Imagine, that you are surfing on the sunny beach with your friends.

They tell you that they are going inside the beach house to set up for a party but you tell them that you are going to surf for longer.

You spot a wave coming up so you take your board and run towards the wave. Just as it approaches you, you put pressure on your feet and it takes you up the wave. The same euphoric feeling washes over you as you keep going along it. But you didn't realise that someone was also going up this wave and you both collide and fall in the water.

You get out the water gasping and open your eyes to see a guy surface as well. He runs a hand through his hair and snaps his head at you. You give him an innocent smile and when he sees you, he starts to laugh and swims towards you.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you," you say to him.

He smiles under the warm sun and shakes his head.

"Don't worry, I just-" you don't hear the rest because he dips your head as you go down the water.

You surface again and shout,

"You are so damn dead!" You swim faster towards him as he tries to run away.

Just in time, you quickly reach him and duck him under the water too.

When he comes back up, you are laughing hard at his face.

"How was that?" You say in between laughs.

He has a mischievous glint in his eyes as he looks at you. You quickly sober up and gulp as he stalks towards you.

"Hey, let's have peace okay?" But to no vail.

He comes rushing and grabs your waist, lifts you up and dumps you in the water as a scream escapes you.

"Damn him," you say as you flatten out the dress you are wearing.

You walk out of your in the beach house and walk towards the living room where the party is full on running.

Instead of staying inside, you go outside towards the balcony as you watch the stars glitter on the water on the beach.

You didn't realise a person was standing there so you jump when they say,

"Hey," you turn to your left to look and recognise the blue eyes.

"You?" You chuckle out.

He gives you a sweet smile in return.

"You left way too fast and didn't give me your name. So I decided to stalk you," you laugh out as you walk closer to him and lean against the railing just like he is.

Bot your arms brush and you hold in a shudder.

"Not your scene?" He points inside towards the party and you shake your head.

"Maybe that is then?" He points towards the beach, instantly, your eyes brighten.

"I guess I found my person."

You don't answer him, instead, you hold the railing tight and jump over the fence landing on the sand.

"Are you ok? Omg," the guy shouts. You look up to see him jump over and land just next to you.

"Oh," he says when he realises just short of a height it was.

You laugh out as you quickly take your dress off in one swift motion and run towards the sea.

He follows behind just in time and goes straight in the calm sea too.

You both swim silently as the ripples of water are heard.

You turn your head and look at him to find him staring at you already.

"Why do I find you so fascinating?" He whispers more to himself.

You both swim closer to each other and look at each other in the eyes.

Your stomach flips at the realisation that in the short amount of time you spent together, you want to more about this beach boy.

"You haven't told me your name beach boy," you say you ruffle his hair up.

"Landon," he whispers just before he closes the distance between you both.

You don't push him. You kiss him back. You kiss him back because summer is supposed to be for fun.
