thankful to have a sister like me...
I thought while making breakfast and bentos before going upstairs to wake up the twins.
Finally, the last period of school...after this and club activities I get to go home and sleep...
I thought while reading over my English.
I was working with Kita-san peacefully, the background filled with students talking to their partners filling the air. An occasional whine from Nina and reprimanding from Haruko was also heard.
Kita and I were almost finished with our assignment and was in the process of editing.
I feel so happy that I don't have to worry about this anymore...if we finish this today, we'll be able to hand it in a few weeks early...
"Miya-san, do you want to work in the library during lunch tomorrow?" Kita asked, looking up at his sheets of paper.
"Oh sure, we're almost finished anyways, we could hand it in early" I agreed, the bell ringing after my sentence.
"I'll see ya tomorrow then" Kita said, getting up.
"Mhm, cya" I replied, my eyes lingering on his retreating figure.
He's so emotionless...he should smile once in a while...
I thought before shrugging and packing away my papers.
Students began to file out of the classroom, on the way to their club activities.
"Hey Hana, have yer finished the English assignment?" Haruko asked, packing up.
"I'm almost finished. What about you?" I asked, zipping up my bag.
"Haven't got a clue on what I'm doing, Nina's too distracting and loud. I didn't catch a thing the teacher said when she was explaining" Haruko complained, pointing her thumb at the sulking Nina behind her.

"I'm not THAT loud~" Nina whined, major sulk lines appearing on her forehead.
"If you want, I can give you mine" I offered, feeling sorry for the both of them.
Haruko perked up at that.
"Really? You sure?" Haruko said, brows raising slightly.
"Yea sure, why not, I trust ya" I replied while unzipping my bag and bringing out a familiar notebook.
I turn to the cover to find the name 'Kita Shinsuke' written on it.
"Eh?"
We must've switched out notebooks by accident...
"Hm? What's wrong Hana?" Haruko asked, concerned.
"Oh it's nothing bad, it's just that this book isn't mine" I replied, sighing.
I have to find him...what a drag...
"I'll just go and find my partner and switch our notebooks back, do yer know what club Kita Shinsuke is in?" I asked, looking at Haruko.
"Oh, I think he's in the boy's volleyball club" Haruko answered, swinging her bag over her shoulder.
*SMACK*
"OW HARUKO-CHAN, THAT HURT" Nina shouted, her hands rubbing her head.
"Oh...don't mind" Haruko replied, indifferently.
"HEY!!!! SHOULDN'T YOU SAY SORRY!?!?!? THIS ISN'T A VOLLEYBALL MATCH" Nina yelled angrily.
"..."
"Hana-chan~ Haruko is being mean to me again~" Nina cried out comically, rubbing her head.
Why do I have to deal with this mess...
I walked up the path towards the gym, seeing its door's open and volleyballs flying across the courts.
I heard loud yelling as I got closer to the gym.
That sounds awfully familiar...
I thought suspiciously, walking towards the doors, peeking inside.
I saw everyone off to the side while two people who happened to have dark grey and blonde hair occupied the space on one side of the court, throwing volleyballs at each other.
What is it now...
I thought before deciding to ignore them, trying to find Kita.
I went inside, seeing Kita no where in sight and walked up to a random member who was standing off to the side, filming it.

I mentally sweat-dropped.
"Excuse me, do yer know where Kita Shinsuke is?" I asked politely, gaining his attention, his greyish-yellow eyes looking into my dark grey ones.
"No..he hasn't arrived yet, what do you need him for?" he asked, putting his phone down.
"I'm just here to switch back our notebooks" I explained, the yelling from the twins getting louder by the second.
I looked towards them, disappointment clear in my eyes as I narrowly avoided a stray volleyball.
"Why are they like this..." I whispered, questioning my relation to them.
"You know them?" the boy questioned.
"Unfortunately, I'm their older sister, Miya Hana, nice to meet ya" I replied, looking back at the tall boy.
"I see, I feel sorry for you then..Suna Rintarō, senpai" Suna introduced, continuing to converse with me.
We continued out conversation until I felt someone tap my shoulder.
I turned around, meeting Kita's brown eyes, my notebook in his hand.
"I believe this belongs to you" Kita said, handing me my notebook as I did the same.
"Ah yes, sorry for troubling ya, Kita-san" I apologised, bowing slightly.
"There's no need to apologise" Kita reassured.
I nodded in response and said goodbye to Suna before getting cut off suddenly by a familiar voice.
"NEE-SAN, SAMU KEEPS ON ACCUSIN' ME OF THINGS I HAVEN'T DONE" Atsumu complained, walking up to me while pointing at Osamu.
"BUT YER DID, STOP LYING TO HER" Osamu fumed, tick marks forming on his head as he walked towards me.
"DID NOT"
"DID TOO"
"DID NOT!!"
"DID TOO!!!!!"
At this point, I think I might go into an early grave because of these two...
I thought, about to get a headache because of the noise pollution.
I finally had enough, smacking both of them with my English notebook.
"Stop fighting, I'm getting a headache, finish fighting after yer club, don't do it here, yer disturbing practice" I scolded, feeling sorry for the others.
"B-but, justice must be served!!!" Atsumu tried to convince me.
"Don't start with me, yer shit" I shot back, shutting him up.
"H-hai..." he trailed off, slightly scared.
"Apologise to yer team for disturbing them and get back to practice, I didn't spend my few days trying to convince our parents for nothing" I reminded them, my cold grey eyes staring into their souls.
"W-we're sorry for disturbing, it won't happen again..." the twins apologised to their team, bowing a bit.
I highly doubt that but this will have to do for now...
I thought, mentally tired.
"I also apologise on behalf of my childish brothers, please forgive them" I apologised bowing.
"I'm leaving now, don't cause anymore trouble for yer teammates" I advised my twin brothers.
"Hai..." the twins replied, careful of triggering me further.
Gosh, these two will be the death of me...
"I'll see yer tomorrow, Kita-san" I said, looking into his thankful eyes.
"See you, Miya-san" he replied.
After explaining to Fujiwara-sensei why I was late, I managed to avoid my punishment as I went to Haruko and gave her my notebook.
"Thanks a lot, yer a lifesaver" Haruko thanked.
"I'm realising that I get called that a lot" I noted.
"I never knew the twins had an older sister"
"She's someone that needs to be respected, she shut them up instantly"
"Wait...isn't she the Guardian Fox of Inarizaki"
Atsumu perked up at that.
"Ah yes, my Onee-san is a very talented Defensive Specialist, Wing Spiker AND Opposite Hitter, she actually taught us how to play volleyball" Atsumu bragged to the team.
"Don't act like you didn't get scolded by her just then" Osamu shot, trying not to laugh.
"O-Oi, I'm not!! I was just saying how great my sister is, got a problem with that?!" Tsumu shot, feeling slightly offended.
"She's MY sister too!"
"WELL I'M HER FAVOURITE"
"TAKE THAT BACK, YER PIG"
