Clarence, a cartoon on Cartoon Network that first aired on July 25th, 2014 and ended on February 3rd, 2017. Created by Skyler Page who also voiced the young boy, Clarence, and also got let go for Sexually Assaulting Emily Partridge.
Clarence is still one of my favorite cartoons to watch, it's funny and creative. Me and my little sister used to get pumped for a new episode! But we always wondered.... why doesn't Gilben Move or Talk? He doesn't even blink!
Well, he does move but only in Season 1. So maybe after everything in Season 1, him and his family end up moving and Clarence, being the goofy, creative kid that he is, makes a new Gilben from a mannequin. That's why the fake Gilben never moves or talks, the kids are just imagining that it's the real Gilben.
On the episode "The Big Petey Pizza Problem" Jeff pretends he is fighting Gilben, not truly upset that he shares a birthday with Gilben, but that all his friends are giving a fake Gilben more attention then him, a real person.
