Your writing challenge this week is to create a murder mystery a la Clue - you know, the board game and 80s classic film (seriously, go watch it if you haven't already). Typically, these murder mysteries take place in one location (like a mansion, beach house, fan convention, office building) for a party or gathering of some kind. There's a murderer and the guests must determine who it is. These murder mysteries can either start with a murder, and the guests spend the rest of the time investigating, or various murders occur throughout the story and the guests must solve the crime while trying to stay alive. Get creative with it and put your own spin on a classic whodunit.
This isn't a contest, but rather a PERSONAL WRITING CHALLENGE to give you inspiration and a new appreciation for the mystery genre. There is no winner or deadline for this challenge, but we will be adding some of our favourite stories to a new reading list. Be sure to tag your story with

I had many ideas I want to write about for a long time but never wrote the out. I started reading JPN LN then got into all the Chinese LN so was influence by both types. I already read a few ln about being a dungeon/dungeon master and really enjoy and one day suddenly had an idea. What if a cultivator was to become a dungeon? A lot of these dungeon ln all have someone with modern world experience become the dungeon so they all have this advantage of games but what if someone who is straight out of a xianxia novel instead? Someone who has no idea how a more medieval fantasy world works and have no idea what a dungeon even is. This give me a lot of fun things to write about and finally decide to try writing it share it with you all! I hope you all enjoy it and please leave comments/review telling me how I can improve.

Giantslayer
Synopsis: Alain is a fledgling Giantslayer, enhanced individuals capable of killing deadly giants. But these giants are not big, they are what ancient humans would refer to as mundane animals or beasts. 'The Final Curse' as many humans call it, was a curse that shrunk down the entire human population to the size of small rodents. When the curse first occurred, the majority of the human population was eaten by beasts who are now of towering heights and sizes. But their abandoned gargantuan structures were not built for naught, the remaining humans retreated back into their now giant buildings and rebuild societies and nations inside of them. Follow Alain in his quest to right the wrongs done to his past and hunt down the elusive and mythical Elder Giants, giants capable of intellects and speech. Are they real? Alain certainly insists so despite no one believing him. But perhaps it did not matter, they were real enough to him for what they did to his family. A/N: I'm pretty new to writing creatively so I hope to improve as we move along the story. The prose I use is still fairly simple and 'plain', but I am also new to literature in general so I am hoping to improve my vocabulary as well. It should also come under no surprise that I am a non-native English speaker and writer as well. With that said, I do appreciate constructive feedback. Please don't be overly mean at least.
