Imagine, that your friend cancelled a dinner date with you last minute so now you are sitting alone in a restaurant.
The waiter comes and asks for your order and you do so, but just before he could go, a voice stops him.
"Make that two thank you,"
Frowning, you look up to see some guy sitting in front of you. Once the waiter leaves, you turn to him and ask,
"And you are?" He gives you a boyish smile.
"Your saviour,"
"My saviour?" He nods.
"I was fine without you," you say to him. But you don't have it in your heart to tell him to leave. It isn't everyday that cute guys come to sit at your table.
"Now tell me why you are waiting here all alone?" You roll your eyes at him.
"Were you stalking me? Because I don't find that creepy at all," he laughs out at your response.
"Nooo," he drags out.
"Of course not," a small smile cracks on your face but you still keep a straight face.
"You are an idiot,"
"Uh... a cute one," he winks while you try your best to keep a straight face.
"Shut up,"
The waiter comes back with food and you both start eating it.
You and him start talking while bickering at the same time. You find yourself actually enjoying this dinner
Until it's time for you to leave. You get up and so does but deep down, you don't want to leave. You were having fun but duty calls.
"I had....fun," he looks down then back up at you. His eyes twinkling under the soft street lights.
"You hesitated," you open your mouth to say something but he cuts you off.

"It's fine, why would I sit at a random girl's table as soon as I walk in?" He shakes his head probably thinking on how you could have been nice just so you don't be rude to him.
"Stop. I had fun. I promise," you place a hand on his arm to make him look at you.
His eyes stare into yours. That is enough to make butterflies erupt in your stomach.
"Guess I should let you go now," he pulls you to him into a hug.
You freeze but then slowly relax and wrap your arms around him.
When he backs away, he looks at you for a second before shaking his head like he is debating something.
"Yes?" You say in hopes he tells you.
Then suddenly, he places his lips on yours before running off into the distance.
"Hey!!" You say because you barely had time to think before he left.
Smiling, you turn around towards your car when you notice a piece of paper on the wipers of the car. You walk closer and pick it off to see numbers.
Phone number.
His phone number.
You internally smile at how smooth he is.
