CALLING ALL THIEVES AND SWINDLERS! We want you to tell us your side of the story for this week's #MysteryMay writing prompt in the form of a Mystery.

A caper story is kind of like crime fiction's nasty little sidekick that chooses to explore the villain's POV instead of the hero's. Here's your chance to get into your antagonist's head and let us (the readers!) understand a little bit more about the criminal mastermind you're creating.

But be aware that not all villains have to be so serious. In fact, most caper mysteries like to have a little moustache-twirling fun with their storylines. "Caper" actually means to leap in a frolicsome way, which sounds pretty hilarious to us, so don't be afraid to add some humor into your idea!

** This isn't a contest, but rather a PERSONAL WRITING CHALLENGE to give you inspiration and a new appreciation for the mystery genre.
