《Mystery Contests & Writing Prompts》Contest 3: Missing Person

So for our next contest, we want you to dip deep into your emotional repertoire. The prompt is simple: Someone has gone missing. However, we are not interested in the actual disappearance, but the aftermath. Are friends and relatives worried out of their minds? Is the kidnapped person fearing the worst? Is the killer watching his victim with glee, satisfied that he once again got away with a murder? It is totally up to you which perspective you choose (missing person, abductor, family or friends) as long as you give us your best shot at their emotions.

We know emotions are hard to write. A real beast, even. But we also know that you can do it and will give some tips afterwards. So give it your best shot.

One entry per person

Word Limit: 2000

Due date: November 25, 2016

As usual, tag your story with #MysteryFriday and drop the link to your story in the comments below. The entry has to be a new story or a new part of a collection. We are already looking forward to your submission. Also, be sure to proof read and make sure your grammar/spelling is as good as you can make it!

Note: For all of you who are eagerly awaiting the winners of the last contest, we are busy working through the many submissions. Hopefully, we will have our winners by next Friday.
