Edna Mode an eccentric fashion designer renowned for designing supersuits for the heroes in the Incredibles movies. She worked closely with Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl (Bob and Helen Parr). She has stayed in touch with the Parr family since before the events of first The Incredibles movie. But I think there is more to Edna then we think. I believe that Edna "E" Mode is actually.... A SUPER!

What is her power though? I think it's super intelligence! But maybe she just has a very high IQ? Well, Mr. Incredible has super strength is considered a super power so why can't super intelligence also be a super power?

She lives in a house guarded with super high-tech machines that I think she invented. She also makes the material used in the suits she makes. She even says it herself when Helen goes to her house and Edna shows her the suits she has made for Helen and her kids: "Your daughter's suit was tricky. But I finally created a sturdy material that will disappear completely as she does." So I'd say she makes the suits and materials herself because of the variety of powers there are in the world.

In The Incredibles 2 she is able to handle babysitting Jack-Jack whereas Bob/Mr. Incredible couldn't handle it. Not only was she able to handle the super power baby, observe him and design his super suit but she explicitly stated that she would gladly do it again. It's safe to say that this probably isn't the first time she has handled a superbaby.

At the end of The Incredibles 2, Frozone was going to send his kids to Edna for safety, but why would he send his kids to a non-super human who wasn't capable of protecting them?

So if a super high IQ means you are a super, does that mean that Syndrome is a super as well? Well, actually the answer is yes! But I'll save that for another chapter.
